Tarin POV

I screamed, running away from my best friend. She caught up to me and tackled me to the ground. The green grass stained my clothes that day, but I couldn't care less.

We burst into a fit of laughter, our eyes meeting for a few seconds before bursting again. I couldn't help but soak in how much I loved every moment with her.

"Hey! Tarin! We're gonna be heroes when we grow up, right?" Zin asked.

"Of course! Just because your parents aren't heroes, doesn't mean you can't be!" I smiled wide.

She smiled, hugging me tight.

Sins Middle School
Zin POV

I looked around, observing my classmates. They wanted to be heroes, everyone did. I wanted to be a hero too, right? Right! I should dream of being a hero, every kid does!

I found my closest friend turned crush, Tarin. She caught me staring and smiled sweetly. I smiled back, both of our faces heating up.

"Just kiss already!" A kid yelled at us.

The class burst into laughter, while me and Tarin only flushed further.

I'll be a hero, for Tarin.

East Card Street
3rd POV

"YOUR PARENTS DON'T CONTROL WHAT YOU DO! I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO BE A HERO?!"

Silence engulfed both sides.

"Of course they don't, the villain side is just so much more fun." Zin smiled gently at her love.

Tarin ran at her, tackling the girl to the concrete ground. Both sides tensed up, readying their weapons and forzas. A fight never came, when the two entangled themselves with each other.

"I love you."

"I love you too Tar."

"What did I do to deserve something as great as you, Zin?"

"Everything."

With a last kiss, one soul became two.

Pines Radio Station
3rd POV

"Just in, the villain Zination and their team were reported to have a hostage. Our team is on the scene, where heroes are currently trying to defuse the situation."

The camera switched, showing a tall building. Windows were shattered and panic echoed in and around.

It took hours for heroes to come out with villains captured. Suddenly, a window shattered as a figure was thrown out.

Another followed soon after.

With a miracle, the second figure caught up to the first and switched their positions. A sickening crack was evident in the ears of all near, on the ground lay a hero and villain.

The hero, Torn, was barely conscious, but more alive than the villain beneath her. Within seconds though, the hero was screaming, having seen who was beneath her.

"ZIN! ZIN, PLEASE! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE, PLEASE!!" The hero sobbed violently, "I LOVE YOU!!"

Ominal Graveyard
3rd POV

Tarin walked slowly to a grave. Smiling sadly, she placed a bouquet of roses on the grave.

"Remember when I gave you a bouquet at our first dance? We wanted to fool the entire school by saying we were dating, so I invited you to the dance. God, you were so pretty." She chuckled.

The breeze answered her.

The hero recited her entire day, sitting cross legged.

"Oh, time to go. See ya tomorrow!" She smirked.

The smile fell, "I love you..." she whispered.

The hero walked off, leaving the graveyard. She'd be there the next day, the day after that, and the day after that.
