"A Soft Aqua."

lol enjoy

"Fuck you," Laurence spits, looking at the man who he has pinned against a college dorm door with rage. He had venom in his voice and his usual icy blue eyes were now shadowed over with a dull, gray color, one that made him look stone-cold. It was frightening, knowing the reason Laurence had this guy pinned against the random dorm door.

"Who the fuck do you think you're talk to?" The blonde man hisses back, his wrists unfolding from Laurence's hands quickly, and his knee slamming into Laurence's left ribcage. That caused Laurence to shove himself away to take in the pain for a bit, grunting as he clutched his plain green t-shirt, right where the blonde guy had kneed him. He took steady breaths, trying his best not to just tackle the guy and beat the life out of him, but he still had a gut-feeling that this would end badly. He stood up straight and walked back over to the guy, his eyes turning even colder if it was possible. But the blonde boy's eyes stayed a soft aqua color.

Why did they stay a soft aqua?

"I'm talking to you, and I'm talking to you to your face, which is something you obviously don't do," Laurence had anger built up in his heart, which seemed to shoot out into his vocal chords and let out a dangerous tone in his voice.

"Dude, what's your problem?!" The guy groans, leaning over to pick up his books from the floor. Laurence bent down swiftly and snatched both of his wrists, pulling him up and slamming him back on the ground, on the other side; away from his books. The boy groaned in pain and grabbed onto his elbow. Looks like Laurence damaged his elbow when he sent him to the ground.

"My problem is you. I heard what you did to my sister, and I'm not gonna tolerate that shit. That's my fucking sister. How dare you even speak her name or step towards her, you ass—"

"I don't even know who your sister is, you fucking idio—" That earned the blonde a kick the the stomach. The blonde cried out and gagged a bit, grabbing onto Laurence's leg. "Listen, man, I didn't talk about anyone, I—"

"Bullshit!" Laurence shouts, fury radiating off of his tense body as his hands reached down and picked the boy up. He slammed the boy against the wall and screamed in his face, "Why Cadenza?! Why would you do that to her?! She is such a good girl, and as much as it pains me to say this, she's both smarter and better than me at everything, and a girl like her doesn't deserve what you did to her!"

"WHO IS CADENZA?"

One punch to the face.

"Stop fucking with me! We both know what I'm talking about, so stop being a little bitch and let's get this shit over with!" Laurence screams as his hands tighten around the blonde's shoulders.

"Please listen to me, I have no idea what you're ta—"

Two punches to the face by Laurence.

"Just come clean and admit what you fucking did! She told me everything!"

"Dude please listen to me, I don't wanna hurt you! You've got the wrong per—" The blonde keeps trying to talk but only gets cut off by the furious brunette that has his pinned to the wall.

"You? Hurt me? You think you- wait hold on- you ser-seriously think that you can do some damage?" Laurence mutters lowly, his face dangerously close to the shorter boy's.

Laurence had to pretend he didn't see the boy's soft aqua eyes shoot downwards to look at his lips.

"Don't underestimate me, man. Please, I just don't want a fight to break out here," The short man whispers, his eyes slowly looking back up from Laurence's lips to Laurence's eyes, which still looked extremely empty and cold.

"Oh please you can kiss my ass," Laurence growls before sending the boy to the ground again, beginning to beat the soul out of his body. The boy was yelling out at every punch and kick Laurence gave him. But Laurence's rage still wasn't going away. But he had to pause for a moment in surprise when the boy rolled away from a kick that Laurence was about to give him and shot himself up to face the angry brunette.

"No, you can kiss mine," And with that, the boy throws a hard punch to Laurence's face, striking right in the nose. He then continues to forcefully punch Laurence's face, going back and forth, right cheek to left, without stopping. All Laurence knew at that moment, was that by the way this boy was punching, kneeing, and kicking him, he was a majorly skilled fighter. Laurence took the punches and kicks for a few minutes, still trying to comprehend what was happening, before beginning to fight back. Soon, they were in a full blown fight, tackling each other, smashing each other's head into the walls and floors, and punching each other's bodies until their hands began to bruise and bloody up. The blonde boy sent a punch to Laurence's nose, which triggered a nose bleed and a bone to break. Laurence cries out in pain, but sends a punch to the guy's already hurt elbow nonetheless. This continued on for a couple of more minutes, which felt like hours to the two boys, until familiar voices started screaming from down the hall and there were what seemed like thousands of footsteps running towards them. Hands and arms wrapped around both boys, pulling them apart very quickly. A bunch of bodies shoved themselves in between the two boys to stop them from fighting anymore, even though they knew they'd possibly get hit with the way Laurence was still raging.

