Okay guys, look, I'm gonna preface this by saying, I know Sullivan has a crush on me. I don't need the rumours telling me that. He's not even subtle. I don't think he knows that I know.

I was sitting in class. You know, what you usually do in school. And I could feel the black haired boy staring at me. I turned around and turned to face his row. His friend, Alder, was sitting next to him, as usual. Then I saw Alder's  facial expression. He looked downright annoyed, maybe even irked and wasn't looking at his friend, almost like he was jealous. I'd never seen that expression on Alder before. Then, the short, blonde haired boy caught my eyes and he immediately lost the expression, almost as if he was trying to hide the expression he just had. But, it got me wondering, why would Alder be jealous? He and Sullivan were inseparable. Was he jealous of his friend or.... me? There was a rumour going around the school that had yet to be confirmed. The rumour was that Alder had hidden feelings for his friend. You know, crush feelings. It surfaced after Alder came out to the school two years ago, which is utterly ridiculous. Anyone could've been his gay realization.

"Sully, she's watching," I heard Alder say. Sullivan let out a squeak and his blush darkened. He whipped his head away. Alder let out a slight laugh. If Alder did have a secret crush, he didn't show it or at least didn't try to show it. Suddenly, Sullivan's gaze trailed up and down Alder's face almost as if examining it. Then, he reached out and rubbed a finger on it. Concern lit up the green eyed boy's face.

"Alder... there's a scar here." Alder had blushed from the touch, his blue gaze wide. His eyes moved towards the floor. "And it wasn't there yesterday," Sullivan was whispering but I could hear that his voice was full of concern.

"It's fine Sully, really," Alder said. "And I don't want to talk about it." I could pick up a hint of an emotion in Alder's statement but couldn't place it. "Um, Sul," he waved a hand in Sullivan's face, who had been staring into Alder's sky blue gaze. Sullivan blinked and blushed. I took note of it. Sullivan had never blushed at Alder before. He'd only blushed at me or when he was embarrassed or feeling a bit  nervous with public speaking. So the fact he blushed at Alder was interesting. I'd also noticed recently that Sullivan wasn't 'fangirling' nearly as much as he used to when with me. Not that I minded, if Sullivan was starting to crush on someone else, someone who might actually be interested in him back, then you go dude. I'd never been interested in him.

Also, I believe Sullivan's bisexual.

Woah! What an accusation! You're probably thinking. Yeah I know. But I'm not a dumb blonde. I'm very opposed to that idea, in fact. Why is it that of the blonde haired, blue eyed females in movies one has to be at least hot and dumb? That is discrimination to us blonde haired, blue eyed women! My hair is dirty blonde but anyway.

Hear me out, 'kay? The reason I believe so is: When we were asked to do an oral on stuff we're interested in, Sullivan did his on Dear Evan Hansen, a Broadway musical apparently. He explained the basic story line and the characters. And then, he went into some of the characters in more detail. 'Evan' had by far the longest section. Ben Platt, the actor from the Pitch Perfect films. He explained Ben's performance with so much adoration. Far more than the other actors. His expression had been soft. Alder was absent that day. To me, that speech made it quite clear, Sullivan was crushing hard on Ben, even if he didn't realize it. Sullivan crushing on a male celebrity, could only mean one thing, he wasn't straight. I'm not sure if I was the only one to pick up on it. So me suspecting that, and if Alder did actually have secret feelings meant Sullivan could crush on Alder. But Sullivan seemed completely oblivious to his crush on a male celebrity.

I felt myself smile as I looked at the two friends. Sullivan and Alder were now laughing about something, I didn't know what. "Savanna, turn to the front please." Feeling my face heating up, I turned and faced the teacher.

Later, I was out of class. It was break time now and I was sitting with my usual group. I glanced over at Alder and Sullivan. They were sitting together as usual. Alder was blushing while Sullivan was laughing. I found it cute. The two boys had been friends since Alder transferred here. I wouldn't be surprised if they were crushing on each other but Sullivan was too oblivious to notice. "Hey Sav," said one from my group. "Why are you looking at them?" I turned to face her.

"I just find it adorable they've been friends since Alder came here," I said. "And that they don't have anyone else, they don't need anyone else. They're in their own little world. And how it will always be just them in their group." I took a sip of my apple juice.

"What do you think about the rumours surrounding them?" Mallory asked in reply.

"Rumours are rumours. Some are true, some aren't. You won't know. Like, I only know one rumour that's true."

"What one?"

"Sullivan's crush on me. Come on Mal, you can't deny it. He's really obvious." I said, picking up a banana.

"Do you think Alder has a secret crush?" I looked at her straight in the eye. Blue on olive.

"I'm not 100% sure but there are some signs."

"Like what?" I sighed.

"Mallory, please don't tell me you're this dumb. Alder's blushing. Look at him." I let her lean over my shoulder.

"Aren't his cheeks usually that rosy?" I did the 'boi' motion.

"Jesus, no! Alder's clearly blushing while Sullivan's laughing."

"But-"

"Mallory, if Alder's blushing while Sullivan's laughing, it clearly means he's attracted to it in some sense."

"Oooh."

"And honestly, I think that's really cute," I said. "Alder's unrequited possible crush could be come requited." Mallory narrowed her gaze.

"I think you watch too many cheesy romantic movies."

"You know what? I wouldn't be surprised if within the next few weeks or months that they could start dating."

I mean, they're not exactly subtle.
