"Dude! I'm serious! We don't know what that spell does!" A girl named Darcy shouts at her friend. Darcy had brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin whilst her friend, Kath (kathships9– lol you should follow her) also had brown hair and brown eyes with slightly tan skin and some freckles.
"You are such a little bitch, what is this gonna do? Kill us?" Kath responds sarcastically as she opens up a strange book with a devils trap symbol on it that looked as if it was put on with red spray paint trillions on years ago. The bottom line is, it looked pretty fucking old.
"I mean it could! You don't know what the spells in that book could mean! You could summon an evil ghost for all we know! We might as well play the fucking Ouija Board!"
"Okay, lets go buy an Ouija Board then," Kath chirps with stars in her eyes. Darcy's eyes widen and she groans over dramatically.
"No! I wasn't being serious! Look Kath, just put the book down and let's leave! I don't wanna be involved with that crap!" She whines.
"Why are you so scared? The paranormal is awesome, stop being a baby! Besides, you're the one who suggested coming here. Not me," Kath snaps, opening up the book and reading it to herself softly.
Darcy shrieks, "Kath stop! Put it down and let's leave! It may not be the paranormal if it has a fucking devils trap symbol on it!"
"Are you trying to say what I think you are?" Kath glares at her afraid friend in pure shock. Darcy stays silent and stares at the book in complete horror. Kath walks closer to her and looks down at the book in her hands. "Are you trying to say that if I use a spell in here, it could summon a demon?"
"Please put the fucking book down and let's leave, Kath. Please," Darcy cries out shakily as her hands reach towards the book to throw it out of Kath's hands. Kath, however, jumps back and shakes her head.
"You're being overdramatic. This is probably one of those things you see on Youtube or Google. Like the charlie charlie game, for example. Completely fake and useless. It's not going to work. Right?" Kath smiles at her friend in which her friend slowly smiles back.
"Y-You're right. I'm being overdramatic. Sorry. Yes, it probably is fake but if it is, we shouldn't be wasting our time with it, so lets go?" Darcy nervously gestures towards the backdoor of the haunted building they were in. It was abandoned and as soon as both of the girls first walked in, they immediately found all types of spells, bottles, papers with random languages on it, and etc.
"No! Darcy come on, this could be a fun experience!" Kath assures her friend. Darcy sighs and smiles lightly.
"Fine. We have to hurry up though, my mom is going to be a raging bitch if I'm not home in time for dinner."
"Okay, okay. So which one do you want to do?" Kath questions, opening the book wide and flipping through the pages full of spells. Darcy sighs and stops on page 19, pointing to a spell that was in latin. Kath grins and looks at it closely, even though the whole book was in latin and they couldn't understand a single word. The only way you knew what was a spell was because it was written with quotation marks. "Ready?" Kath asks, excitement piping up in her voice. Darcy sighs and nods lightly, her hands shaking quite a bit. Kath then proceeds to yell out the latino spell, looking up and around the room for any sign of response. The room was eerily quiet and it felt a bit thicker than before. It felt like it was full of people, but it wasn't. Just both of the girls. The silence was starting to frighten Darcy since it wasn't a normal kind of silence. Kath was looking around and was beginning to feel a bit paranoid. Did the spell not work?
"S-See? I told y-you! We s-should go," Darcy whispers and Kath rolls her eyes.
"Maybe we need to repeat it another time for it to work!" She replies, with determination now sketched onto her hopeful and confused face.
"No! I told you this was a bad idea—"
"Bad idea?! Of course it wasn't, sweetheart!" A voice chimes from behind them and both girls scream and whip around to look at whoever was speaking. They didn't see anyone though, they only heard it's movements and it's voice.
"W-What the f-fuck?! W-Who are you?! And w-where are you?!" Darcy stutters with fear in her eyes. Kath just stares in the direction where the voice was with a blank face.
"Ah, don't worry about me, love. You two seem to be much more interesting. I have a question. What are you two doing in here at a time like this?" The voice asks and Kath only continues to stare as Darcy begins to violently shake.
