Wendy P.O.V

I clutched Carla to me as the leviathans roar echoed off the cave walls. Gajeel stepped forward, turning his arm into a sword. "Wait!" Levy said, holding her arm in front of him. She set the book on the ground and held both of her arms out to the leviathan. A low growl rumbled in it's throats as she stepped closer.

"We arnt here to hurt you, or your temple." She said in a strong voice. The beast stared at her, almost like it was studying her. "Levy that thing can't understand you." Gajeel said. She glared at him. "Dragons can." He frowned. She turned back to the beast. "Please, we do not want the magic... We only want the book." She said.

The leviathan lowered it's head and stared directly at her. It sniffed her, and as it exhaled it blew her hair back. 'I can not allow you to take the book.' We all jumped. "Telepathy?!" I gasped. It nodded it's huge head. "Well why can't we take it?" Gajeel huffed. 'As guardian I can not allow it to leave this sanctuary.' It looked at him. "May we atleast read it? Maybe even copy the pages?" Levy asked. It turned back to her and almost seemed to smile. 'There is something about you young one... Yes, I will allow you to study the book. You may stay in this cavern until you are finished. When you are done call for me, and I will open the way out.'

"What can we call you?" I asked. It huffed a little. 'I have not used my name in many decades. My people used to call me Crystallia.' I smiled. "So your a lady!" She let out a hoarse chuckle. 'Yes. Now please, call when you are finished.' She dipped her head into the ocean, her long body surfacing momentarily while she dove. We were quiet for a long time.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!"

Levy P.O.V

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" I shouted. I ran to Wendy and hugged her. "She is fantastic!" She squeeled. I grinned and grabbed the book, sitting down. I dig in my bag and pulled out a thick stack of paper and a pen. "You guys make yourselves comfy, it's going to be awhile." Gajeel groaned as he flopped down close by. Wendy went off to explore the room with Carla.

I wrote for hours, translating as I went. It was very amazing, the detail in the spell, the craftsmanship in the magic was breath taking. Hours had gone by when Gajeel spoke,"You should really go to sleep shrimp. It's been an entire day since you've slept." I nodded a little as I kept writing, not really hearing him. I jumped a little when he grabbed my pen. "Sleep. Now." "But Gajeel-" "It will be here when you wake up." I squeeked when he lifted me on to his shoulder and walked away from the book. He walked over to where Wendy was sleeping. One of them had set up my sleeping bag and Gajeel dropped me onto it. He sat, leaning against the wall beside me."Sleep." he commanded.

I pouted but curled up in my bag. Now that I was laying down, it hit me how tired I was. My eyes closed and I tossed and turned a little. I slowly drifted to sleep, snuggled into something warm.

Gajeel P.O.V

I stared down at Levy as she tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep. She rolled into the side of my leg and sighed a little. My face heated up a little as she snuggled my leg and calmed down, falling asleep. I glanced up to see Lily smirking at me.

"Not a word cat" he held up his paws in a surrender. I looked down at Levy as she slept. I unconsciously ran my hand through her blue hair, it was so soft. I mentally shook myself and looked away, but I kept my hand on her. I closed my eyes, drifting to sleep with my hand on her shoulder.
