Abrian POV

After saving our old friend, we are on the brink of war. While our allies takes the front lines, we decided we will take the infiltration missions. Since we have Israphel and now our old Lord, we are better suited for it.

"Abrian, are you sure about this? Because infiltration missions sometimes can get very, very difficult. Not only we will loose our men, but we might loose them" Israphel said to me, "I know, but we need to bring informations of their strengths  and their weaknesses, Israphel" I replied, he sigh. "Alright. But who will I be bringing for this mission?" Israphel asked again. "How about Capone/Valanor? Since he is back, and he is very good at infiltration missions. He done it in the past with Tessa, but since Tessa is on another mission, you can bring Valanor to this mission and maybe Linda as well" i said, "consider it done, Abrian. Make sure you take the front lines while we are infiltrating their base, alright?" He said, "Of course, my friend. Take care" I said, "You too" Israphel said if before he disappears. And now it is time to get prepared.

~ Hours Later... ~

Valanor POV

I was on the balcony, when suddenly i can see Israphel teleported. "Val! I need to talk to you!" He said as i teleport to him. "What is it?" I asked, "We need you to go on a mission, Val" He answered as i sigh. "I am tired of doing this, Israphel. Plus, why not Abrian instead? Or you even" I said, "This is an infiltration mission, Val. We need your skill to get on enemy intel on what are their strengths and weaknesses" He replied. "Alright, fine. I'll do it. And who will come to me on this mission?" I asked, "You will go with Linda. Be ready for tomorrow. You will go at 4 AM. Don't be late, friend" He said as he disappears. "4 AM. I need to get ready now. I hope this goes nice and easy", i said.

~ The Next Day ~

~ ShadowVille Gates, 03:51 AM ~

Israphel POV

I was waiting on the city gates, and then i saw Linda, running towards me. After she's finally here, she was breathing heavily. "What took you so long, Lin?" I asked, "S-sorry, Israphel. I woke up a bit late" she replied. "That's a reasonable answer, i guess" I replied. "So, where is Valanor then?" I asked. All of the sudden, Valanor was next to us, with a cup of tea on his hand. "Right here" He said, taking a sip on his tea. "Alright. Are you both ready for this?" I asked, and they both nodded.

"Alright, here is your mission:
1. Find and infiltrate the enemy fortress.
2. Gather all any useful information on their strength and weaknesses.
3. If you found survivors of ours and other allies, free them if you can.
4. If you are caught, do whatever it takes to defeat them and if some are alive, bring them back for an interrogation.
5. Always be ready for what comes ahead.

"That is all, you both stay safe alright? Take care you two and good luck" I said, opening the gate as they are going outside for their journey.

Many Hours Later...

Valanor POV

After a couple of hours later, we finally have found the fortress. It's just a couple of meters away from our current position. But, we then decided since it's still daylight, we cannot get in. We both must wait until night comes.

We decided to find a cave for me and Linda to stay in for the day. After searching around for a couple of minutes, we finally found the cave, near the woods. I decided to check inside first, to see if everything is alright. "Is the cave looks alright, Val?" Linda asked, i come out from the cave and said "Yeah, it looks alright. Come on in" I replied as she comes in.

"This cave is nice, Val. Plus, we are in the woods, so the enemy won't be easily finding us" She said, "I hope so. Get some sleeping bags in, i am gonna go outside and looking around" I replied.

An Hour Later...

Linda POV

After setting the sleeping bags, i felt tired. Since Valanor is outside guarding, I don't mind sleeping for a little while. I lay down on my sleeping bag and tried to close my eyes. "Hey Lin!" A shout coming from outside and it woke me up in an instant. "Would you mind if you go outside for a little bit?" Valanor said, "Yeah, sure Val" I replied. I got up and walked outside. I found Val, sitting on the grass fields.

I don't know why but i felt something, deeply inside me. I am not sure what it is, but i decided to let it be.

"What is it, Val?" I asked, "Why not you lay down on the grass, and look at the surroundings" He replied. Well, i was gonna get a nap until you called me, but whatever. I lay down on the grass, then i felt my eyes are closing. "You tired, aren't you Lin?" He asked, "Hmhm" I replied with a tired voice. He chuckle and then i fell asleep.

17:19 PM

Linda POV

I was awoken from my sweet slumber, and when i look around, i found Val, sitting all by himself, seeing the sunset. Gosh, he looked... Kinda handsome. Then, when i take a closer look, i can see him, and i didn't expect it.