"W-We were just e-exploring! I'm so s-sorry! We w-won't ever do it again!"
"No, no! I'm glad you guys did what you did!" It says and finally, the being steps into view. It was just a normal looking person, a man with brown hair and sky blue eyes. He had a straight face but his eyes looked so tender. He was tan and had lots of freckles, he was also quite buff as well. Darcy became less scared but she was still cautious. Kath on the other hand, looked amazed.
"W-Who are you?" Darcy questions.
The man sighs, "My name is Laurence Zvhal. I'm guessing you both are the girls who used that spell?"
"U-Uhm, I mean we—"
"Yes! That was us!" Kath cuts Darcy off and shouts loudly at Laurence, complete awe in her eyes. Darcy's eyes widen and she looks over at Kath with the 'are you fucking kidding me you stupid bitch' look.
"Why did you summon me?"
"You are the one that spell summons?" Kath interrogates the man. Laurence nods and crosses his arms. He was wearing a leather jacket with a white shirt underneath, ripped black jeans, and boots. His eyes looked so gentle to where it was at the point where Darcy wasn't that afraid anymore.
"Why, yes I am. And thank you for summoning me by the way," He murmurs and lets his arms fall to his sides. He had a very eerie presence that made the girls question who and what he really is.
"Are you an angel?" Darcy asks and right after she asks that, all tenderness leaves his eyes and he smiles, making both of the girl's hearts drop to their stomachs. His smile was twisted. He has a smile that terrified both girls so much, they both screamed. His smile held so much evil and wickedness that it made Darcy burst out into tears.
"That's an insult," He mutters, his voice now sounding demonic and snarky. He laughs loudly, the evil sound of his voice latching onto his laughter. Kath glared at him with terror yet somewhat excitement. He intrigued her. How could a demon look so tender when he first speaks with them? Darcy screams and cries loudly, yanking at her friend's arm. "Oh hush up, I haven't even touched you yet, little baby," He speaks, motioning towards Darcy.
"Yet?" Kath questions and Laurence smirks, his smirk still twisted and evil. Both Darcy and Kath could now smell his scent and practically went pale in a sick way, seeing as his scent smelt as if he had boiled himself in carcass and skeleton remains.
"You're being strange. You're supposed to be screaming and crying like your little bitch of a friend there," Laurence points at Darcy, who was now on her knees begging for mercy, tears streaming down her face. Kath had a few tears rolling down her face and her skin was pale and green just like her friend's but she was acting very casual. Way too casual.
"Well I'm not much of a baby as she is, but you still terrify m-me," Kath admits softly making Laurence burst out into laughter.
"Ha! You're my favorite. Unlike you're little friend here, however. What's her name?" Laurence questions, stepping closer to both girls.
"D-Darcy! I'm D-Darcy! P-Please don't hurt m-me!" Darcy whimpers out. Laurence chuckles and rolls his eyes.
"First off, that sounds like a hooker's name. And second off, I won't have to kill you if you keep crying like that. You'll eventually drown in your own fucking tears. Which would be one hell of a show, let me tell you," Laurence grins and crosses his arms again, turning towards Kath.
"I mean he does kind of have a valid point, you should s-stop crying so much or he'll show n-no mercy," Kath tells her friend, grabbing Darcy's arm and pulling her up. Darcy wipes her tears and shakes violently, more than she ever has before.
"You having a seizure or something?" Laurence questions, furrowing his eyebrows and smiling.
"W-What are y-you going to do to us, Laurence?" Kath stammers out a question.
"I mean depends, wanna start a sleepover or do you guys wanna go to the movies?" He grins and intertwines his hands together in a girly and mocking way. Kath can't help but laugh lightly. "Yes! Finally someone with a sense of fucking humor. Stop crying!" Laurence shouts at Darcy, his voice sounding even more demonic and deep than before. Darcy falls to the ground screaming and sobbing again, causing Laurence to burst out laughing.
"P-Please d-don't h-hurt u-us!" Darcy manages to say between her crying.
