"Well it's just you and me," I told Anna as we walked through the park.

Justin wanted alone time with Molly and went up to the hotel room. They walked off holding hands and smiling at each other. A thought passed through mind that he was probably going to tell Molly what he thought of me. I tried to take my mind off of it as we walked around in Miniland USA. We came up on New York and Anna stopped so we could take a picture by it. I could see the sadness of Justin being here, and not being able to spend time with her mom.

I decided that I should try to cheer her up. I pulled out my phone and shot a quick text to Molly.

You should come over here Anna sad need help.

She text back a second later saying, On my way.

Anna suddenly looked up said," Nick why does Justin ruin everything."

What now she opens up what am I suppose to say......
"What do you mean," I responded hopping she might give me more information.

"He's just so into himself. He doesn't really care about my mom he just wants to feel better about himself knowing he got someone as good as my mom," she said after a few minutes.

Wow this kid is smart, and starting to trust and she is opening up to me! "How do you know that?" I questioned.

"He is always tied up in business only making time for her when he has nothing else to do, plus he would never hit me if he loved her," she said sadly.

I looked down as her eyes got as saucers. "Don't tell my mom," she said a scared look comming across her face. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out.

Molly came running up and Anna's eyes got even bigger with fear.

"Hey, Justin is getting dinner what wrong." she said looking at us.

"Nothing," I said finally breaking the gaze between Anna and me. I saw her loosen up a little.

"Okay, we are going to just get bugers at the hotel is that alright?" she said asking Anna more than me.  I could see she was wondering what she walked up on.

"Yea," Anna said nodding her head. The twinkle in her eye came back on the way back to the hotel. It was gone again when Justin walked up.

"Hey, our a table over there" he pointed and had that stupid smile on his face.

I needed another chance to talk with Anna. Luckily that came easy with Justin being here.

Anna was begging her and her mom to go down to the pool. I saw Justin getting frustrated with her so I offered, "I can take her if you want I said looking at Molly."

Molly looked at Anna. She shook her head slightly. "Okay,"Molly said," go change clothes."

On our way down stairs Anna sighed and said, "it's been happening since they stared dating."

"Really why haven't you told your mom?" I asked surprised she picked up the conversation so quickly.

"Because she really cares for him," Anna replied.

"Why are you telling me this," I asked not knowing what else to say.

"Because you like my mom and I want her to realize that you are way better that Justin," she said rather quickly.

Was it true did I like Molly more than just a friend?
