a shot of 2 boys at a college party what could go wrong
--------------------------------------------------------
Jungwon's Pov
I received a call from Niki, who informed me that he, Sunoo, Jake, and Heeseung are planning to attend a college party. As much as I would love to join them, I find myself lacking appropriate attire and the motivation to go out. Honestly, I'd much prefer to stay in and indulge in a Netflix series rather than venture out into the night.
Out of nowhere, Niki burst into my house uninvited, declaring, "You're going to that party, and don't even try the 'I don't have anything to wear' excuse! I brought Sunoo—my loyal boyfriend—with me." I sighed, knowing that this pouty little puma's boyfriend can be quite intimidating, and I decided to let him win this time.
After twenty minutes of rummaging through my wardrobe for the perfect outfit, followed by fifteen minutes of hair styling, and a full hype session to get me in the party mood, I finally felt ready to step out into the night.
Once we arrived at the party, the pulsating music enveloped us, and the energy was electric. Niki led the way, his confidence radiating as he effortlessly mingled with friends. Sunoo, ever the supportive boyfriend, stayed close by my side, offering encouraging smiles and playful nudges, reminding me to loosen up.
As we made our way through the crowded room, I spotted familiar faces—Jake and Heeseung were deep in conversation, their laughter cutting through the music. They waved us over, and I felt a rush of excitement mixed with nervousness. I hadn't been to a party in ages, and suddenly, I was acutely aware of my surroundings: the vibrant decorations, the dancing bodies, the intoxicating aroma of snacks wafting through the air.
Sunoo nudged me again, urging me to join the conversation. I took a deep breath and walked over, feeling a sense of belonging wash over me as I joined the lively banter. We discussed everything from college classes to the latest shows, and with each passing moment, I found myself relaxing, allowing the worries that had held me back to fade away.
Just as I started to enjoy myself, Niki pulled me aside, a mischievous grin on his face. "I have a surprise for you," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "We're doing a dance-off in a few minutes, and I think you'd be amazing!"
"A dance-off?" I echoed, my heart racing. I wasn't exactly a dancer, but the challenge intrigued me. The thought of strutting my stuff in front of everyone was daunting, yet exhilarating.
"Don't worry! Just have fun and let loose," he reassured me, clapping a hand on my shoulder. "Trust me, it's going to be epic!"
With a mix of anticipation and nerves, I agreed to join. As the music shifted to an upbeat tempo, the crowd gathered around the makeshift dance floor, cheers erupting as the first contestants took the stage. I watched, laughing and cheering for my friends, until it was finally my turn.
Niki and Sunoo shouted words of encouragement as I stepped into the spotlight, my heart pounding in my chest. I took a deep breath and let the rhythm guide me. I found myself moving, embracing the music, and before I knew it, I was dancing like no one was watching. The laughter and cheers of my friends fueled my confidence, and I was lost in the moment.
When the song ended, I was greeted with enthusiastic applause and high-fives from my friends. It felt liberating to have stepped out of my comfort zone, and I couldn't help but smile.
As the night went on, I realized that I had traded my usual Netflix binge for an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, dancing, and the warmth of friendship. This party had turned out to be just what I needed, and I was grateful to Niki and Sunoo for pulling me out of my shell.
We felt a surge of excitement as a bottle of whiskey was pulled out, hinting at an impending game of truth or dare. Caught up in the thrill, I eagerly joined in.
3rd person
As the night deepened, laughter filled the dimly lit room, and the group settled in a circle on the floor. Jay glanced over at Jungwon, who was sitting across from him, leaning casually against the couch. There was something electric in the air, a mix of anticipation and playful tension.
Jake, always the one to kick things off, grinned mischievously. "Alright, who's going first?" He reached for the bottle, giving it a quick spin in the center of the circle. The bottle whirled, the clinking sound filling the room before it slowly came to a stop—pointing directly at Jungwon.
A chorus of cheers and teasing erupted around the group, Sunoo laughing as he clapped his hands together. "Ooh, Jungwon! Truth or dare?"
Jungwon chuckled, but Jay could see the flicker of nerves in his eyes. He knew Jungwon was more of the quiet type, but in moments like this, he couldn't help but get pulled into the fun. "Dare," Jungwon said with a small smile, surprising everyone.
Jake's eyes gleamed with mischief. "Alright, I dare you to... give Jay a kiss on the cheek."
The room erupted in playful whistles and gasps, Sunghoon nudging Jay with an exaggerated wink. Jay felt his heart race, but he tried to play it cool, leaning back casually as if it didn't bother him. Yet, his mind was a storm. A kiss? From Jungwon? He wasn't sure if he was more nervous or excited.
Jungwon raised an eyebrow, clearly taken aback but not one to back down from a challenge. He met Jay's eyes briefly—there was a flicker of something there, something Jay hadn't noticed before, or maybe just hadn't allowed himself to acknowledge. Jungwon shuffled closer, and Jay held his breath.
"Alright," Jungwon said, his voice light but his expression more serious than before. Without hesitation, he leaned in, his lips brushing against Jay's cheek so softly that it sent a shiver down Jay's spine. It was over in a second, but it left Jay feeling like the room had suddenly grown warmer.