The blonde boy however, just stopped screaming once he was pulled away, and easily shut his mouth, picking up his books and walking off without a word.

Laurence yelled a few extremely hurtful and inappropriate words at the blonde, but the guy seemed the be unaffected as he limped away, down the hall. Then Cadenza ran into Laurence's view, which shut him immediately up so he could talk to her instead of shouting. "Laurence what the fuck was that?! Why are you fighting him?!" Cadenza screamed, tears streaming down her now wet and freckled cheeks, smudging her makeup.

"What the fu— he deserved that shit! He can't just do what he did to you and get away with it!" Laurence screamed in return.

"Laurence, that wasn't him! That was Evan, the guy in your science class!" She cried out and Laurence immediately felt his heart stop.

"I thought y-you said you didn't know his name? A-And you pointed at him when you showed me who did it?" The beat up brunette huskily murmurs in question. Cadenza shakes her head very fast, crying harder.

"I didn't, but I found it afterwards! And I wasn't pointing at him! You must've thought I was, but I wasn't!" She screams, her pale hands covering her face as her shoulders bounced up and down violently, signaling to Laurence that she was silently bawling her eyes out. Laurence let out a guilty and sad sigh, wrapped his bruised and bloody arms around Cadenza softly. He cringed at his own blood from his nosebleed that was resting on his arm, but ignored it and comforted his sobbing sister.

"I'm sorry, Caddie. I really am, I just— I wasn't thinking and I was just so angry about what the Evan kid did to you so I made a mistake and thought that it was—" Laurence begins, before Cadenza cuts him off.

"Laurence, you have to stop getting into fights! Yeah, people are scared of you, but not everyone is. You're not invincible, that guy could've badly hurt you, you're lucky that he's humble enough to walk away without doing any more harm!" Travis, one of Laurence's best friends, shouted. His breathing was heavy and his pale hands were tied into his white hair.

"Travis, relax. Let's just be grateful that Laurence isn't that injured and not lecture him to no end," Katelyn whispers. She turns to Laurence with a kind smile, her blue curls bouncing right over her shoulder. "But, he is right, Laurence. You could've gotten badly injured. I mean, you were up against the oldest Ro'meave for god's sake. You're lucky that you're not in the E.R!" Katelyn calmly tells him. Laurence sighs and nods.

"So much for not lecturing, huh?" Travis sarcastically mutters, earning a slap on the back of the head by Dante, who was both Travis and Laurence's other best friend.

"Listen, I know, I was wrong. But I am suffering extreme pain right now, and I need to get back to my dorm before I faint due to blood loss!" Laurence quickly snaps, panic on his face as he felt himself beginning to get light-headed and nauseous. The group of friends nod and help Laurence back to his dorm, quickly walking him over to his bed and sitting him down on it. His dorm roommate, Jeffory, looking at Laurence with wide eyes. Katelyn pulls Cadenza out the dorm room to comfort her, and Dante and Travis go out to get stuff to help Laurence with. Silence takes over the dorm room as Jeffory examines Laurence's state.

"Is there a fight video?" He asks. Laurence bursts out laughing, but ends up coughing his ass off and groaning while rubbing his chest.

"Nah, man, it was a fight in an empty hallway. All of them found us at the end and immediately separated us," Laurence explains, coughing some nasty ass mucus into the trash can beside his bed. Jeffory whistles in shock and it goes back to silence for about 10 full seconds. Jeffory's eyebrows furrow as he begins to examine Laurence's state once again. Laurence's takes off his shirt to changed into another one, one that wasn't covered in blood. Both him and Jeffory gasp. His chest was covered in awful and painful looking bruises, and the blood had gone through his t-shirt and onto his bare chest.

"Jesus christ, dude, you have blood on your arms, painful looking bruises on your whole body, cut up knuckles, a bloody and what looks like a broken nose, and a beat up face. You fight a Ro'meave or something?" Jeffory frets and Laurence looks back up at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"Katelyn says I did. I had no idea the dude I fought was a Ro'meave. So yeah, I did I guess."

"You fought a Ro'meave?! Which one?!" Jeffory screeches.

"Didn't I just say that I didn't know who the guy was? I don't know his name. And there's more than one?"

"Yes, there's more than one! And once his brother's find out what happened and find out who you are, you're gonna be in big trouble! We have to keep you hidden like hell, bud. What color was the guy you fought's hair?" Laurence's dorm roommate pushes the conversation.

