Idea: insomniac villain Izuku + Dabi comfort [short] (Izu+Dabi can be seen as either romantic or platonic)

Izuku never sleeps at night.

How can he when he's constantly plagued by memories that are dragged up from the depths of his mind to cause him more pain than he's in already?

The other members of the league had quickly learned Izuku's nocturnal habits.

Kurogiri found out a few days after the quirkless boy joined the league. Izuku was sitting at the bar, nursing a cup of coffee between slim fingers, staring off into space.

After that the rest of them found out in a similar manner, all opting to leave him be with minimal questions.

Dabi was the only one who wasn't content with leaving Izuku to float in insomnia fueled memories. He left him alone for awhile, but tonight was different.

Izuku looked exhausted, more than usual, "It's nothing.." the greenette muttered when the overly scarred man questioned him.

"If it was nothing you wouldn't look like you were crying."

"..."

Seeing Izuku wasn't going to respond to that, Dabi hesitantly wrapped an arm around the smaller boy, heating up his body a bit to provide warmth, "You don't have to tell me what's wrong, but I'm here for you if you need it. We all are."

Izuku glanced at the taller man, before hesitantly leaning into the warmth he was providing.

"..Thank you."
