It was a wonderful evening on the residence, where people chatted up while they are jogging, birds chirping can be heard and the morning sky brighten up the land.

It was a wonderful day for Daniel, since it's Saturday, he often tried to visit her, but couldn't since he needs to do assignments and his work at a local cafe. But now, it was his day off and it seemed perfect for him visiting her.

3rd Person POV

Daniel walked down on the pathway, as he humming happily and walking to Lilith's house, his girlfriend. It's been almost 2 months that he haven't seen her, and he is so excited to see her again.

"Yo, Daniel!" Someone said from behind him. He looked back and saw his best friend, Valanor.

He waved at him, "Hey, pal!" He shouted, as his black haired friend finally beside him, panting.

"You looked like you run for a mile, how you've been?" Daniel asked, as Valanor stand up and starts walking with him.

"Not bad. Been busy at the cafe, since you're not there because of tests and all. So, how you've been? It seemed that you are going somewhere" He asked me.

"Going to see my girlfriend's house today. I missed her and since I have a free time, I decided to go to her house to pay a little visit" Daniel replied, as Val nodded.

"I see. Well, I gotta go now man, see you later. Bye!" He ran off, leaving Daniel behind.

I hope she will love my gift that I made for her... He thought, continue to walk to her house.

~ 15 Minutes Later ~

3rd Person POV

Daniel finally made it, he was just near her house. He felt his heart beating wildly, and felt happy that he is going to met her again.

Before he could get closer, he noticed that her front door opens. He quickly hide behind a tree, to see who it was. When he waited for a good couple of seconds, he saw her. Lilith. He smiled and was about to go out from his hiding place, but it seemed... different.

Then, out of the blue, a man walked out from the door and looked at Lilith, smiling.

Who the heck is that guy?! Daniel thought, as he felt anger and rage in him.

Unexpected turn of event, he witnessed that she holds the guy's hand tightly, not letting it go. Same with the guy, smiling at her.

I-is... I-is she... Daniel thought about it, and then shook his head of disbelief. No, it can't be. It might be just one of her friends... yeah, her friend... He thought, tried to remain calm and positive.

Daniel stalked Lilith and the guy as he kept thinking to himself: 'Is Lilith really... cheat on me?' He asked himself, over and over again.

It was 6 PM, he had stalk them for quite sometime. He then watch them both sitting at a park bench. He then hides in the bushes, kept his eyes focused on them.

He then felt rage, as the guy's hands cupping Lilith's cheek. She then started to blush slight pink, as the guy came closer to her.

N-no... T-this cannot be... Daniel thought, as his eyes widen from the scene he witnessed.

He saw the guy and Lilith, kissing. It seemed that she liked it, as well for the guy.

By just seeing this, Daniel started to fall down to his knees, disbelief from what he saw. He quickly took out his phone and took a picture of Lilith and the guy.

He then kept looking towards them, feeling heartbroken, and replaced.

He gave everything for her, everything, and this is what she repaid for him. He put his hand to his chest, and tried not to cry from seeing his lover, liking another man.

He then started to get up and walked slowly, leaving those two alone together.

From the beginning of the day, he felt like the happiest man alive. But, all of that went the opposite side, as he felt his heart has broken down into pieces. Every second, every minute, and every hour he spent trying to reach for her was all wasted in this single day.

He then slowly walking home, sobbing from what he witnessed.

~ 4 Days Later ~

Cafe, 14:21 PM
Lilith POV

It's been 4 days I haven't seen Daniel. I really missed him, and he said he supposed to see me 4 days earlier, but he didn't. Is he sick? I thought, as I cleaning the coffee cups and put them back on the dryer.

I then saw Valanor walked passed, which was a good opportunity to ask, "Hey Val" I said, as he stopped on his tracks and looked at me, "Yeah?", said Val. "Why is Daniel haven't come back here? Is he sick and not telling us?" I asked, "Hmm... I don't know for sure, but he said he is very sick that he called me just like 4 days ago and haven't been calling or texting me back" He explain. Before Val walked off to get the dishes, he remembered something, "Oh, and also, did you met with Daniel?" He asked, "No, we didn't. He said he was gonna meet me, but it seems he didn't come. It's like 4 days ago" I said, and Val just nodded and giving the look of 'I see' plastered on his face. "Why don't you check on him? Because when the last time he called me, he seemed very sad and I can hear his sobs through while me and him talking" He explained, "I see, thanks for the info, Val" I replied, he simply smiled and walked to do the dishes.