Sunghoon and Niki immediately burst into laughter, while Heeseung playfully fanned Jay's face. "Look at him! He's blushing!" Heeseung teased, and Jay's face did feel warm, though he tried to laugh it off.
Jungwon, meanwhile, had already returned to his spot, looking unbothered as if it was no big deal. But when Jay caught his eye again, there was a hint of a smile on Jungwon's lips, something almost knowing.
The game continued, but Jay found it hard to focus on anything else. His thoughts kept drifting back to that brief moment—the softness of Jungwon's lips, the unspoken tension between them. What was this feeling? He wasn't sure, but he had a feeling that tonight had changed something between them. Something he couldn't ignore any longer.
As the bottle spun again, Jay felt his heart thudding in his chest, wondering what might come next.
As the game went on, the bottle of whiskey made its rounds, and the atmosphere became increasingly loose and lively. Sunghoon poured another round of shots, and everyone eagerly grabbed their glasses. Jay hesitated for a moment, his fingers grazing the cold glass. He wasn't much of a drinker, but tonight felt different—a little alcohol might help calm the buzz of thoughts swirling in his head since Jungwon's kiss.
"Come on, Jay, don't hold back!" Niki encouraged, already tipping back his shot with a grin.
Jay smirked, lifting his glass and tossing it back in one go. The whiskey burned down his throat, warm and fiery, but it brought a sense of ease that Jay needed. He noticed Jungwon across the room, also taking a sip, his eyes flickering toward Jay. It was brief, but Jay caught it—again, that unspoken tension between them.
Jake, already a little tipsy, leaned over and nudged Jay with a conspiratorial grin. "You know, I think Jungwon kinda liked that dare earlier," he whispered, loud enough that Jay could barely keep a straight face.
"Shut up," Jay muttered, though his cheeks warmed again. Whether it was from the alcohol or Jake's teasing, he wasn't sure.
"Alright, my turn!" Sunoo announced excitedly, spinning the bottle with a flourish. It whirled dramatically, everyone's eyes following its path as it slowed, before finally landing on—Jay.
"Oh, looks like it's your time to shine, Jay!" Sunoo giggled, reaching for the whiskey bottle. "Truth or dare?"
Jay glanced around, feeling the weight of everyone's gaze on him. Maybe it was the alcohol in his system, or maybe it was the way Jungwon's stare seemed to linger just a second too long, but Jay felt a sudden surge of boldness.
"Dare," he said, his voice steady, surprising even himself.
Sunoo grinned mischievously, raising an eyebrow. "Dare, huh? Alright, I dare you to... share a drink with Jungwon—one shot, but together." He handed the whiskey bottle to Heeseung, who poured two glasses, and set them on the floor between Jay and Jungwon.
Jay swallowed hard, feeling the heat rise to his face. "Together?" he asked, trying to play it cool.
Sunoo nodded with a playful smirk. "At the same time. You and Jungwon both hold the same glass and take the shot together."
Jungwon chuckled softly, the sound low and surprisingly warm. He didn't seem fazed by the dare, but Jay felt his pulse quicken. Everyone was watching, the room practically buzzing with anticipation.
"Fine by me," Jungwon said simply, standing up and moving toward Jay. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes—there was something in them that made Jay's breath hitch.
Jay moved as well, and the two of them knelt side by side, each grabbing a side of the shot glass. Their fingers brushed slightly as they lifted it between them. The whiskey sloshed a little, but neither seemed to care. The closeness was intoxicating in a way that went beyond the alcohol.
"One... two... three," Jungwon counted, and they both tipped their heads back, the burn of the whiskey nothing compared to the way Jay's heart pounded in his chest.
As they lowered the glass, Jungwon's eyes lingered on Jay's for a moment, something unspoken passing between them again. It wasn't the alcohol. It was something deeper, something neither of them had been willing to confront until tonight.
The group cheered, oblivious to the shift that had just happened. Sunghoon laughed, Jake clapped Jay on the back, and Heeseung poured more drinks. But Jay barely noticed. His mind was entirely focused on Jungwon, who was sitting closer than before, his shoulder just barely brushing Jay's.
The game continued, the whiskey flowing freely, but for Jay, the night had taken on a whole new meaning. He couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning.
Neither of the boys was in their right mind, the alcohol fueling the tension and unspoken desire between them. Hearts racing, their bodies drawn by a magnetic pull, they silently slipped away from the others, making their way to the guest room, the air between them thick with a heady mix of anticipation and longing.
The door to the guest room clicked shut behind them, and the tension that had been building all night finally snapped. Jay felt the heat of Jungwon's presence beside him, his pulse pounding in his ears. Without a word, Jungwon took a step closer, his eyes dark with a mix of desire and uncertainty, as if waiting for a sign from Jay.
Jay's heart raced as he closed the distance between them, his hand hesitantly brushing against Jungwon's arm. The contact sent a shiver through him, and before either of them could second-guess their actions, Jay leaned in, pressing his lips against Jungwon's in a sudden, fiery kiss.
