(A week later)

Liv and Luke were video chatting on the phones talking about the action from last week.

Liv: I saw you in Japan Lukey, you really made Vince mad

Luke chuckled and smirked.

Luke: and also getting into his head mentally, and also you and Cesaro did an excellent job, now that was a clean pinfall on Becky

Liv: where are you now?

Luke: I'm down at Florida, gonna make a visit to a certain company that has the media abuzz

Liv: oooh, what company is that?

Luke: well you may have to watch to find out, however I can only give you the name of the show

Liv: give it to me

Luke: Rampage

Liv was stumped as she had no answers.

Liv: well whatever that company is, I'm excited to watch you babe and I can't wait for you to be here with me, so I can kiss you

Luke: aww, I can't wait

Liv: have fun Lukey

The Jersey native blew a kiss at the screen and the Nomad did the same before they hanged up. As for Liv, she got ready for SmackDown tonight, feeling a lot of momentum going into her tables, ladders and chairs match against Becky.

(Inside the arena)

Vince was on a phone call with the WWE president, Nick Khan.

Vince: did you send the negotiation to Luke?

Nick: he could've gotten it by now, sir

Vince: hmm, okay, well come to the arena later because he may be coming, so he will sign it in front of us

Nick: yes sir, I'll be there soon

(Meanwhile, with Luke)

Luke arrived at an arena called Daily's Place, the home of one of WWE's rising competitors, All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Inside, Luke met with some of the AEW staff, coaches and talent ranging from the likes of the Dark Order, Tay Conti, Anna Jay, Sammy Guevara, AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker, TNT Champion Cody Rhodes and AEW World Champion Hangman Page.

However, the man Luke wanted to see was the big boss himself, Tony Khan. He found the true Khan talking with some of the staff.

Luke: Mr. Khan

Tony: Luke Ardiente, a pleasure to meet you. I may be the Forbidden Door, but you just kicked the damn thing down

Luke: I did it over at Japan

Tony: and I see you want to open the door here in AEW

Luke: that is if you're on board to piss my boss off

Tony: hey, the crowd will love this, so let's get started

Luke: perfect, and oh I got this negotiation contract from the one you called False Khan

The Nomad took out the paper and showed it to Tony.

Tony: this contract states that you are given a raise of $100,000 if you show up to the show tonight

Luke: a good offer, but I want to get in McMahon's head, sir

Tony: I got an idea, I will print out the exact same negotiation, but this offer will have an extra zero with your name on it

Luke: it's a deal sir

Tony: call me Tony, and if you want to play mind games, bring your hardware out

Luke: got it

The Nomad took out his WWE Intercontinental Championship which impressed the True Khan.

Tony: perfect, I'll have the staff type up a revised negotiation, anything else you want?

Luke: an appearance for one of your matches

Tony: no problem, here let me show you the card for tonight

The Nomad looked over the matches until he pointed one out.

Luke: there, the one on one match between Hook and Daniel Garcia

Tony: alright, looks like we're all set

Luke: I can't wait to see the look on Vince's face

(On SmackDown)

Before the show started, the live crowd were watching a recap of the events last week from Luke's international appearance at NJPW to the mixed tag team main event to the frustration looks of Vince, Prichard and Laurinaitis.

The show was now going live and the crowd was cheering loud and chanting the Nomad's name and also curious of where Luke is and where would he strike next or what the Nomad said, where will he open the Forbidden Door to.

Vince, along with Prichard, Laurinaitis and Nick Khan made their entrance while the crowd did their usual boos on the corporate wyvern. The four corporate villains got in the ring and Chairman got on the mic.

Vince: alright, earlier today, World Wrestling Entertainment president Nick Khan sent out a contract negotiation to the Intercontinental Champion Luke Ardiente which states that Mr. Ardiente will receive a $100,000 bonus if he comes out here and hands over the agreement to us, so we can resume our usual business, so Luke I ask for you to come out here please

After a second of silence, the Nomad's theme played, but after the first 15 seconds of the music, Luke was nowhere to be seen in person. However, the Nomad was seen on the Titantron wearing his casual clothes and shades with his Intercontinental title and a black curtain on the background.

Luke: hey Vince, up here!

Vince: well Luke, you're supposed to be here in the ring not live via satellite

Luke: oh I'm sorry I couldn't be there, because my flight got delayed and cancelled

The Nomad was obviously lying but covered it up.

Vince: well that's okay, did you look over at the negotiation Mr. Khan sent to you

Luke: I did and what an offer you gave me, a bonus just to appear on your company's show

Vince: you can't say no to $100,000 right?

Luke: I believe not, and I did look over the fine print and it was signed by Mr. Khan, but... it seems there is a typo here

Vince and Nick were confused. Then the president took the mic.

Nick: what are you talking about? That negotiation is final and the staff double checked it

Luke: oh no, all the words are correct, but the first name of the one who signed this is wrong

Nick: what?

