Third Person's pov:

In life's special story, some people you find in the journey become a family. Not because of any relations of blood, but because of the special bond that your heart forms with them. These are the people who stand by you through thick and thin, making the journey of life a little brighter and warmer.

And our dear Suchitra was able to form this bond and feel this care and love while staying with the royal family of Hastinapur. Even the Kauravas and mamashree! Yes, she likes to cause trouble and irritate them but she did attach herself with them unknowingly, with the strings of relationships.

Now that it was time for her to leave, a sense of disquiet enveloped the entire castle. A letter had arrived from the Dwarka family which stated that she was invited to visit Dwarka with Subhadra who was to leave today. Suchitra, obviously was elated on the thought of meeting Dau and Kanha and agreed in an instant.

So, here we are with Subhadra and Suchitra who are packing up their things with the help of the dasis. The whole toom was a mess with clothes scattered all around the floor. Both the girls were laughing and giggling while throwing clothes and pillows at each other, the dasis who were helping them looked at the scene with amusement and shook their heads chuckling at their childishness.

The girls soon realised that this was not the right time to play so they put away the pillows and put their attention on packing again. That is when, a gatekeeper comes in informs both the princesses that Panduputra Arjun was there to see them. The girls give each other a mischievous look "Allow him to enter" Subhadra says with smile.

Suchitra on the other hand was quietly chuckling, she knew what was to come and couldn't wait to see it. It was one of the funniest scenes in the whole show of Mahabharat. As she brings herself together Arjun enters the room with a polite smile. He looks at Suchitra and smiles at her as a greeting, he was about to step forward when-

"Wait! Wait Rajkumar, look there are so many wet clothes on the floor. I have put them there so that they dry off quickly so please be careful and don't step on them" Subhadra says with an innocent face. Arjun falls for her tricks and carefully steps around.

"Yes yes good going Rajkumar! Aaram se! Step there! there! Yes yes, now that side!" Subhadra starts to mimick her first meet with him which he eventually realises and shakes his head with a smirk. "Really Rajkumari? You did all this just to make me dance on your commands" Arjun chuckles and looks at Subhadra with a gaze full of admiration and she giggles while staring back at him with the same expression. Suchitra looked at them to and fro with a knowing smile on her soft pink lips, but there was also this feeling that she could not pinpoint.

"Subhadra! Suchitra! Putriyon you are going to leave today so I decided to send Arjun with you because there has been news about Kalyavan being spotted in the route you will use" Mata Kunti explained the girls as soon as she entered the room. With worried eyes she looked at both the princesses "Or if you want you can just stay here for a few more days"

Subhadra shook her head "It's alright mata, if Rajkumar Arjun is going with us then I am sure we will be fine, right jiji?" she turned to Suchitra and wiggled her eyebrows, Suchitra in turn smiled and nodded but internally she shook her head knowing what Subhadra's wiggly eyebrows were indicating. Mata Kunti nodded but her face clearly showed that she was still concerned "If you both say so then fine you can go" she then turns towards Arjun sharply and says "You better make sure they both reach Dwarka without a single scratch Arjun" Arjun shakes his head at his mother's worry "Yes mata I promise to make sure they both are alright."

Time skip

Halfway through their journey, a guard comes forth and informs the three royals that they should stop and let the horses rest for awhile to which Arjun agrees and decides to set up a camp near a river. "Rajkumariyon you should freshen up and eat something, we'll resume our journey shortly" he looks at both of them, though his gaze stays a little longer on Subhadra as she smiles and nods, reciprocating the stare. Suchitra, who stood beside Subhadra noticed the exchange and there it was again, that uncomfortable stirring in her stomach. She decides to leave the two and goes towards the river.

She starts freshening up as Subhadra joins her. As they washed their hands Subhadra's form suddenly tensed and she looked at Suchitra "Jiji, I have weird feeling as if Kalyavan is somewhere around" Suchitra turns to her with a serious face, she remembered this pretty well, Kalyavan would hold Subadra and Arjun was going to try and save her. "I feel it too Subhadra, let's ask prince Arjun" she says and both of them walk towards him.

"Arjun, are you certain that Kalyavan won't be here?" Suchitra asks with a slight worried expression. Arjun, who was making a bonfire looked at both the girls with a deadpanned face and said "Are you both scared despite having me with you?" "No, no, no that's not we meant it's just that my brother Krishna says that Kalyavan is very powerful and no weapon can kill him" Subhadra quickly explains and then goes on describing how Kalywan looked "He is ghostly white and has yellow hair. He seems exceedingly terrifying" Arjun laughs "Your brother Krishna certainly comes up with fascinating tales" Subhadra frowns "I will not tolerate my brother's insult" "And neither will I tolerate anything against my sakha prince Arjun" Suchitra says in a half serious and half teasing tone. Arjun still continues to giggle and shakes his head.