Jungwon responded instantly, his hands gripping the front of Jay's shirt, pulling him closer as their mouths moved together in a heated, desperate rhythm. The kiss was messy and urgent, both of them lost in the rush of alcohol and need. Jay's hands found their way to Jungwon's waist, gripping tightly as they stumbled toward the bed, lips never breaking apart.
They collapsed onto the bed, the soft creak of the mattress barely registering over the sound of their ragged breathing. Jay's fingers threaded through Jungwon's hair, tugging gently as he deepened the kiss, his tongue brushing against Jungwon's in a way that made his whole body thrum with desire.
Jungwon moaned softly into the kiss, his hands slipping beneath Jay's shirt, fingers exploring the warm skin underneath. The touch was electrifying, sending a surge of heat through Jay's body. He broke the kiss for a moment, his breath ragged as he stared down at Jungwon, their faces inches apart.
"Jungwon..." Jay whispered, his voice rough with want, eyes searching Jungwon's face for any sign of hesitation. But all he saw was the same need reflected in Jungwon's gaze.
Jungwon pulled Jay down again, their lips crashing together, the kiss growing more frantic. Hands roamed, clothes were tugged at, and the space between them disappeared as they gave in to the overwhelming lust that had simmered beneath the surface all night.
The whiskey had blurred the lines of caution and restraint, leaving nothing but raw, unbridled desire.
(timeskip i cant write smut guys im sorry)
The sun had already begun to filter through the thin curtains when Jay stirred, the events of the night before slowly flooding back into his mind. His head throbbed slightly from the whiskey, but it was the warmth beside him that caught his attention first.
Jungwon lay next to him, his chest rising and falling gently with the rhythm of sleep. The sheets were tangled around them, evidence of the heated moments they had shared, now softened by the quiet morning light. Jay stared at him for a moment, feeling the faint remnants of last night's intensity pulse through him, but now there was something else—an unfamiliar tenderness mixed in with the aftermath of their desire.
Careful not to wake Jungwon, Jay slipped out of bed, running a hand through his tousled hair as he tried to process everything. The room still smelled faintly of alcohol and the closeness they'd shared, but now the heady, impulsive rush had settled into something quieter. Something deeper.
As Jay dressed quietly, his mind spun with thoughts. He couldn't ignore what had happened, not anymore. Whatever it was between him and Jungwon had shifted, and the intensity of the previous night made it impossible to pretend otherwise.
Jay stood by the window, the soft morning breeze brushing against his skin, as he gazed out at the stillness beyond. His thoughts were a jumble of uncertainty and newfound clarity. Last night, fueled by alcohol and years of repressed feelings, they had crossed a line—one that he wasn't sure they could ever go back from. But he didn't want to. The realization struck him like lightning. Whatever had changed between him and Jungwon, he didn't regret it. Not for a second.
Behind him, he heard a faint rustling as Jungwon stirred awake. Jay turned around slowly, unsure of what to expect. Would Jungwon regret it? Would he act like nothing happened?
Jungwon blinked sleepily, his eyes slowly adjusting to the light. When he saw Jay standing there, fully dressed, a hint of worry crossed his face. But then, their eyes met, and something unspoken passed between them—something that made Jay's chest tighten.
"Morning," Jungwon mumbled, his voice hoarse with sleep. He sat up, pulling the sheets around him, looking a little uncertain but not nearly as awkward as Jay had feared.
"Morning," Jay replied softly, taking a step closer, trying to read Jungwon's expression. He wanted to say something, but the words felt stuck in his throat. What could he even say?
Last night had been so much more than just the alcohol. There had been feelings—real ones. Ones Jay hadn't allowed himself to acknowledge until now. The thought both terrified and exhilarated him.
Jungwon rubbed his eyes, glancing around the room before looking back at Jay. "About last night..." he started, his tone uncertain.
Jay's heart skipped a beat. "Yeah?" he prompted, hoping Jungwon wasn't about to say he regretted it.
Jungwon paused for a moment, then gave a soft, almost shy smile. "I don't regret it, if that's what you're thinking."
Jay let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding, a rush of relief washing over him. "I don't either," he admitted, taking a seat on the edge of the bed. His fingers fiddled with the hem of his shirt as he glanced at Jungwon, their earlier intimacy now simmering quietly between them.
There was a moment of silence, the air thick with things unsaid. Finally, Jay spoke, his voice softer. "I... I didn't expect this, you know? I didn't expect to feel this way about you. But I'm not running from it anymore."
Jungwon reached out then, placing his hand gently over Jay's. The touch was simple, but it sent warmth through Jay's entire body. There was no rush, no pressure like there had been the night before. Just the quiet understanding between them.
"So... where does this leave us?" Jungwon asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jay met his gaze, his heart feeling lighter than it had in a long time. "Wherever we want it to," he said with a smile, finally allowing himself to hope for something more.
Jungwon's lips curved into a soft smile as he leaned in, their foreheads resting against each other. It wasn't about lust anymore. It was about the connection they had always shared but had been too afraid to name.
This—whatever it was—felt like the beginning of something real. Something that neither of them was willing to let slip away.
