TeenWolf - Lure//Derek

"Song Bird. That's a bit generic isn't it?" He asked in a raised voice, trying to be heard over the pounding music as he sipped his beer.

"I don't know, I like it. They call me Song Bird, cause I can mimic just about anyone's voice!" She explained loudly as she rested an arm against the bar and leant in close so they could hear each other.

"Really? Anyone's?" Derek asked as he bent towards her, inching his fingers across the bar, bringing them a hairs breath from the performer's, a sly grin on his lips, one that showed his pearly canines on one side. She glanced from his hand to his bright hazel eyes, the lights of the club reflecting in his irises. She leant closer again, her lips near touching the shell of his ear. Her tone dropped several octaves, and Derek could've sworn she sounded, almost like his passed father.

"Male's are harder. Your's for example." He rose his brows, impressed and surprised. It was awfully close, but not quite there. She sat back and held her hand out, palm down as she tilted it side to side, lifting her glass to her lips with the other.

"That was pretty good." He complimented, downing his own drink as he kept eye contact. She was certainly stunning, perhaps the most seductive and alluring woman he'd ever seen.

Her skin was sun kissed, her eyes the most prominent and rich emerald green, almost unnatural, her lips were bowed and full, and her lashes thick and dark, not a blemish or spot on her skin. Her hair was a deep consistent chestnut and fell in waves down her back, brushing her slim waist. She was probably around 5ft4 but wore heels at least four inches tall, and her wine red dress clung to her in a sinful way. She was unreal, like she'd stepped out of every man's darkest fantasy.

She glanced up at him through the side of her lashes, a stray curl falling over her bare shoulder. Derek watched it move, before flicking his eyes up to meet her's. She turned to face him fully, placing a hand on his knee, she leant forward over his shoulder, as she spoke next to his ear.

"You wanna go see something cool?" She asked lowly, and if not for his werewolf hearing, he'd surely have missed it. He thanked whoever was up there for it.

"They fought for almost two years in court to stop this place being torn down after a boy drowned. By the time they decided it should be closed, they'd pretty much given up on it, and no one ever came to drain it." Derek shut his car door as he stared up at the large one story building. There were no fences around it, but there were signs stating trespassers would be prosecuted, and the doors and windows were all boarded up with wooden planks. They crossed the abandoned car park, nothing but trees beyond the lot. It was only a little out of the way, but there was nothing else out here, a terrible choice of location if you ask him.

She stopped to lean a hand on Derek's shoulder, lifting one leg at a time to remove her heels, letting them dangle from her free hand.

"Come on." And stupidly he followed her to the boarded front doors. She yanked on the edge of one of the boards and Derek rose a brow in apprehension, only to be surprised when it pulled the door open, his second brow rising to meet the other. The boards were an illusion, each plank only attached to one door or the other, each piece slotted together to give the appearance of a boarded wall. Without comment the two entered the abandoned indoor pool, guided by the moon.

"I found it one day while out on a ride through the reserve, it backs onto the woods." She dropped her shoes by the entrance as the door swung shut behind the pair.

"I've kept it clean and, made a few adjustments." As she stepped away from him, he watched as she reached out to pull a large lever bolted into the wall. There was a low whirring sound and a few sputters he was sure only he could hear, before a quiet buzzing filled the air and the room lit up in an array of moving colours.

Derek's eyes widened and his jaw dropped slightly as he watched softly coloured lights beneath the water paint waving patterns all over the hall.

"Cool isn't it?" Derek glanced back to match her grin.

"It's incredible." He turned back to the pool walking forward to take in the whole room, and looking up through the glass ceiling at the full moon completely visible and on display.

He jerked as he was violently shoved forward, tripping and tipping into the clear pool water bellow. He spluttered as he surfaced, quickly trying to regain his bearings. He turned in the water but she was gone. He trod the water as he turned in circles, she was nowhere to be seen, not even with his werewolf vision capable of peering through the shadows.

Something clawed gripped his ankle and he was sharply tugged back under the surface. He writhed and looked down only to find a scaley glowing eyed version of the women he'd so stupidly followed into the middle of nowhere. He'd even driven them there! She released his leg and in a swish of tiny bubbles and green, she swam passed him coiling around his sinking form, a long deeply green tail slinking behind her where her legs had been. Derek kicked off the bottom and raced to the surface, bursting from the water and deeply inhaling much needed oxygen. He looked down, but couldn't see her, so spun in a circle, panic and rage filling him. He needed to get out of the water. He began to paddle towards the edge of the pool, but there was a splash and an inhuman hiss behind him.

He was once again yanked bellow the surface, but he was done playing games. He kicked out and let his claws protrude, reaching down to swipe at it. If the painfully loud screech he heard was any indication, he'd struck home. Red clouded the water behind him, and he once again pushed to the surface, swiftly swimming to the edge of the pool. Bracing his hands, he hauled himself from the water, but it had recovered, and dug its own claws deeply into his back, dragging him down. He let his claws dig into the tiles as they cracked underneath his fingers and he found purchase in the cement beneath.

The creature gave another screech, but he shook it off and kicked back, quickly hauling himself completely out of the water, and rolling on his side to put some distance between himself and the beast. As Derek panted and rose on his elbows, the creatures head lifted above the edge of the pool, its face was much the same, alluring, and deadly. Her hair had become several shades darker, almost black, and sparsely climbing scales like that of a fish, covered her neck and jaw, her eyes glowing a bright green, as she spotted him with a steel glare. It opened her plump bowed lips to reveal two rows of pointed, needle-like teeth, and hissed as him. He froze in shock as it rose webbed, green tinged hands from the water, claw like fingers digging into the floor and breaking the tiles as it heaved its long winding body from the pool. Derek's eyes widened as it revealed more of its scaly form. A long, at least six foot tail, extended from its hips where her legs had been, and it was covered in small, tight knitt, bogg green scales, long thin, spines extending from the curves of it.

Derek suddenly glanced up, feeling a familiar pull. The full moon rained an eery, yet comforting glow down through the glass ceiling. Slowly tilting his head down to look back at the creature his face hardened, even as its tail receded, shrinking back up until feet became visible and the scales split up the middle. She pushed up on her hands and knees, glaring back at him.

That's when Derek let go, fully wolfing out his eyes glowed bright red, and he let out a roar so loud and powerful the glass ceiling shook and vibrated. When he finished and finally looked back down, the creatures was completely gone, and in its place was the beautiful woman he'd spent the better part of the evening chatting up. She was curled up, her knees against her naked chest, her arms wrapped tightly around them as she cowered away from him, shaking and dripping wet. She glanced up at him through her damp auburn hair, eyes wide in shock and fear.

"What are you?" She stuttered out.

"I'm the Alpha. What're you?"
