Scene : Manan's New home, The next morning!

Nandini woke up as the sunrays disturbed her sleep through the window. She looked at Manik. He is about to wake up due to the sun rays. So she is about to get up from the bed immediately to pull the screen.

That's when she realized her situation. She is in duvet wrapped around her body. She looked at their clothes which are scattered on the floor. She blushed remembering their beautiful night.

Nandini caught hold of her duvet around her body in one hand and pulled the screen in the other hand.

She came to the side of the bed, where Manik is sleeping.

Nandini whispered in Manik ears : "You are looking very cute...my dear husband"

Manik smiled in sleep. Seeing Manik smiling, Nandini kissed his forehead.

She pulled the another duvet over him and went to have a bath.

After taking shower, she prepared coffee, the towel being tied in her hair!

With coffee tray, she came to their room and looked at Manik who is still sleeping.

She sighed in disbelief and placed the coffee tray on the table. She set aside the screens letting the sunrays to peep in!

Manik is about to wake up due to sunrays when Nandini removed the towel from her hair and sprinkled the water from her hair on manik's face! Manik rubbed his eyes and then opened it!

Nandini : "Good morning my dear husband! Get up! It's morning!"

Manik caught hold of her hand and made her sit beside him.

Manik : "You woke up this early?"

Nandini smiled : "It's my habit!"

Manik : "Do you know, even I have a habit?"

Nandini : "Is it? What is that?"

Manik : "That is.... mm...you come closer" (Nandini came closer)

Manik : "Come little more closer"

Nandini came little more closer. Manik lifter his head from the pillow and tried to kiss her cheek. But before that Nandini went back. Manik made a grumpy face.

Nandini chuckled : "Last night also, you made fool of me many times. Now come"

Saying this Nandini dragged Manik from bed.

Manik : "But where?"

Nandini : "Tea is on the table. Come have it"

Manik : "I will not drink tea there. I will drink tea only on bed. Who will drink tea there?"

Nandini folded her arms across her chest

Nandini : "Okay, You will have tea when you are in bed. But for breakfast, you have to come to the table. This is not your Malhotra Mansion my dear!"

Manik made a grumpy face.

Manik : "I know that.."

Nandini chuckled, served him tea and asked him to freshen up!

Scene : Living Room of Manan's Home!

Manik is eating sandwiches prepared by Nandini, while she is looking at the Newspaper and searching something!

Manik : "Nandini! What are you doing this early morning?"

Nandini : "I am looking for a job. We want money to run the home right?"

Manik : "Shona! Can I tell you one thing? We are newly married right? Relax... Who will work the very next day after marriage? No need to go to job now"

Saying this Manik made faces.

Nandini : "But we need money Manik to run the home. What I am saying is you too take rest for 2 days. After that you too have to start searching for a job. Okay?"

Manik whinned : "Nandini .... Why are we having boring talks in this early morning?"

But after some time seeing Nandini's worried face, Manik became sad.

Manik : "Okay Nandini. I will search for a job. Happy?"

Nandini smiled to the fullest but she immediately panicked

Nandini : "I am getting late Manik. I have an interview scheduled 11.00 a.m and also at 2.00 p.m. Wish me best of luck Manik"

Manik stood from his place and hugged Nandini, kissed her hair

Manik : "All the best Shona!"

Nandini smiled and went for Interview.

At evening, MaNan's Home!

Manik is playing Video games in his mobile. The door bell rings. Manik went and opened the door. Nandini came inside.

Nandini screamed : "Guess what Manik? I got the Job!"

Manik happily : "Really? I knew you will get the Job"

Manik guided Nandini to the Living room and asked her to close the eyes. Confused Nandini did so.

Manik took the watch that he bought for Nandini and tied around her wrist.

Nandini excitedly : "Can I open my eyes now?"

Manik smiled : "Yes you can!"

Nandini saw the watch in her hand and her expressions changed !

Manik worriedly : "What happened? Don't you like this watch?"

Nandini : "Why do you spend this much money?"

Manik sighed in relief

Nandini : "It seems to be very expensive"

Manik smiled : "Ohh Nandini, You are talking about cost. You scared me for a minute! And where it is expensive? It is just Rs.50,000!"

Nandini is shocked !

Manik continued : "And I didn't give you wedding gift at all. So this is your wedding gift!"

Nandini sternly : "Only Rs.50,000? Manik! You are not living in Malhotra Mansion. How can you spend so much money? What's wrong with you Manik?"

Manik became angry.

Manik : "Enough Nandini! Why are you giving me lectures all the time? It is difficult for me to adopt the habit of saving. Give me sometime. I will adjust"

Manik continued : "And about this watch ! If you don't want the watch, please don't wear it!"

Saying this Manik got up from the sofa.

Nandini too got up and hold his hands

Nandini smilingly : "My Dear husband.... What i am telling is...."

Manik : "Now don't pamper me. I am trying to adapt right? You look at this home. There is no AC, no TV no Fridge and I can't just get sleep even for sometime because of these mosquitos!

Nandini just looking down listening to Manik

Nandini : "I understand Manik !"

Manik angrily : "No you won't. You can't understand. Do you know why? Because you belong to Middle class!"

Nandini looked at him with widened eyes because she can't believe what she heard!

Saying this, Manik went to their room!