He was crying. I can see tears coming from his eyes, and when i get closer to him, he quickly rubs his tears and looked at me, with a warm, tired smile. "Val, you okay?" I asked as i sat down beside him, "Yeah, I'm alright. Oh and i got you some food right here" he said, giving me a plate with food. "Thanks! ^~^" I replied, with a smile. He smiled back, "Well, i am gonna go inside the cave, when you're done, come inside alright? We need to wait until midnight" He said, "Okay Valanor" i replied. "Oh! Val, did you ate or rest earlier? You seemed a bit tired and hungry" I asked, "No, it's alright. I already eat, but i just need some time for rest. If you need me, just call my name" He said and walked to the cave. I just sat there, thinking and eating the food that Val gave to me.

Hmm... I wonder if Val is alright. He seemed to be very quiet. But, i decided to let it be and eat and looked at the beautiful sunset.

Valanor POV

I feel it again, but earlier was stronger.
That feeling when i get close to someone.
That feeling when i like someone. That feeling when I'm in love, with someone.
I sat there, in the cave. I pulled out my knife and cut myself on my arms and hands.
It felt... empty and cold, just like my heart. Why am i have to fall in love... i started to cry and my tears were running down to my cheeks. I kept cutting, until I've had enough. I lay down on the cold stone, and tried to sleep.

An Hour Later...

Linda POV

After finishing my food, i got up and looked at the view once again and go back into the cave. After i got inside, i saw Val again, with cut marks on his arms and hands. I came closer to him, i took a bandage from my bag because i can see cut marks on his hands and arms. I take his arm and put patch up his cut marks. He slowly awake, i looked at him. "Val? You alright?" I asked, "I-i don't know... I just... having a bad dream, that's all" He replied, with a warm smile. I looked at him, after got his cut patched up, i put my hand on his cheek. "You sure? Because we need to get ready for this mission" i said, he nodded as he got up. He picked up his helm and put it on. "You should get ready too, Linda" He said as he walked out. But before he can walked out, i grabbed his hand. "W-wait... Could you look at me for a second?" I asked him as he turn around, "Yeah sure. What is it?" He asked. I blushed slightly, "But, c-could you take your helm off first?" I asked, he nod and took his helm off. "Now what?" He asked again. I quickly kisses him on his lips and it makes him gasped and widen his eyes. He then starts to kissed me back.

He put his arms around me and pulled me closer. I put my hand on his chest and we both started to make out. He was asking for an entrance, but i denied. He then touched my backside (AKA butt, just sayin XD) and my cat tail, which makes me gasped and squeak. And that was his chance and he darted his tongue and explore every inch and every corner of my mouth. Then we both lay down, i am on the top. His kisses are fueled with passion and lust. After a couple of minutes make our session, we then stopped to breathe.

I got from him and he got up as well. I was blushing bright red from that, as well for him. "S-sorry, Val. I-i just... I love you" I said, "I know, and i do too. But for now, get ready. We have a mission to do" He said as he wears his helm back on and went outside.

~ Midnight ~

Valanor POV

After waiting long enough, i think this is the time to sneak in and attack. But before i could go, i saw Linda, sleeping. This is where i make a risk and the risk that i take is a dangerous one. I let Lind stays in here, i put up a spell in this cave, so no one will find this. Before i go outside, i pet her head for one more time. "See you later, Linda~" i said and kissed her head and teleported outside and ready to face the enemy.

Hours Later...

Linda POV

I woke up from my slumber and when i look around, i gasped. I heard cheering outside. And when i got out, it was the ShadowVille knights. I looked at Abrian, who was running towards me, "Linda! We've been looking for you!" He said, as he comes to me. "Lord Abrian, do you see Val?" I asked, "I thought he was with you. He finished his mission, and he said you helped him too. But, he said that you we're injured, so he hid you somewhere. But now he had returned home" He replied. "B-but, i didn't-", "Don't worry, Linda. He will be alright. Oh and also, he send you this" Abrian said, giving me a paper. "What's this?" I asked, "I don't know. I need to leave you for now, Linda. Get ready to go home, friend. I'll be waiting you" He said, running to his horse.

I opened the paper and it reads:

Dear Linda,

I know you probably confused, because that you didn't finish the mission. But, it's for your own good. I know that you loved me, and so do i. But, i can't. I am inhuman, i am a demon. I cannot love anyone. I want you to be with someone else, than me. I want you to have a better life with someone better than me. Please, don't feel for me, i am broken already and darkened by my past, but for you, i still have hope. You don't need to worry about me, I'll be alright. I am glad you are safe, the battle that i fought was difficult, i have a couple of bruises, and cuts, but I'll be alright. I want you to take care of yourself. I hope we can meet again, My Friend.

After reading the message, i understand that he wants to have me, but he cannot. But, at least if he has me as a friend, i am still glad. Then i walked to Abrian, "Ready to go home, knight?" He asked as i got onto my horse. "Yeah. Let's go home" I said as we both ride our horses back home.