"Well damn. Uh- his hair was blonde and he was—"

"GARROTH?!" Jeffory screams, jumping off his bed and hurrying over to Laurence. "YOU FOUGHT GARROTH FUCKING RO'MEAVE?!"

"Agh, fuck! Stop yelling!" Laurence groans, rubbing his head roughly, trying to ease his headache.

"S-Sorry, sorry, I just— Garroh Ro'meave?! How are you even alive? How are you even here and not in the hospital?!"

"I don't know what you mean! What, is this dude like a friggin' WWE wrestler or something?" The beat up brunette questions.

"No! Look— . The Ro'meaves are the most well known and famous family in all of Phoenix Drop! They were raised in the bad side of town and witnessed their mother die in a drive by shooting when they were only young toddlers and babies. Garroth had been jumped by 3 grown men at 16 years old, and him and his two younger brothers have grown up to be dangerous fighters. They know what to do, when and where. They're so good that they might as well be WWE wrestlers. Hell, Garroth and his brothers beat up a 43 year old prisoner! The bottom line is, that the Ro'meave brothers are very dangerous to fight and if you do fight them, you'll no doubt end up in the hospital."

"Well god-fucking-damn I'm fucking screwed!" Laurence curses, his hands covering his face in defeat.

"Well I mean, you might not be."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Garroth is the more calm Ro'meave. He doesn't like to fight people and he hasn't gotten into a huge fight since the month before his high school graduation. It seems to me that Garroth went easy on you," Jeffory explains carefully.

"But why?! I was an asshole to him!" Laurence complains, his heart cracking at the thought.

"I don't know! This is all new to me!" Then, just as Jeffory sat back down on his bed with confusion laced on his face, Travis and Dante walked back into the dorm with a big ass backpacks on their shoulders. Laurence hadn't even realized how long him and his roommate had been talking. They set the backpacks down and open them up, pulling out a bunch of shit to help Laurence with.

"Where's Katelyn and Cadenza?" Laurence interrogates his best friends.

"Katelyn took Cadenza back to her dorm so they could relax and watch a movie or whatever to help Cadenza feel better and stop crying," Dante assures Laurence.

"Or whatever to help Cadenza stop crying," Travis repeats, wiggling his eyebrows playfully with a stupid smirk on his face. All the boys in the dorm start crying out into a thunderous roar of laughter, the sound of their laughter bouncing and booming off the tan and poster-covered walls.

"I ship it?" Dante says in a questioning tone as a joke, making Laurence chuckle.

"Nah, I'm pretty sure Cad's straight. Though I did happen to catch Kawaii~Chan trying to get a piece of Katelyn's cake yesterday in class," He jokes, making the boys begin laughing again. Another hour passes by after more jokes and all the guys cracking up and snickering in the dorm, and Laurence is now taken cared on. He has bandages all over his bruised body and gauzes shoved up his nostrils. Though, he still has to go to the doctor for his broken nose. Now here we are, Laurence and Travis sitting on Laurence's bed as Jeffory and Dante sit on Jeffory's bed. Laurence was rubbing vaseline onto his cut and swollen lips whilst Travis laughed at the way Laurence put on vaseline.

"Well, now that you're all taken cared of, no more fights. Got it? We all care about you and don't want you to get badly hurt like this again, god forbid worse," Dante states strictly and Laurence sighs with a thankful smile, nodding his head.

"Yeah. No more fights. I promise," The bandaged brunette replies. After that, Travis and Dante say their goodbyes and head off to their dorms. Jeffory says his goodbye as well, telling Laurence that he was going to go to his girlfriend's dorm. His girlfriend just so happened to be Katelyn, but Laurence was cool with it, seeing as how Cadenza sent him a text saying that she was already back at her dorm, safe-and-sound.

The sun quickly set, and Laurence found himself going to sleep in extreme pain. But he didn't find himself going to sleep in just physical pain, but mental pain as well.

The memory and though of him putting his hands on an innocent and quite cute blonde boy shattered his overwhelmed heart.

The next morning however, Laurence woke up an hour early, which meant he got time to get dressed and head down to breakfast hall. They served breakfast in breakfast hall for college students, just to make their lives a bit easier. Laurence usually never got breakfast at breakfast hall, but since it was an hour before his first class began and he was starving, he decided to go. He took an extremely quick shower, yet was still careful with his body bruises and the cuts on his knuckles. He gets dressed after applying new bandages on his body, and heads out of his dorm, to the breakfast hall. He was surprised when he saw a few of his friends sitting at a table, laughing and smiling. He walked over to them and plopped down next to them and they cheered.

