“Karma, have you seen Shin-chan? She’s been acting a lot strange lately,” Nagisa asked, making himself comfortable beside Karma’s position, their backs leaning on the tree’s trunk.

‘He’s really worrying. So kind...’

The redhead smiled at the thought the ruffled the bluenet’s hair messily. “That’s must be because of the current chase ongoing on the main campus.”

Nagisa glanced curiously at him, “What chase?”

“The 'Tanaka Chasing Spree', of course,” Karma shrugged nonchalantly. “The elite guys made that chase as a fundraising activity for the Valentine Gimmick. Basically classes A to D were tasked to participate. We, the Class E, must keep those dudes off from the twins in one whole week,” he sighed. “Well, that was according to Isogai.”

“But why Shin-chan and Sun-kun?” Nagisa questioned, confusion was still evident in his porcelain face.

Before Karma could throw another deadpanned answer, Korosensei butted in the conversation at Mach 20 speed starting off with his peculiar laugh.

“Nyuruhuhuhu~ It seems that Sun and Shin are getting popular these days,” Korosensei started. “I heard rumors about a top student that’s on par with Gakushuu-san’s intelligence. Some say he’s the one behind the Chasing Spree.”

Nagisa sweatdropped at his teacher, remembering a weakness of his which involves a whole lot of gossip. But the topic does seem to catch the bluenet’s interest. “Do you have any idea on who that person is, Korosensei?”

“I’ve got quite a list of names here, especially for Shin,” Korosensei’s color suddenly changed into green stripes. “But first we need to prioritize their overall safety in the upcoming attacks.”

Karma’s lazy mood suddenly shifted into a mischievous aura, slowly raising himself from his seat. “You’re clearly underestimating those duds, aren’t you Sensei?”

Korosensei just shrugged the delinquent’s question with a laugh. “I’m not. Just treat this as a practical test in your PE subject. Surely you have learned some lessons with Karasuma-san along the way right?”

The redhead smirked deviously, to which Nagisa just exasperatedly sighed.

“Then go make the Assassination Classroom a legend to remember!”

“At ease, sir!” The two replied, swiftly making their way back to the old campus.

“Sun,” a certain brunette called out, guilt and sorrow reflected in her eyes. “They shouldn’t be doing this. They should not be involved in this fight any longer.”

The ravenet shook his head and caressed his twin sister’s hair gently. “They chose to protect you, Shin. To protect us.”

“But they’re protecting us without knowing what kind of enemy they will be facing!” tears started to fall from her golden eyes. “We know what he is capable of, Sun. They might be receiving worse than what they were expecting. Knowing him, he would do anything just to make us bend down to his will. I don’t want that to happen...”

“I know,” Sun hushed, wiping Shin’s falling tears. “But I won’t let him get you either. If you want to help them, then protect yourself at all costs. Afterall, they wouldn’t last in this Assassination Classroom for nothing. They have Karma and Nagisa. So trust them.

Trust us.”

Meanwhile...

“I will bring you all back whatever it may take. Mark my words, Tanaka Duo,”

He grinned wickedly, caressing a beloved memento of his: a vintage portrait of his cherished friends
