Nova jumped through the portal before looking around. It didn't take them long to realize this wasn't their home. Divakar stumbled in after them, falling flat on his face.

"This place..... is beautiful!" They said, looking around at it all. They crouched down, feeling the grass between their fingers before looking up. "Divakar look! It's a tree! A live, big, beautiful tree!"

Divakar groaned, pushing off the ground. Eventually he was able to see what they were seeing. "Woah..."

Nova giggled, running to the edge of the mountain they were on. There were buildings! Large towering posts and huts! "Divakar there's people! There's FLOWERS AND BUSHES!" They shouted over their shoulder gleefully.

"Okay, so this isn't home..." he muttered dusting himself off. He almost regretted the statement. This place was in such a better shape then their world... but Rei... the twins... "okay. We'll get out of this! We just need to stick together!" He said confidently, he looked around. "Nova? Nova!"

Nova giggled, already sliding down a mountain slope into the surrounding woods.

"Damn it! Nova! Wait up!"

They didn't listen, quickly taking off as the hit the ground. "C'mon! We haven't played in forever! Catch me if you can!" They shouted over their shoulder, smirking as they slipped into the trees.

Divakar cursed as he jumped down, running after them. Unexpectedly, he didn't have to go far before bumping back into them. "Nova why would you—"

He stopped talking, noticing what made them stop. "Run." He said quickly, grabbing a dagger off his belt. Nova obliged, quickly taking off again.

"Nice... giant... lizard thingy..." he muttered nervously. A wild deadly natter tilted their head, eyeing him curiously. They stepped closer, causing him to step back.

Nova meanwhile ran like their life depended on it, hearing screeching coming from the skies. They switched forms, allowing them to run even faster.

They ran until they hit a tree root, causing them to fall into a small crevice in the earth. They hit their head on the way down. Head dizzy, they passed out on the floor of a small ravine.

Divakar ended up running in the opposite direction, running as fast as he could. He spotted a small cave in the mountain side, too small for the thing to follow. Running over he quickly crawled into the cave, taking the largest boulder he could find and using his strength to push it to the mouth of the crevice. His breathing was uneven as he listened to the beast claw at his makeshift barricade. He sat down on the floor, praying Nova was alright.

How were they supposed to get out of this?

"Wow! Just— wow!"

"How many times are you going to say that, fish face?"

"Well I'm sorry! It's just— it looks feline, but it's not like anything I've seen before! We gotta show Hiccup!"

"How about we actually get— whatever it is, out of the ravine first?"

"Oh! Right— down girl!" Fishlegs said quickly. Meatlug flew lower into the crevice, landing next to the creature.

"You know, I thought we'd be dealing with Ryker! Or you know. Someone important. Not some, weird creature thing for you and Hiccup to geek out about." Snoutlout grumbled.

Fishleg's carefully picked up the animal. "Come on little buddy, let's get you back to the clubhouse."

With that, they took the strange feline with them.

Hiccup and Astrid dismounted, seeing a Deadly Natter scratching and sniffing at a cave. The couple managed to get the wild natter to back off, leaving them to contemplate what to do next.

"So... what do you think it is? One of the hunters? A dragon?" Astrid asked, as Hiccup examined grooves in the dirt.

"Whatever it is, it's smart enough to know how to make a barrier." Hiccup hummed. He waved Toothless over. "C'mon bud, help me out here. Astrid, get ready to attack whatever comes out."

Astrid nodded, jumping back onto Stormfly's back and getting into a defensive position.

"Okay!" Hiccup called quickly. "One... two... three!"

Hiccup and Toothless managed to roll the boulder away from the crevice and Stormfly raised her tail to strike.

"Woah, woah, woah, please don't kill me!"

Divakar held up his hands over his head to deflect any blows.

"Who are you? A Hunter?" Astrid asked quickly, not missing a beat as she went for her axe.

"What? No!" Divakar said, looking up. "W-what's going on? What are those things?"

"Wait, have you not seen a dragon before?" Hiccup asked, resting a hand on Toothless' head.

"Hiccup, careful. He could be messing with us." Astrid warned.

"I don't even know who you are! Why would I want to mess with you?" Divakar asked defensively. Hiccup was quiet for a moment, seemingly thinking it over.

"You're cloths are weird. Are you from the archipelago?" Hiccup asked, eyeing the stranger.

"Hiccup!"

"Argo what now? I'm from fucking Chicago!" Divakar said, backing away from them. "Listen, I just want to get my sibling and go home."

"Sibling?" Astrid asked suspiciously. "Let me guess, they came with you on the island, and ran off and now you can't find them?"

"Exactly! Have you seen them?"

"No, but we can look." Hiccup offered. Astrid shot him a glare. "How about you come with us to our clubhouse, get you cleaned up, then go looking for them? You look like you fell out of the sky."

Divakar looked down at himself, realizing that he was covered in dirt and dust. "Uh- yeah actually. That works. Are... are you sure they'll be okay?"

"Oh yeah, I think our friends might already be with her." Hiccup said with a smile.

Astrid regarded him with suspicion, as Hiccup climbed onto Toothless, before offering his hand.

Hesitantly, Divakar finally took his hand. The things he was willing to do for his sibling.

"Oh Hiccup! You're back!" Fishlegs said excitedly, as Hiccup and Astrid landed at the clubhouse. "Oh boy do I have something to show you!"

"Who's that guy?" Snotloud asked, narrowing his eyes at Divakar. Divakar waved slightly.

"Hiccup! You have to come see this freaky thing Fishlegs brought back!" Tuffnut called out, as he and Ruff poked at the unfamiliar creature.

"It's so fluffy I might die!" Ruff called out as well, playing with its ears.

"Hey! Stop poking them!" Divakar said quickly, jumping off Toothless' back.

"Oh, is this a pet of yours?" Hiccup asked as Astrid dismounted.

"No! That's my sibling!" He snapped, quickly going to her side.

They all stared at him like he might be crazy.

"Alright so this guy definitely came in from crazy town." Snotloud said, whistling slightly.

Just then, the creature began to shift. Slowly but surely, the cat begun to shift into a more human form, leaving everyone to gawk at them.

Nova rubbed the back of their head, sitting up right. "Huh? What happened?" They murmured.

"A DEMON! Kill it!" Tuffnut shouted, raising his mace.

"Demon?! Where?" They cried out, looking around frantically, while Divakar moved in front of them protectively.

"Are they cursed or something?!" Snotloud asked, giving them a side glance.

"Not exactly—" Divakar said quickly. "It was something that just went wrong. It's nothing to freak out about I swear. I even have a tail too." He flicked his tail out from where he had hidden it under his shirt.

Everyone stared for a moment, before Hiccup spoke up.

"Well. I wasn't expecting this today."
