Avengers-The Fire Alien

Roger when he's nice in Season 4, episode 9 of American Dad and it literally kills him. Well that moment when his eye pops out has inspired this. Ps, she has an accent(idk Y, but I think of it as Russian-ish), pink tinted skin, lava in place of blood, the whites of her eyes are black and her irises red, her hair red, yellow and orange, and can catch on, and turn into fire. She can control and manifest fire.

As I pealed off my sweat soaked clothing, I mentally cursed the day I came to Earth a year ago. I had caught an Earth virus, the Flu, Bruce Banner had called it.

"Damn these human germs." I muttered to myself as I turned on the shower and let the scalding water run over me as my skin hissed. My home planet was always hot and and dry, with temperatures never dropping bellow 70° degrees Celsius. It was why my skin was heat and fire retardant, and why I never took the Avengers missions in the colder places. Despite my home world, sweat was a new concept for me, and it was shaping up to be a shitty one. I'd been in a shivering cold sweat all night.

I washed my body and hugged myself as I let the boiling water run over me, warming my skin, but not enough to keep the chill of the air off. I stepped out of the shower and grabbed my towel quickly, wrapping it around my body as the cold air bit at my skin. I grimaced at my reflection in the mirror. My skin was lined with veins of flowing lava, visible beneath its pinkish tinted surface, yet they were much slower and harder to see. It was the sickness for sure. My eyes, black with red irises and pupils were hooded in exhaustion.

Goose pimples rose on my skin as I dressed in long pants and a long sleeve t-shirt, pulling on woolly socks before dragging one of Bucky's jumpers over my head. He'd let me borrow it a couple missions ago and he was never getting it back. It's larger size made me feel more comfortable and cosy, plus it smelt nice. Not that I could enjoy that now with my blocked nose.

I grabbed a handful of tissues as I exited my room, shoving them in my pockets as I made my way into the shared living area of the Avengers Compound. I blew my nose harshly to clear it, burning the used tissue with a spark in the palm of my hand.

"How're you feeling?" Bruce asked kindly as I waddled into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. I lulled my head to the side to look at him through hooded eyes.

"Like the rear end of a Cherufe." I said as I tipped three spoonfuls of coffee beans into my mug. Holding my hand agaisnt the kettle to boil the water in seconds, I poured it into my mug and moved to the table.

Natasha, Steve, Sam and Bucky were all sitting around the table. Dressed, and eating breakfast with their coffee's and tea. Undoubtedly they'd all been up for hours already, having gone for morning runs like the healthy people they were.

"What's a Cherufe?" Tony asked as he entered the kitchen looking a mess, mug in hand. He'd clearly pulled another all-nighter, working on whatever his latest project was.

"Big creature, live inside volcano." I explained half-hazardly as I plonked down between Natasha and Bucky. I felt a tickle in the back of my nose and pulled one of my many tissues to my nose in time to sneeze. I burnt the tissue in another little flame in my hand.

"Bless you." Said Steve.

"You lucky you can't get ill." I said as I pointed between Steve and Bucky. I gulped down more of my boiling, black coffee and sniffed unladylike. Nat sent me a pitying smile as she shuffled her chair away from mine, not wanting to catch my cold. I huffed, and would've rolled my eyes, if the action didn't make my brain spin and my head hurt. I flopped my head onto Bucky's shoulder before rubbing my nose again with another tissue.

"You'll feel better soon, I'm sure of it." Steve said kindly as he smiled softly at me from across the table. Bucky pat my head enduringly as my eyes slowly blinked.

"On the bright side. Your naturally high running temperature should help you burn through the virus much faster." Bruce commented as he joined us at the table. I sat back up slowly, to avoid my head spinning.

"Yes, I feel very lucky." I shot back as my nose tingled again and I sat up straighter, grabbing a tissue. As I sneezed my hair singed and little flames licked off the ends as Nat and Bucky jumped back to avoid catching fire. Unfortunately, at the same time, my loose, left eye, popped right out of it's socket.

"Jesus Christ!" Tony shouted in disgust and shock as they all stared in horror at my dangling eye. I sighed as I burnt my tissue and gently cupped my hanging eyeball. I pushed it back towards the socket and tucked the veins and tendons back inside before tilting my head back and using my free hand to pry my eyelids far enough apart to push my ebony black, eyeball back in place.

I blinked a few times as it situated itself properly before lowering my head again to drink more of my coffee.

"What the hell was that?" Natasha asked in bewilderment and disgust as everyone stared at me. I looked around in confusion, my left eye lagging a second before finally keeping up.

"Oh the eye?" I asked suddenly realising why they'd made a fuss.

"It was dislodge during a fight with a Fire Giant back on my home planet. Now if I get hit over head to hard, or, apparently, sneeze, it just, pop' out." I explained casually as I downed the last of my coffee before it could cool down.

"It just, pops, out?" Tony said as he stared at me in disgusted disbelief. "That's horrifying!" He yelled in exaggeration as he threw up his hands. Beside me, Bucky burst into laughter. I raised a brow at him as I sniffed again.

"Sorry. It's just, Tony's so horrified, and you think it's nothing. You're so cute." Bucky said as he continued to chuckle, combing a hand threw my hair as I rested my head on his shoulder again with a smile.
