It was 10:00 exactly when we made it in. We only have two more hours. I looked ahead and the whole ballroom was filled and the two thrones up front sat two unwanted faces. Flaubert and Audrey's.

We tried looking around but the whole castle was packed. Everywhere including all the turrets, the hallways and all that...

I don't know where they kept that secret prison we were once thrown inside of. But if Sam had access to it before, he could be somewhere else...

Time is running out... In a few more minutes before the execution. We're dead...!!! Toast! Mincemeat!

Their prison was obviously secret and heck, I couldn't get beserk around here. Who knows what could happen? One, I'd probably blow my cover.

I was back in the ballroom. We met up at the buffet table and discussed our findings. Sadly, we couldn't find a prison. Not even a secret lever or a button.

"Are you sure you saw nothing?"

"Sorry Heat. Scipes?"

"Sorry cadet. Zilch."

"Nothing at all." Lacer shook his head. Lacier nodded sadly.

I sighed until something interrupted my depression filled thoughts.

"May I have your attention please?!" Audrey's voice boomed through the crowd. She seemed different. More collected and she sounded much older. "We have the executionee right here..."

Everyone cleared a space for Sam. He was in his armor and in chains and his mouth was gagged but he didn't seem to want to fight. His wings were open and revealed but he didn't dare use them.

"I mean, it's twelve o' clock isnt it?" She laughed. "Let's give this execution a twist shall we? Anyone who would like to volunteer to let him suffer with a sword or a power first before he is disintegrated???!!!"

I rose my sword. No one else dared object. They were only frightened.

"Well then, young lady come up here!" Audrey laughed bursting in excitement.

I gulped and held the vial slowly in my hand. I looked down at Sam who was a little puzlzed. I pulled down his gag and smirked.

"Prepare..."

He didn't seem scared he seemed really... Weirded out...

I poured the vial on his wings quickly and then he started groaning and then screaming in pain.

I covered my ears and when I looked back, his feathery wings were a pastel blue that fade into darker blue. His chains came off and he looked straight at me and he held my neck wanting to choke me.

"What?!-" I tried to say. But he choked me so I couldn't answer properly.

Then he held me by the collar and kissed me. He already knew.

I pulled him away to breathe and I quickly blasted Flaubert and Audrey before they could make a move.

Sam threw one of his portal things at the floor and it instantly opened up.

"Get in!" I shouted. Pepper pulled off the satin ribbon on her dress and ran swiftly to the portal and jumped in. Lacer and Lacier and Scipes followed then came me and Sam.

"You're pretty like that." He smirked smugly.

"Screw you." I laughed and pulled him in with me.

We were on the cold marble floor. Sam lay on top of me and stared straight into my eyes. His wings were still showing and he was smiling sweetly.

"I love you, you crazy protector." He smirked getting off me.

I rolled my eyes and he helped me get up.

He then held me in a strange position like for the waltz.

"Hey, hey, hey... Not so fast cutie... You're sisters been worried sick!" I laughed.

He let go and hugged his sister.

"Sam!!! I thought you were a goner!!!" She squealed hugging him so tight.

"Hey Pep... You're pretty Pepped up to see me eh?"

She groaned and then she let go of him. "Puns... I'll manage..."

Sàrda was looking at me approvingly. Finally, Sam was safe and good as ours... And more importantly, good as mine...

"By the way Heather... You look really attractive in that formal gown." Sàrda chuckled.

I blushed and got a little angry. Then Sam went back to the fancy waltz style and soft music played in the background it was the piano in the room that Pepper was playing I wanted to ask her but Sans started slowly dancing with me like at Flares before.

Step by step then it stopped.

"I love you Heather... I'm sorry I chose to leave you..."

"I love you too." Then we kissed again whig seemed to be like the fourth time to me but it was a long kiss. Something I'd never want to end.

I groaned as I woke up. It was waaaay to early in the morning. 4:37.

I dragged myself out of bed and went upstairs to the balcony and flapped my wings slowly and brought them inside my body. Then, I pulled them out again. It got easier these days.

The sun was slwoly setting and I could see the whole Hearthian Department from here... And that large house that still had it's Christmas decorations up in the Snoeshore part of the Hearthian Department? It was Pepper and Sam's house.

"Good morning Sam..." I whispered to the morning air that blew my hair away and made my feathers ruffle and flutter slowly.

A small blue rose fell from the sky that had a paper tied to it. I picked it up and opened up the letter.

I just wanted to say hay and good morning to you too adora-bale.

"Good morning to you too." I read from the note and smiled.

Screw you Lacer. Stop messing with my head. I laughed and tucked the note in my pocket.

That was the worst party I've ever been to last night. And that wasn't the worst part. But as long as he's back with me, I'll be fine.

My hair fluttered lightly in the wind again. And I smelled the fresh morning air... The same smell I got when I first stepped foot on the first pathway to Hearth... I remember exactly what the feeling I felt was...

I inhaled the cold yet sweet-smelling mountain air the fresh air passed through my lungs giving me a little chill.

The exact same feeling returned and I breathed out. I placed the blue Rose behind my ear. It seemed like those movies, the heroine stares at the sun, smiles wearing something their love gave them... A little cliché if you ask me but alright all the same.

"Good morning Hearth..." I whispered into the morning.

I now imagine that Audrey has the voice of 'The Bad Guy' from Wander Over Yonder. It's a beautiful show... Sorry Steven, gimme some episodes and I'll go trashy again XD.