Subhadra of course did not like it, she grabbed Suchitra's hand and started dragging her away "Are where are you going?" Subhadra turns to him with a slight frown and says "I won't stay here and listen to my brother's insults. We don't need your help, jiji and I will go to Dwarka by ourselves with our handmaidens, Dasiyon let's go we aren't going to rest here" she then continues dragging Suchitra with her. Arjun who still thinks of the situation as a joke yells, "You won't reach Dwarka like this! And what if you meet Kalyavan on the way?!" He chuckles

Soon, there was a loud scream, it was Subhadra calling out for Arjun "ARJUN!" He grins and shouts back "What happened did you come across Kalyavan?" he waited for a response but he heard his name again and this time it was Suchitra who screamed. He then understood that something was actually wrong, a frown takes over his face. He picks up his bow and runs towards the source of the sound.

Meanwhile, Subhadra was scared for her jiji's life as Kalyavan held her by her neck. She was panicking so much that it looked like Suchitra was saying something to Kalyavan from afar.

"Pagal! Pagal! Pagal! You stupid demon! I am just a side character here you dumb thing I am not supposed to be involved! It is Subhadra who should be saved by Arjun! NOT ME!" she yells at the demon with fear lacing her voice. She was so scared that she didn't even realise that she spoke a mix of modern hindi and english to Kalyavan, who understood nothing "What are you blabbering and what is that weird language in which you speak girl!" he yells "Why did you capture me you stupid thing! I am not Kirshna's sister" she yells back. The demon tightened his hold on her neck making her struggle more "I know that but you are Suchitra aren't you? You are his best friend so you will do too"

She couldn't speak, tears rolled down her face, she couldn't breath properly, the demon's hold was too tight. Subhadra kept calling out for Arjun till he finally arrived. "Arjun! Please save her!" she cried out "You stay behind Subhadra, let me handle it" he says and looks around. He then shot an arrow towards a tree and stared in the direction. Soon, Suchitra's figure could be seen with tears on her face as she gasped for air. Her condition made Arjun's inside boil with anger which only grew when he saw Kalyavan step out "Are you Krishna?" Kalyavan asks in a demanding tone "Jarsandh told me that if I kidnap Krishna's sister or best friend he would definitely come to their rescue. If you are Krishna then protect her" an evil smile stretched on his face and he brought his axe near Suchitra's neck.

Arjun immediately shot three arrows at the demon which hit him, it caused him to let go of Suchitra as he fell down. Suchitra held her neck softly and took a long breath, relieved that she didn't die. Arjun and Subhadra rushed to her and the latter engulfed the princess into a hug and cried "Jiji! You are fine! I am so glad you are fine!" Suchitra gently patted her back with a smile which was barely wven visible, the event had shaken her up quite a bit. "Are you sure you are fine Suchitra?" Arjun worriedly asks to which she simply nods. Arjun stares at her for a few seconds contemplating on if he should believe her not but eventually nods "Let's go" he says to the two girls.

Suchitra but her lip, she knew that Kalyavan wasn't dead. She wasn't sure if he would believe her but she stil decides to tell him "Arjun......he isn't dead, he will wake up" Arjun turns to her let out a sigh "No he won't, Krishna was wrong and Kalyavan is dead. You are injured Suchitra let's just go" Suchitra let out a disappointed sigh ".......Fine" she says and they resume walking.

Suddenly, she was sweeped away once again by the demon who took her hostage and held her at the bank of a waterfall. Arjun and Subhadra felt something was wrong so they turned around and were shocked to find Suchitra gone yet again "ARJUN!" they hear Suchitra's scream and their eyes widen they both run towards the place where the voice originated from only to find Suchitra in the demon's hild yet again. "Are pagal daanav jhelega tu jhelega! Krishna ko aane de ek baar" Suchitra yelled at Kalyavan in a language he once again could not understand but he brushed it off "Come on girl! Call out for Krishna! Cry and call him, I will show that prideful shepherd his place, he thinks he stronger than Kalyavan or Jarasandh?! What a joke! I will show him"  "Bhrata Krishna! Save her please!" Subhadra shouts for her brother. "Kanha! Kahna! Save me!" Suchitra cries out.

Arjun was about shoot an arrow at Kalyavan, but before he could Kalyavan throws Suchitra over the edge and let's her fall. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" She screams in absolute fright, never has she ever been so scared in her life during Kaliyuga aur Dwapar. "Subhadra go hide!" Arjun yells and jumps off to save Suchitra.

They both fall into the water and try to get hold of each other. Suchitra was running out of breath and wasn't able to keep up as Arjun tried to reach out to her. Arjun watched her struggle and his heart broke when he saw her state, he tried harder and finally was able to grab her hand, when suddenly the water waves split and creating a path in the middle of the river. They both looked around in astonishment and awe. When she saw this, Suchitra knew he was there, her sakha, her bhrata, her lord, had arrived. She frantically looked around and finally she saw him

Hi guys! I am sorry for the late update(I have noticed how I always apologise for the late updates) I procrastinated yesterday and didn't post it but,well, here it is! I hope you liked it. Comment your favourite part, I would love to know how you liked it! And now about the results of the poll that was organised for choosing Suchitra's love interest, I already made an announcement that according to the votes all the pandavas are going to be her partners. I am extremely sorry to everyone else who wanted a single one to be her partner but I assure you that you will get to see really lovely moments of Suchitra with each one of them and I am also planning to write other mahabharat fictions with each of the pandava as the love interest so don't be sad! You will get a lot of content after I finish my exams and I will definitely try to keep updating in between if I have time. Love you all<3