Luke: the fine print states, signed and approved by Mr. Khan, but... it's not Nick Khan

The Nomad smirked as the black curtain moved away to reveal a background adorned with logos of AEW. Then the Nomad turned to his left while the camera zoomed out to reveal Tony Khan while the crowd were in shock and awe as the WWE Intercontinental Champion is in AEW. Vince, Nick, Prichard and Laurinaitis were also shocked.

Tony: hey Vince, Nick; it seems Luke did sign a negotiation agreement, an agreement to appear on AEW for the night with a generous bonus of $1,000,000. One zero more than you than your original offer Vince. And the agreement does say Mr. Khan, however the agreement reads Tony Khan

Luke smirked as once again Vince's plan blew up right in his face.

Tony: so for one night only, your WWE Intercontinental Champion will step inside an AEW ring and give the audience a good time

Luke: oooh it hurts, doesn't McMahon? Seeing one of your independent contractors on your biggest competitor. Well I'll be kicking some ass, and I'll bring you back a souvenir courtesy of Tony himself. See you soon, Vince

Vince: Luke, you better not-

The connection was cut while McMahon was fuming in the ring. The Chairman threw his blazer and walked to the back feeling defeated and humiliated for the second week.

Meanwhile, Liv and Cesaro were in shock to see their friend on one of WWE's biggest competitor.

Cesaro: AEW! That is where Chugs (Adam Cole) is!

Liv: Rampage... AEW Rampage! AEW! Rue-Rue is there!

Cesaro: let's see what Luke will do there

(In AEW)

Luke was watching the match between Daniel Garcia and Hook. The Coldhearted's entrance intrigued the Nomad as he saw obvious similarities between himself and the young star. Hook's entrance had a coldhearted, serious look and had the rebel attitude of turning his back to his opponent.

Luke: he reminds me of me alright

The Nomad watched as Hook and Garcia locked up. Garcia went for a kick, but Hook caught him and flattened him with his father Taz's signature Taz suplex.

Luke was impressed as he nodded at Hook's offense.

The match was one sided, but there was a bit of offense from Garcia as he took down Hook with a clothesline. However, Hook just got right back up, showing no pain, only rage.

Luke was at awe.

Luke: he just stood right back up!

(End of match)

Hook took down Garcia with a big lariat and then connected with forearms shots followed by his submission finisher, a modified version of the Tazmission, the Redrum. Garcia immediately tapped out and the bell rang.

Hook kept the hold on for a few seconds before he let go, walked out and exited the ring. However, as the coldhearted Hook walked out, he was stopped by the tag team The Acclaimed consisting of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. 

The son of Taz went back inside the ring and stared down at the two rappers. Bowens went for a cheap shot, but Hook stopped him and took him down with another Taz suplex, but then the young star was ambushed by Garcia's cohorts, 2point0.

In the back, Luke saw that his signal to go. He grabbed his title and went to the heel ramp of the stage. Back in the ring, it was a 4 on 1 beatdown, Hook stood his ground to fight them off, but the numbers game was too much; however, the beatdown stopped as the theme of the Supreme King played.

The Acclaimed and 2point0 turned to the ramp and saw the WWE Superstar slowly walked out with his title draped on his shoulder. The crowd and the four men were in shock and awe as the announcer Excalibur mentioned the deal Luke made with Tony Khan and that he kicked down the Forbidden Door.

Luke distracted the four men while behind them, Hook got right back on his feet.

The Nomad walked down the ramp while the crowd was still losing their minds, seeing a WWE Superstar on an AEW show. The Acclaimed and 2point0 stood their crowd while Luke got in the ring to stare down at the four men.

Hook walked up behind 2point0, making the two men feel his presence. Hook threw Jeff Parker out of the ring and took down Matt Lee with a lariat while Luke took down The Acclaimed with a double clothesline followed by a German suplex to Garcia.

Hook and Luke worked together to fight off the two heel tag teams. Luke and Hook took down Bowens and Lee with their signature suplexes.

Garcia went for an ambush shot on Luke, but that prove to be a mistake he regrets as the Nomad got Garcia up in the fireman's carry for a Super Polymerization, much to the impression of Hook.

Luke and Hook stared at each other as they held Caster and Parker. The two then nod at each other and locked in their respective submission holds; Luke locking in the Katipunan Clutch on Caster and Hook locking the Redrum on Parker.

Caster and Parker screamed in pain as they instantly tapped out. The two coldhearted pro wrestlers kept their holds on for a few seconds before they let go.

Luke and Hook got up and stared each other with their coldhearted, serious looks on their faces. After a few seconds of the two's stare down, the son of Taz stuck out his hand and nodded in respect for his WWE counterpart. The Nomad nodded too and shook hands with Hook. The coldhearted young star got out of the ring and walked out of the ramp to the back.

Luke stayed in the ring and took in the cheering crowd as he stood in the center and raised his WWE Intercontinental Championship while Hook stood on the ramp and a small smirk showed on his face, showing respect as he gave Luke a small applause as AEW Rampage came to an end.
