You Shouldn't Love Me {Boyf Riends}
(Michael's POV)
I sat up in his bed. Next to Rich. Both of our clothes on the floor. "Shit... no, no, no.." I mumbled. I fumbled getting my clothes on and hit my foot against the bedpost. "Shit!" I say all to loudly, making Rich stir slightly.
He groggily examined me and pulled me down to his level. "Come on baby~ give me a lil more time with you~" he whispered then smashed our lips together. My eyes stayed open the whole kiss.
I left him without saying anything.
(Jeremy's POV)
Michael and I hadn't seen each other since yesterday morning, which was completely fine by me. Not like anything drastic could've happened, yeah? Besides, I wouldn't have had time to set up our perfect date. The date where I tell him how I feel deep down. Just three simple words.
It was about 7 and I was picking him up at 7:30. I tried to fix my hair but my hands were sweaty and it didn't quite work out, so I just brushed down the curls.
I got in the car and squeezed the wheel all the way there. Boy was I nervous. Maybe Rich could calm my nerves down? No, he was having problems with Jake and I'd hate to bother him more.
Finally, when I got to Michael's house, I walked up to the door with a bouquet of his favorite flowers. Hibiscus. Even though they make me sneeze, I got them for him anyway.
"Thank you, sweetheart!" he smiled brightly and hugged me tightly when the door opened. "I'll go put these in a vase so we don't have to take them with us, then you won't be too sneezy "
I giggled as he ran off. When he came back we got in the car and he held my held.
"Okay.. where too?" he asked and looked out the window.
"It's a surprise~" I teased And he faked a pout.
We listened to music in a nice silence the whole car ride, and eventually arrived at the park where we'd first met. There was a perfect picnic set up by Christine, and it had a beautiful view of the night sky. Perfect.
I got out and gestured to the set-up, smiling brightly. "D-do you like it?"
"I love it, Jeremy," he said and kissed me, making my heart flutter like it always does.
(3rd Person)
Jeremy paused after he pulled away from the kiss. He looked deep into Michael's eyes and saw everything he'd fallen for. "I love you.."
Michael moved a little farther from Jeremy. He felt his guilt flooding in, making his expression unreadable to Jeremy.
"I. Love. You." Jeremy repeated and looked to Michael. But Michael was crying all of a sudden. Bawling. On the verge of sobbing.
Jeremy pulled him in for a hug but Michael pushed Jeremy away. Michael was filled with rage and pity and regret and couldn't process anything.
"Micha.. What's wrong?" Jeremy's tone was filled with hurt but he tried to push it down.
Michael took a deep breathe and said in one breath, "You shouldn't love me. Not anymore. I'm the most terrible person ever. You need to break up with me."
"B-but I do, Micha. I love you more than anything in this world." Jeremy hugged Michael tightly. "What is it, sweetheart? Talk to me.. please."
"No!" Michael had snapped. "You will not love me! You know why? Because I-" he hesitated and pushed Jeremy off of him again. "I slept with Rich," he said, barely audible.
"You what? Mikey, whatever it is we can fi-"
"I slept with Rich!" Michael yelled through tears. "Now, go! Don't waste any more time!" Michael pushed Jeremy toward his car. Then he ran off into the darkness of the park.