"P-PlEaSe d-dOnT h-hUrT u-uS!" Laurence mocks in a high pitched girly voice, before chuckling lightly and staring right into the girls, his eyes suddenly going black. It was such an evil and eerie look, to have his entire eyeballs now pure black. He no longer had his sky blue eyes as before. And then, at that exact moment, he launches at the girls, laughing darkly as he grabs Darcy by her hair and drags her a few feet left, all before suddenly being ripped apart from Darcy and smashed into the concrete floor by a creature he couldn't see.
"Are you okay my love?" A sweet and kind voice murmurs and Laurence could see Darcy being picked up by pale and gentle looking hands. His vision was blurry like hell but he knew that whoever this was, he had to be a creature of some sort. No human being could just hurt a demon by themselves unless they trapped them and exorcised them. Laurence's eyes go back to their normal blue before he groans in a voice so demonic like, standing up and turning around slowly to face the creature. He had blonde luscious curls on his eyes and sparkling ocean eyes, which were filled with love, kindness, and protection. His skin was pale but had a natural rose red tint to them, and he was wearing a white tuxedo with a blue bow tie. Both creatures in the room then make eye contact and Laurence's eyes flash back to black in fear. He immediately knew what the man was, just by his presence. The man was the one thing demons were afraid of the most.
Angels.
"I sense a creature that stinks of hell. Would you girls mind explain why you have that thing in the room?" He asks so gently and the girls explain the whole situation to him, awe in their eyes at the feeling of his presence. Laurence clutches his fists tightly and stands frozen in fear.
"We didn't know that it'd summon him! We just thought it was fake!" Darcy whimpers and the blonde smiles sweetly at her.
"It's quite alright, hon. I'll take care of him. It'll be fine. He won't touch you, alright? Just don't ever mess with stuff like this ever again," The ocean eyed angel caress' both girls' cheeks like a parent would to their newborn baby.
"What are you?" Kath asks, Darcy nods along with her question. Both girls seemed very intrigued by the man. He giggled lightly and suddenly there was a sound of skin ripping and ruffling feathers and HUGE white wings stretched from the blonde's back. "An angel! He's an angel!" Kath screams in excitement and Darcy squeals happily. "What's your name, angel?"
"Garroth Ro'meave."
"Well then, Garroth, kill him!" Darcy cheers to the angel, pointing towards the demon. Laurence makes a sarcastic hurt facial expression.
"Gee, thanks for the love," He sarcastically mutters, looking straight past Kath and the angel, whom he was very terrified of, at Darcy. She falls silent with wide eyes.
"Sweetheart, I'm an angel. I don't kill anything unless they've done something in which I must kill him. I may, however, send him back to the hell pit he has came from."
"Then please do it, and please make sure it doesn't come back again," Darcy whispers, fear in her voice. Laurence can feel his black and dark heart slam into his non existent soul, the thought of having to go back to torture in hell for the rest of eternity (unless someone summons him again of course) making him feel uneasy and very upset.
"N-No, please d-don't! Don't send me back p-please!" Laurence stutters out, his eyes flashing back to it's natural sky blue and Garroth freezes and looks taken aback at Laurence's original eyes.
"Y-You—" He says, pausing and staring right into Laurence's eyes. He walks closer to Laurence and the demon steps back in fear. The room falls silent as both Kath and Darcy watch curiously and intently.
"'You' what?!" Kath calls out in question. Darcy looks at Kath and then back at the two complete opposite creatures.
"You have it." He whispers and it looks as if he has hope in his eyes.
"I-It?" Laurence interrogates, confusion laced through his voice. At this point, the demon now had tears streaming down his face.
"You have humanity in your eyes. You're not too far gone. You're not entirely broken into a damaged and twisted up being after all. I can still save you!" Garroth whispers, before grabbing onto Laurence's face and smiling sweetly at him. And for the first time in a couple hundred thousand years, Laurence felt happy.
"N-No no, I'm a demon. I don't feel anything e-except for evil," Laurence mutters out loud, but he was really talking to himself. Why was he feeling happy?