After 1 month - MaNan's Room!

Manik wake up from his sleep and searched for Nandini beside him. But she was not there.

He got up from the bed . He saw a small table where his tea, breakfast, juice is kept. He also saw a note

Note : "Off to Work. Breakfast kept.. Love u ❤️"

Manik palmed his face : "God I'm...... I shouldn't have talked to her like that"

Yes. The previous night also, Manik and Nandini fought with each other.

Manik took his cup of tea, went and stood near window. Just then he saw a newspaper on the desk.

He took the newspaper and saw an Ad for Wanted!

Manik : "Shona! Now I too will search a job and make you happy. You can do it Manik"

Saying this he started to contact for 3 different jobs and went to attend the interviews.

Scene changes to XYZ Office

A person : "Congratulations. You are selected for the job !"

Manik happily : "Thank you so much sir!"

A person : "And your job profile is that you have to go door to door and sell vacuum cleaner"

Manik's smile dropped instantly

A person : "Okay?"

Manik just nodded his head.

Scene changes to ABC Office

Manager : "You are appointed "

Manik smiled : "Thank you Sir"

(Now he knows the job profile and he is somewhat satisfied with it)

Manik excitedly : "How much Salary sir?"

Manager : "It's Rs,15000"

Manik's smile dropped

Manik : "Thanks!'

Saying this, he came out of the Cabin.

Scene changes to MaNan's Home

Tired Manik came home and crashed himself on the Sofa. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialled a number!

Manik over phone : "Buddy... It's been long time we had party, come to my home. And yes. bring Cabir also with you. Yeah I am alone at home"

Saying this he hung up the call!

Abhi and Cabir are Manik's Friends. Abhi was the one who helped in arranging the home for MaNan.

After some time

Manik, Cabir and Abhi at MaNan's Home

Manik and Abhi are lying on the bed. Cabir is sitting near the bed on the floor. All cooldrinks cans, pizza bottle, liquor are scattered all over the floor!

Abhi : "Tell me Manik. How is your married life?"

Manik : "Yeah. It's good. You tell me. How is your life going?"

Abhi : "All well Manik"

Cabir chuckled : "Manik must be very good. After all he is living in his wife salary. First he is spending his father's money. Now wife's......"

Manik became angry and punched Cabir.

Manik : " You are laughing so much. I will deal with you after my dad comes, forgives us and takes us with them"

Cabir chukled : "He is justifying of living in his wife salary"

Manik : "And about living in wife's salary, what's the big deal in it?"

Abhi : "You are right manik . Bhabhi's salary..............."

Abhi stopped when he saw Nandini at the doorstep.

Abhi : "Bhabhiji.....!"

Manik and Cabir followed his eyes and looked at the direction where Nandini is standing.

Manik sat on the bed. Whereas Abhi and Cabir stood from their places!

Abhi and Cabir : "Namaste Bhabhiji!'

Nandini smiled : "Namaste!"

Nandini went to them and kept her handbag on the table.

Nandini : "Hai Abhi ! Hai Cabir! How are you both?"

Manik smiled.

Abhi and Cabir : "All well Bhabhiji"

Cabir : "How are you Bhabhiji?'

Nandini chuckled : "You are asking me how are you? I have so much work in office. I thought to rest after coming to home. But now after seeing the condition of the home, I think I have to work in home too"

(Saying this she showed the mess the three had made)

Nandini continued this time sternly : "I don't have time for myself now. How will I be well?"

Abhi and Cabir gulped their saliva.

Abhi and Cabir : "Okay Manik. Bye...We are leaving"

Manik : "Hey, Now only you came!'

Abhi and Cabir to Nandini : "Okay bhabhiji , bye"

Nandini smiled fakely and they went .

Nandini started picking the mess they had created one by one.

Manik angrily : "What the hell is wrong with you Nandini?"

Nandini glared Manik and carried on her work

Manik continued : "What is the need of behaving like this to my friends?'

Nandini went to him and placed her hands on her waist : "Excuse me Manik. Do you have responsibility or not? You don't have right? So I only have to be responsible!"

Nandini continued : "And what behaviour is this? I am not your maid. I am your wife. Show some respect!"

Manik : "Enough Shona! Not anymore! Why can't you speak normally? What happened to you? I have been noticing you since few days. You are behaving weirdly!"

Nandini became angry.

Manik : "Where is my Nandini whom I married? Where is she?"

Nandini angrily : "And where is my Manik whom I know? He is so supportive, so concerned.... Where he is disappeared?"

Manik made faces.

Nandini : "And you sitting in home for whole 1 month! And you are waiting that your dad will accept us!"

Manik got up from the bed : "Enough Shona! You are talking too much! I went for job interviews. But they are offering only 15 thousand rupees. How can I work for just Rs,15000? If I was Malhotra's son, my room size will be larger than this whole home"

Nandini looked at him shockingly.

Manik continued : "Even our driver earns more than Rs.15000. And if you are still saying to do the job which offers Rs.15000, then I am really sorry because I am not going to do this"

Nandini : "15000 Manik! What's wrong in Rs.15000? Everything needs a beginning Manik!"

Manik : "You keep your middle class talks to yourself! Because I can't handle this anymore!"

Saying this Manik went away.....

Nandini : "Manik!"

Upset Nandini sat on the bed with his hand on her head!
