My irritation level was high. Sophie was around the twins all day long. I screwed up and I didn't know how to fix it. It pissed me off the twins told me too I wasn't build for combat and that I would achieve what they could. It still irritated me but changed into hurt. I looked up as Sideswipe walked up to me and sat down in front of me. "Hi... how are you doing?" He asked. I tried to figure out if it was genuine or forced. Sometimes if he's not with his brother, he's different. Like now.

"I am fine..."

He grasped my hand. "You're spying on us. I know because you're crawling through airshaft. I saw you the other day," he said. "So? Can you please teach me or at least watch me? It's all I ask," I stated. He sighed softly, "unless you have plans with Sophie," I added grimly. Sideswipe rested his elbow on the table. "You're jealous?" He asked. "What? Why on earth would I be jealous?" I mocked and snorted.

"I get it alright. She's beautiful, she looks ways better than me and she doesn't want to learn how to fight and join the military. Don't you like that? If a girl joins the military and can do the same thing as you?" I asked. Sideswipe sighed and sat back, "no, Amethyst. I don't mind if a girl joins the military but what I do mind is the fact that you're still not healed, and might make a mistake that will harm you" he stated. "Then teach me!" He was about to reply but Sunstreaker approached.

"Sideswipe, are you coming?"

I grabbed Sunstreaker's arm. "Sunstreaker, please sit down," he pulled his arm back. "Sophie is waiting," he sulked and walked off. I got and marched after him, "is this how it's going be between us?" I asked. "You made sure of that, Amethyst," he snapped. "Don't you understand I want to learn from you? I don't have other intentions, I just want to train with you," I stated. "Yeah, and we don't want that," he snapped. He pushed me aside. "Would you like to watch me? I want to show you what I can do—" he hit me.

Sideswipe quickly got up and came between us. "Leave me alone, Amethyst!" He snapped. I snorted and walked off. Pissed off, I headed to my room.

I know Sideswipe is the combat instructor, so I can try to join his lesson. I dressed up in a uniform that was too big and caught up with Benjamin. Together, we joined the rest of his team. Every single one of them were nice and they allowed me to train with them, unlike the twins.

As I walked in, Sideswipe instantly noticed me. Benjamin turned his head, "does your guardian allow this?" He whispered in my ear. "I don't know."
I stepped in line. "Amethyst, come here," Sideswipe said. "Ah, come Sideswipe, let her join. She joins us more often. Ironhide allows her to join, so why wouldn't you?" Benjamin asked. The mech glanced at me. "Alright but promise you will stop if you have pain, okay?" I nodded, "promise."

I really tried to show off what I could, but the mech wasn't only paying attention to me and at the moments I wanted him to look, he was talking to somebody else. I got tackled and groaned as I fell. This was what Sides saw and rushed over to me. "You're okay?" He asked. I gave a small nod. Benjamin offered me his hand and hoisted me up. "Why don't you sit down for a moment?"

I shook my head. "I feel fine." The mech wasn't convinced. After the training, I just left and didn't ask what he thought about my fighting skills, but returned later that evening to the training room.

As I stumbled after a move, I felt a pair of hands grab me. "Optimus I—" I stopped and looked at Sideswipe. He flashed me a weak smile and helped me find my balance. "What are you doing?" he asked and gestured at the smiley on the wall. "Nothing... I was... cleaning." Sideswipe hummed and took the stick from me. "doesn't look like a mop to me," he said and threw it back at me.

"I'll leave..." I sighed. Sideswipe grabbed my arm. "I am sure we can do some basic things," he said. A smile crept up on my face. "Really?" I asked. He chuckled and gestured me to take a battle stance. "Why did you change your mind?" I asked. "Because if I don't... you will teach it yourself and most likely injure yourself. Which happened before," he said strictly. I smiled a little.

He was definitely not going easy on me and I was exhausted. He crouched down, "you think that was tough? This isn't even what I teach most soldiers. Just a small part of it," he said. He scooped me up in his arms and carried me to my room. "That fragile body of yours need some sleep and a warm shower," he mumbled.

He placed me back on the ground and entered my room. He grabbed a few things, handed them to me and pushed me towards the bathroom. I took a quick shower and laid in bed. "Goondnight." he kissed my head and got up but I grabbed his wrist."Thank you." He hummed and kissed my head, walking off.

I curled up and fell in a deep slumber. The next morning, I was awoken by Sideswipe as he walked in and placed some food on the night stand. "How do you feel?" he asked. "Good," I lied. He sat on the edge, "you have pain. I know that for sure," he said and rubbed my cheek. I leaned into his hand for a moment. "Take a warm bath. It will help." I smiled weakly and grabbed the plate while Sideswipe left again. After my breakfast, I took a warm bath.