"Laurence! Didn't expect to see you in breakfast hall! Especially with the state you're in!" One of Laurence's good friends, Aphmau gushes. Laurence shrugs with an awkward smile.

"My stomach needs food to digest. I don't need to have another stomach problem worse than what that kid's punch gave me," He replies. Aphmau giggles with a nod.

"Speaking of the kid you fought, I heard it was a Ro'meave. Which Ro'meave was it?" Another one of Laurence's good friends, Gene questions.

Laurence sighs with a frown remembering what Jeffory had told him the night before, "Garroth."

Beside him, their friend Aaron spits out his drink in shock, and starts to slightly cough. "You fought Garroth?! Are you okay?!"

"I'm fine. Actually it was a huge misunderstanding. I thought he was somebody else. But he didn't hurt me badly, he could've done a lot worse as Jeffory says," Laurence murmurs. Aaron chuckles with a nod.

"Yeah, he could've done a whole lot worse. You're a lucky one, ma—"

"Laurence," Cadenza's familiar voice blurts out, stopping Aaron mid-sentence. The latino turns in his chair to face his sister.

"¿Qué quieres, Cadenza?" He smiles.

"Garroth is here in breakfast hall. I suggest you go apologize to him," She spits in a demanding tone.

"But I don't think he's gonna wanna talk to me after what I did!" Laurence whimpers, his now alert eyes scanning the large room.

"Go apologize to him, Laurence," She commands, walking away afterwards to leave Laurence to it. He frowns in confusion. He didn't see Garroth anywhere. That is, until he saw the blonde limp into the room with a bright smile on his face. He had a cast on his arm, specifically for his elbow, and he was wearing a jock jacket. Holy shit, he was a jock. He played on the college's football team. Laurence felt himself shrink. How could anyone even tolerate him? Here he was, a trouble making bad boy, one who wears leather jackets and rides motorcycles, all beat up and cowering away from the man he fought just yesterday. Garroth Ro'meave. The guy who was a popular college jock and had many friends. The guy was was sweet and humorous, the one that probably drove a fancy and cool car and that everyone genuinely liked. 'Fuck,' he thought, 'I can't do this' . But it was when Aaron patted his back reassuringly, that Laurence got up and approached the Ro'meave. Garroth was surrounded by a bunch of his friends. They were all also wearing jock jackets, except two of them. Garroth locked eyes with Laurence and his smile immediately dropped and his expression changed. Laurence's eyes widened in disbelief. Not because of the way his smile immediately dropped, or the way his expression changed, but because of what his expression changed into.

Garroth urged his friends to go sit at their table and start eating, in which they obeyed, and did just that.

"H-Hi. It's G-Garroth.. right?" Laurence stammers questioningly. The blonde nods, his expression still put on his face. Laurence had to hold his heart back from jumping out of his chest. His expression wasn't anger, or disgust. And it wasn't suspicion either.

It was concern.
Garroth Ro'meave was concerned about him. He was worried for him.

"Look, Garroth, I-I'm extremely sorry for what I did. It tears me up and I should've made sure I w-wasn't hurting the wrong guy. I-I should've let you t-talk but instead I let my rage get to my head and I hurt us both. I'm really sorry," Laurence Zvhal apologizes with a genuine smile. A smile of regret and guilt.

The Ro'meave chuckles lightly with a small rose red blush at his cheeks, "I didn't hurt you too bad, did I?"

"You broke my nose, but I guess I deserve it after breaking your elbow and starting this whole mess," Laur sighs. Garroth giggles.

"Hey, I found it really awesome that you were sticking up for your sister. And I'm sure that whoever hurt her is gonna get bit in the ass by karma eventually because of it. And I forgive you," He whispers. The rose red color on his beautifully carved out cheekbones spread to the tip of his perfectly shaped nose.

"Wha- wait, seriously? You just forgive me? Just like that?"

"Yes, of course. I can tell you're really sorry for what you did. And plus, you actually seem like a sweet guy. And you're not exactly bad looking. Even when your face is beaten up," Garroth compliments with a flirtatious tone in his voice. Laurence smiles. He could not believe what he was hearing. Garroth Ro'meave. One of the most dangerous yet calm boys in all of Phoenix Drop forgave him. The same boy that he had beat up the day before. And he still had those soft aqua eyes that held happiness.

And once again, Laurence had to pretend he didn't see those eyes glance down at his lips. And he had to pretend he didn't do the same.

But he didn't even try to hide that huge smile on his face, either.