"What is happening? How does he have humanity in his eyes?" Darcy inquires. Kath only pulls popcorn out of the backpack she had brought with her and opens the bag up, beginning to eat whilst watching the scene unfold. (lmao)
"Demons are awful, awful corrupted creatures," Garroth begins and both girls nod to signal the blonde to continue.
"Hurtful," Laurence says.
"They are heartless and evil. But before they become what they are, they are humans. So Laurence was once just a happy human, like you both. But he must've sinned so terribly in some way when he was a human, that he was banned from heaven and sent to hell when he died. When you're sent to hell, you're tortured endlessly for trillions of years or the rest of eternity. And eventually you lose all of your sanity and all the humanity you have in you, and become unaffected by the torture. You become heartless and dead inside. You become a pure evil and a such twisted creature; A demon. But Laurence, he– he hasn't lost all of his sanity yet. He still has some humanity in him! He still feels the torture he goes through and he still has somewhat of a heart," Garroth explains and Laurence stares at him in shock. He knew about the whole dying and being sent to hell process, but he was shocked to hear that he, Laurence Zvhal still had a bit of humanity left in him.
"So that explains the tenderness in his eyes before he scared the living shit out of us!" Kath chirps.
"So this means...?" Darcy slowly begins to ask, Kath shoves her arm lightly and continues to chomp on her popcorn.
"So this means that I can still save him! I can give him all of the sanity that he has lost back again, I can forgive his awful sins from when he was human, I can take him out of hell and bring him to heaven, and he can become a free and happy angel, like me. He won't have to suffer torture anymore," Garroth whispers, smiling at Laurence. Laurence blushes and tears begin to silently stroll down his cheeks, his heart beginning to dance slightly at the thought of not having to suffer anymore. And of course, at the thought of being able to spend the rest of eternity with this beautiful angel named Garroth Ro'meave.
"So then save him!" Kath and Darcy squeal in unison, watching this magical scene untangle itself. The room falls silent before a loud ring begins to sound through the room, an ear piercing ring that made Kath and Darcy look around in confusion. Garroth's wings then began to stretch out to their full size, filling up the entire building. They ruffle and a few white feathers fall before they swing back in forth as if Garroth was flying through the air. Both the demon and the angel look into each other's eyes, both getting lost into the blueness of each. Garroth giggles and blushes a bit, causing Laurence to grin and place his hands over Garroth's hands, which were cupping his tan and tear covered cheeks. And so, Garroth connects their lips together. He smiles as the taste of fire in Laurence's mouth slowly changes into the taste of cotton candy. Laurence grabs onto Garroth's blonde curls with one hand and wraps his other around Garroth's waist, pulling him even closer than they already were if it was possible. Garroth only wrapped his arms tightly around Laurence's neck, his heart beginning to speed up as he feels the feeling to evil escaping Laurence slowly.
"This is disturbing," Darcy says.
"You're disturbing you trick ass bitch," Kath snaps in reply whilst not taking her eyes off the kissing men, chomping on her popcorn with stars in her eyes. Laurence takes the hand in Garroth's hair and uses it to reach out and run it through the feathers of the angel's white and fluffy wing, causing Garroth to moan lightly and lean in to the kiss more. Garroth places his hand on Laurence's chest and pushes it roughly, pulling apart from the kiss and watching as black smoke exits through Laurence's mouth. "Holy shit this is awesome—"
"Kath shut up," Darcy whisper/shouts. After all the black smoke leaves Laurence's mouth, the brunette falls to the ground coughing.
"Laurence, are you alright?" Garroth asks with concern. The sky blue eyed brunette looks back up at Garroth and both girls gasp at how his eyes looked much more human, and not at all evil.
"I'm perfectly fine. Amazing, in fact. Thank you for everything, my angel," Laurence smiles softly before leaning close and kissing Garroth once again. Darcy and Kath sigh with grins on their faces. Laurence no longer had his twisted and wicked grin, the same grin that had Darcy screaming and crying only a few moments ago. And both girls were glad that they messed with that spell book. And they were glad that they'd met that demon.
The demon named Laurence.
