[ her pov ]

she shone as bright as a dozen dazzling red rubies/ as though delicate rose petals clung to the silky fabric/ weaving through the seams of her crimson red dress/ her slim figure was beautifully draped in her incarnadine dress/ her long, midnight black hair was pulled back into a stylish chignon/ perfectly complimenting her elegant figure/ she was as ready as she never was before/ her satin heels clicked distinctively against the smooth floorboard as she walked closer and closer to him - her dream boy

he shone as dark as the heavily black night just outside/ clothed in a crisp, black suit/ a classy black wrist-watch rested snuggly on his wrist/ his hair was perfectly gelled and some/ just some stray strands of hair fell slightly over his face/ his pale face a stark contrast to his intense brooding eyes/ those eyes soon met with her own/ and they lit up ever so slightly/ his piercing  unwavering gaze left her heart in a stuttering mess/ she inhaled an imperceptible breath to soothe her tight nerves/ in comparison, he looked as calm as ever/ as tough to read as any other day/ his beauty was simply otherworldly/ leaving her stunned and breathless each time she looked at him/ and how was always this so? she wondered

the pair stepped out into the dazzling moonlight/ one of his hand reached for her waist and the other/ gently cradled her hand in his/ iridescent, glittery sparkles flashed whenever she moved/ he twirled her around gracefully/ and they swayed slowly tempo of the melodious beat/ just the pair of them, alone/ left with the quiet beating of nervous hearts/ his unknown to her/ she kept her eyes on him/ and so did he/ his penetrating gaze never left hers/ not even for a moment/ as she stared at him, with her heart beating wildly/ she wondered what he was thinking then/ with the both of them closer than they had ever been in a lifetime/ his warm, ambrosial scent infatuated her/ gently brushing the nape of neck/ his face drooped low/ and at such a proximate distance away from her lips/ her breath hitched/ her cheeks were flushed and both of them practically radiated and glowed under the silent moonlight in the dead of the night/ it was a dream come true for both of them/ a night totally unimaginable to either of them/ but just as perfect

[ his pov ]

he was once again awe-struck by her beauty/ but there was something more than just that/ it was the way she looked at him/ that he knew what it represented/ love/ her breath was like sweet honey suckle/ of cherry wine/ and her mere presence/ a distraction to his inner thoughts of paranoia/ that one day she would be like them/ a deep feeling rose in her, so strong a feeling/ he wanted to be the one who was there for her every need/ he had longed for to hold her/ to soothe her broken heart/ now standing in front of her/ he really couldn't quite believe that he could actually do all the things in the world for her/ because she was right beside him 

as they moved, her mind drifted to past memories of him/ his first cold intimidating impression he had given off/ the amount of times both of them clashed with each other/ but somehow both fell for each other, and healed each other in the process/ it was certainly a long journey of sorts/ but nonetheless remarkable/ seeing how far they had both come/ to the both of them, this moment was more than precious/ it marked a beginning/ and she was simply on cloud nine/ her heart gradually slowed down and eased into a comfortable pace/ her nerves washed away/ because what mattered more than his presence?/ her full lips curled into a small smile/ and  she noticed so did his/ meanwhile, warm candle-lights flickered in the dark night around the pair as both red and black figures danced/ out of line of sight to the world/ just the two of them/ together/ and the faint sound of two beating hearts / that soon became one
