Soulmate AU: Soulmates have their other halves name on their wrist.

Sarah Stone/Lien's pov

When I was younger and didn't have my soulmate, my life wasn't very interesting. It was the same routine everyday.
I would go to school, skip school to vape weed, come home, lock myself in my room or go to hangout with my friends, and then go to sleep.
Of course I would eat, but it was just the same boring thing.
Life became predictable for me.
Until one day I met him, my soulmate.
That day was the craziest of them all.
You would think, what could be so crazy about meeting my soulmate? Well it wouldn't be unless he was a dark angel. Let me explain.

It was just another boring day. My foster parents had told me to stop skipping school or I would get sent away.
'I don't get why they're getting mad about it. I have straight As in most of my classes! I'm an amazing student, and yet they're complaining about me skipping classes? They should be proud of me, I bet mom and dad would be...'

It was lunch time and I had decided to go to the back of the school to vape. It was the only place I could go without being caught.

I was just minding my business when two motherfucken humanoids with large white wings ran up to me, asking me the stupidest question.

"You there! Girl! Have you seen a boy around your age with dark black wings and demon horns," one of them asked.

"Of course she hasn't. I doubt he even went this way," the other said to the first one. I think they were angels.
'Wait... is he calling me dumb?! I'll show him!'

I pointed towards town, slightly tilting my head.
"Saw him go that way, have fun," I responded, passing them to go to my spot behind the school which was by the dumpster.

They stared at me for a few seconds before nodding and ran to town.

'Wonder how furries will react seeing two angels! Ha!... yeah that was stupid of me.'

I heard a grunt from the dumpster and mumbling.
I peered around the corner, and widen my eyes seeing a...human, but with wings and horns.

'Just how those angels described the boy they were after... wait, he's injuried.'

He had arrows stuck in him, along with slash marks and a dagger in his side.

"God....dammit.... why'd they follow me here?"
He seemed to be asking no one in particular, but I was here, so obviously I went to answer, but not before he mentioned why he listened to that old man.

"You really shouldn't listen to strangers. That's like the first thing you should know. Stranger danger," I knowingly said.

The human turned around, slowly not realizing that I was there.

"....Uh, Hi?"

My eyes rolled, before turning my back to him.
"I told the angels you went that way. You're safe for awhile."

"Oh, thank you. That's very kind of you."

I grunted in acknowledgement, before putting my vape away in my backpack.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I have to go, weirdo."

"Wait! I need your help... again."
The human had grabbed a hold of my wrist, the one with my soulmate's name.

I hissed and pulled my wrist out of his grasp, holding it close to my chest,
"What the fuck?! What do you want?"

He recoiled at the sound of my yelling and looked down.
"I apologize, but I need help with finding someone. Her name. It's on my wrist. The old man said that it was my soulmate. But where I'm from there is no such thing like this. He said I was rare."

I didn't hear the rest of what he said as I read the name, over and over.
I couldn't believe it. This man. He was my soulmate.
The only thing I could hear was ringing in my ears before my vision grew black and I felt myself falling.

Lukas's POV
I was explaining everything to this girl, showing her the name on my wrist and noticed she was falling back.
"Oh crap!"

I rushed forward, catching in my arms.
'Why did she freak out?'
My eyes trailed down to her own wrist and widen my eyes at the sight of my name branded on her small wrist.

'Wait what?.... She's the one I been looking for?'

"There he is!!!!!!.... Damn did he kill the girl that helped us?"

"I think he did...."

I looked up in horror, holding Sarah close.
"What?! Kill her? I didn't kill her! I didn't do anything!"

Third POV
Lukas grew angry at how they accused him, holding Sarah in his arms like a bride.

"Why would I hurt an innocent bystander when you guys would kill them without hesitation?!"

The angels glanced at each other before speeding towards Lukas who ran the other way.
"I'm sorry! Let me just set her down first!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"
He screamed, resulting in Sarah waking up as they ran into the forest.
"What the hell is going on?!"

"Sorry," replies Lukas.
Sarah held onto Lukas, crying out.
"I just wanted to vape in peace," she yelled as the two angels kept running after them.
