Third Person's pov:

There stood the Almighty, Krishna, smiling as he stared down at the dumbfounded and slightly relieved look of Arjun and the glare of Suchitra. He watched as they both climbed there way up when suddenly he was tackled in a tight hug by Subhadra. "Bhratashree! I am so glad that you are here! I don't even want to think what could've happened if you didn't come here on time" Subhadra cried out in relief, Krishna chuckled and patted her back "My dear Subhadra, you shouldn't be worrying about these things! I will always be there to protect my friends, trust me when a person decides to put his faith in me, they will never have to worry about anything." He said with his serene but mischievous smile.

Finally, Suchitra and Arjun reached the place where the siblings stood. Suchitra rushed towards Krishna and hugged him "Sakha! I knew you would come!" Krishna chuckled and ruffled her hair at which she huffed and started fixing the wet, black strands "Of course I did. How could I not come when I heard my sakhi calling out for me? You are too important to be ignored Suchi" Kirshna's words made Suchitra smile widely. He then turned to Subhadra and playfully asked "And you my dear behena, why did you stay in Hastinapur for so long? It felt as if Hastinapur has become your in-laws house" Suchitra snickered as she watched Subhadra turning into a tomato which earned a light smack from Subhadra "Bhratashree! Jiji! Don't joke about such things" she said in a flustered tone.

Krishna caressed her head "You are the apple of my eyes Subhadra. The food tastes bland without you. Tell me, are you happy now?" The happy mood turned a little somber as Subhadra raised her concerns "How can I be bhratashree? Jiji was terrorized by Kalyavan, it was a traumatising sight" Suchitra's eyes soften as she held her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. Krishna on the other hand rolled his eyes at the two woman "You do not need worry about it anymore. He cannot do any harm to either of you" Then he looked at Arjun who stood a few steps away "And besides, those who have Arjun as their protector, they need not worry at all" this brought a smile on both girls' faces as Arjun looked at Krishna with confusion.

Suddenly loud screams of Kalyavan could be heard "KRISHNA! KRISHNA!" all of them turned to the source as the girls took a few steps back. Arjun readied his bow and arrow as he aimed at Kalyavan "Neither my Sudarshan Chakra can kill him nor can your arrow Arjun" Krishna calmy said. "Then what do you reckon we can do Vasudev? We can't just stand here!" Arjun disagreed and shot his arrow which did nothing to the demon.

Kalyanvan started coming closer to them as Arjun tried to stop him with his arrows but all the effort was going to vain. "We will run!" Krishna giddily said, his pink lips adorned a mischievous smile. He took Suchitra's hand in his grasp and ran. His sudden action caught both, Arjun and Subhadra off guard as they decided to follow them.

Arjun's face held a weird expression, he felt an unexplainable emotion when he thought of Suchitra being with Krishna. But is was an 'on-off ' kind of feeling. He would feel it for a few seconds and then it would go away then come back again, something in him said not to worry and wanted to stay calm knowing that she is with Him but then his intrusive thoughts would enter the scene again, completely ruining the peace. "It seems your brother is very close to Suchitra" He decided to say, trying to get some information about their relationship from the Dwarkakumari.

She grinned delightfully and nodded as both of them continued to track the two troublemakers "Indeed he is, they are childhood friends from the time when bhratashree lived in Vrindavan. Both him and Balram dau adore her. She is their greatest friend."

Arjun nodded, he did not say a word due to some reason he felt relieved after hearing those words but then again a small ounce of doubt still remained 'Are they really just friends?' he thought as they continued their search.

On the other side, Suchitra could be seen whining and complaining "Why did you drag me with you Kanha? Do you plan on feeding me to that stupid demon or something?" she grumbled as she let herself be dragged around by her sakha. Kanha just stared ahead with a playful grin, after a few minutes he spoke "I did not have any particular reason to bring you with me but I just wanted to see an expression and I saw it" he snickered thinking about the sour look he saw on Arjun's face.

Suchitra stared at him with an incredulous look her face "What do you mean? What expression?" "Don't worry your little mind with these big things" he teased her knowing it would definitely hit a sensitive spot. And he was right, Suchitra stared smacking his hand "How *smack* dare *smack* you *smack* call *smack* me *smack* an *smack* idiot?!" she screeched not caring if kalyavan heard them, she knew his fate already. "Ow Ow! I didn't call you an idiot you are assuming it on your own and how can you beat your precious sakha like this" Krishna whined faking a pout, earning another smack after which Suchitra finally stopped.

They had now reached the mouth of the cave inside which meditated sage Muchukunda. Krishna placed his hand on the younger girl's shoulder "Stay here sakhi. Stand aside and wait for Arjun and Subhadra to arrive" Suchitra looked at him with a confused but later nodded and agreed. Krishna smiled at her once more and went inside. When Suchitra looked over to the other side she saw Kalyavan running towards the cave so she quickly hid behind the trees. Once she was sure that he had entered, she came out, took deep breath and started reflecting on the things that had happened in one day.

She sat down near a tree, thinking about how the things had changed. It wasn't a big change but it still did have some impact. When she thought back to the times when she used to watch Mahabharat, this scene had always been her favourite. It was a scene which showed chemistry between Subhadra and Arjun. As she was lost in her thoughts she didn't notice a small deer slowly making its way towards her. It was really petite and cute. As it made it's way next to Suchitra it started bumping it's head on her hand wanting her attention.

Suchitra finally broke out of her thoughts. And looks at the little deer infront of her "Aw, where did you come from?" she cooed at it and held it her arms, the baby deer stared at her with it's bambi eyes for a few minutes and then snuggled itself next to her. Suchitra chuckled at the deer's antics and started playing with it while waiting for Krishna, Arjun and Subhadra.

Soon she could hear footsteps and sounds of anklets which indicated that the two royals had finally found her. She got up and started walking towards the mouth of the cave where she saw both Arjun and Subhadra. Subhadra quickly rushed towards her side and started examining her "Jiji? Are you alright? You are not hurt right? Where is bhratashree?" she rambled on while checking her for any kind of  injury.

Suchitra shook her head and grinned "You worry too much Subhadra. I am fine and Kanha is inside the cave." Both Arjun and Subhadra nodded at her explanation and stared ahead. That's when they heard a loud scream which caused them to panic "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" roared the voice for a few seconds and then faded away.

All three of them stood there without a word. Two of them shocked and speechless and the other one amused by their reaction.  Soon after the sound was heard, the three saw Krishna exiting the cave with a serene smile. All of them rushed to his side at once and looked at him expectantly. "Why are you looking at me like that? It indeed was Kalyavan whose screams you just heard. He was destined to be killed by the fire of the meditating sage, Muchukunda's, eyes." he explained, his words intrigued Arjun as he asked to know more about it "The sage has been meditating in this cave for years without opening his eyes even once. It made his eyes so powerful that whoever came in his vision would be burnt to dust" after he explained everything he looked at the three, his mischievous smile making it's way back onto his lips

"Now now, it's getting late shouldn't we head to Dwarka?"

Hey guys! I am finally back after a long break which I took due to exams. I am sorry to make you all wait but I will try to post as much as I can right now since it's my 12th and I will have to focus more on my studies but don't worry! I will try my best.