Are you alright, Daniel...?

~ Moments Later ~

Abrian Apartment, 16:04 PM
Lilith POV

I was in front of Daniel's apartment, and I can already tell by the atmosphere, it is not looking very good. I then walked and end at the end of the door, and hesitantly knock on the door.
Silence...

'Hmm... I guess no one is home...' I thought, and started to walk away slightly, before I heard rustling sounds coming from inside the house.

I then looked at the door, then coming closer again. "H-hey Daniel, you there?" I asked, nervously, waiting for an answer. Even though if there is no one there, but I felt there is someone there.

"What do you want...?" A voice said, coming from the other side of the door. It sounded like Daniel, but something seems very off.

"Hey Daniel, it's me Lilith. I was worried that you are sick or maybe worse. So, I just wanna come here and visit you, is that okay?" I asked, concern and worried. It was silence, thirty seconds passed and he open the door, and I was shocked at his state. His dark hair was a total mess, his hazel eyes we're empty and filled with emptiness, his body seemed tired and pretty much everything was terrible.

"Come in..." He said, making a body gesture 'come in'. I then stepped into his apartment, and everything was a mess. Total mess. There are clothes everywhere, bunch of kitchenware still not cleaned up, books on the floor, pretty much a mess in here.

I then looked towards Daniel, "Do you want me to help you clean them or-", "No need, Lilith" He said, cutting off my words. "O-oh, okay..." I replied, tilting my head down, and sat on the couch.

~ Minutes Later ~

Lilith POV

Everything was dead silence between us, but I decided to break the silence. "Hey, how you've been Daniel?" I asked, he seems know that my voice contains concern and caring. He just looked away and said, "Not much... what about you?" Plainly, he said that.

He seemed... different. Is there something wrong?

I decided to go further, "You sure okay? You seemed different than before. Something happen?" I asked, then I saw he clench his teeth and held the urge of... anger, it looks like.

He then sighed heavily and said,

"Are you tired of me...?"

I gasped and shocked by his sudden question, "W-what are you talking about, Daniel? You know that I always love you, no matter what it is, I always do" I ensured him, he then give a slight laugh, thinking that I'm lying.

"Can you be truthful?" He asked, as he grabbed his phone, "Or do you want to witness something that you never wanted to see?" He asked again, with his emptiness eyes.

I let out a sigh and smiled at him, "Of course, Daniel. Why would I lie to you?" I said.

He then looked at me for at least 10 seconds before turning on his phone, "So... this is the road you go, huh? Well, fine... You ask for it" He said, plainly and seemed tired of everything.

He then showed something from his phone, and it give me a heart attack. It was a picture of me, kissing another man.

He knows?! What must I do now!, I thought.

"You said that we will always be together, forever... Yet, you... you looked for someone else..." He said, his voice seemed tired. Tired to live. Tired to resist. Tired to rise back.

"I-I can ex-", "I don't want to hear your excuse..." He cut me off, and tears started running down to his cheeks. He kept resisting, but to no avail. He then let out a smile, a sad smile. "Why you didn't tell me? If you did tell me, we could still be friends..." His voice cracked and I can feel sadness within him.

"I-I'm sorry, Daniel..." I said, feeling tears in my eyes. I can hear him stop crying and then he looked at me, "If you wanted to be with him, go ahead. I won't stop you. If he makes you happier than I am, go..." He said, lost for words, lost for living, lost for everything.

"B-But-", "JUST GO!" He shout, as I got up and walked out, and going back to my home.

What have I done...?

And also, Kaneki personality seemed almost the same as me, idk why though. I'm sure ya don't believe me, maybe I'm just following it. But keep in mind, I started watching it this year.

Kaneki personality is kind, clumsy, acting kid like, into reading(novels freaks XD like me), and so on.

Yeah, the same as I do, except I'm not that smart. My brain is too stupid x3.

But anyway, that is all, be ready for the next chapter people, it gonna get sad as well :). Just some hint.
