"No,I'm not going anywhere, I already moved enough,"I said starting to get angry.I moved five times this month,I only had one friend through out all of that and now she hates me,people bully me at school, just now I'm finding out I'm a demigod,my mother is going on dates with random guys,and Annabeth is getting on my nerves."You have to,"Annabeth said."I don't have to do anything,I wish everyone on this stupid planet would vanish never to be seen again,all of you!"I shouted at her."Riki, I know it's tough but..."She said."No you don't understand, I've lost so much and I've been abandoned all my life,and my mother hates me, you can't understand that!"I yelled at her.Tears swelled up in my eyes.She lifted up her hand. I hear it all the time."My twin brother Will moved away when my father started abusing us,Leo never got to know Will,my name is supposed to be Solace too but I never changed my name I wanted it to still be Valdez,"I said.After a little while of discussing my brothers we left for camp half-blood.She told me about her boyfriend Percy.And her Greek and Roman friends.Hazel,Frank,Reyna,(my brother)Leo,Piper,and Jason.She told me that my brother Will saved her life in the second Titan war.She told me about the wars she fought and I just sat there in awe she was so brave and smart and strong I thought I could never be able to do that.When we finally arrived after tons of monster attaches all I saw was a tall hill. We went the whole way to the top and I jumped in horror as I saw the dragon sleeping by a tree.Its the tree Annabeth talked about.Her friend Thalia became that tree when she was killed by a Cyclops.That dragon protects the tree and the tree gives the camp a border and the border protects the camp.I stared in amazement at the beautiful sight of the camp bellow me.Then I looked up and saw something magnificent in the sky. It was a robotic dragon flying through the air.With the one and only Leo Valdez on the dragon's back.I knew he was my brother immediately even though I didn't see his face,I just knew.He saw me and stopped right in front of me and Annabeth."Hey,Valdez!"I said at the break of tears."Hi Vladez!"He said already crying.I gave him a hug then hopped on the back of the dragon.I was surprised when the dragon started talking to me.Leo told me that he understood Festus (the dragon) by listening to his creaking noises.Then I told Leo that I heard Festus talking to me.He was confused at first then he said something about everyone being able to hear different.After a while of talking about Festus and our mother,Leo finally took me for a ride.With the wind in my face I felt like I was flying.I looked down at the camp below me,it looked beautiful from up here.Leo said he wanted to take me somewhere and he wanted me to meet our new family.He landed Festus in the woods somewhere and we got off and started walking.The forest looked so dense and big.I felt insignificant but at the same time I felt strong.I told Leo about my mom and how she hated me and he told me about his life at the orphanage.Then a rumbling started through out the camp."What is that?"I asked."Probably just an earthquake,"He said."I can sense it that's not a regular earthquake,"I said."How can you sense it,Riki?"Leo asked."Well I'm a grand bless which means I have one God parent but all the gods have blessed me,but I'm still a little bit different then the grand blessed I'm not sure how but I feel more powerful then that,"I said trying not to look him in the eye.Annabeth had told me
That she figured that out when she saw me fight the manticore."Wow that must be cool,"he said."Yeah it is,actually,"I said.The ground rumbled again."Let's get inside encase this turns out bad,"he said rushing.I wasn't sure what he meant by inside but then all of a sudden doors appeared right in front of Leo.We hurried and got inside.He showed me around the place.He called it Cabin 9.With all the tools lying around,I truly felt at home with my real mom.I heard a girl in the corner of the room complain "My hands are all dirty,"She said looking at them.She wouldn't stop moaning about it so I went over.Leo followed me over."Clean hands,dirty equipment,"I said to the girl.I looked at Leo and he stared at me in awe."Our mother always use to say that to me,"He looked like he was going to cry."Oh great,another Valdez,isn't this gonna be fun,"A girl barged in."What do you want,Clarrise?"Leo asked."Chiron wants you good for nothing people to build some machine now,"She laughed."We will do that for Chiron and not you, you think we're good for nothing well you see that sword you have we built that,you can fight but so can we,I don't care what you say but we matter you and everyone else depend on us to get you the weapons you need for war,you people say we can't fight well we can,I could take u down,this is my family,you hurt them I snap ur neck like a twig!"I yelled as the ground grumbled."okay fine,if you think u can beat me go ahead and try,scrawny!"She bellowed.I looked around and half of the people that were in here were gone.But the rest gathered around us,supporting me."Fight!Fight!Fight!"Everyone chanted around me and Clarrise.I did a fake punch to her stomach and when she went to block it I punched her the face.She went to punch me and I grabbed her hand and judu flipped her over the table.I walked over and put my foot on her chest before she could get up."We can fight as good as any of you Ares kids,"I said confidently.I looked around and everyone was gone even Leo."What's going on?"I thought.Then I looked under my foot and Clarrise was gone.The ground stopped shaking.
