Chapter 29: Rebellious Tour: NJPW
(A week later)
It was now back to work for Luke and Liv, the two left Baguio for Manila and got on two separate flights as the Nomad continues to provoke Vince and company by showing up at outside companies, as for Liv she is holding down the fort back home as she is booked for SmackDown.
(With Liv)
Liv was at catering and sat down to eat with Cesaro.
Cesaro: hey Liv, where's Luke?
Liv: oh Luke is on a rebellious tour
Cesaro: a rebellious tour?
Liv: he is making appearances outside of WWE to piss off Vince
Cesaro smirked.
Cesaro: I saw you two's appearance on that Philippine Wrestling Revolution
Liv: that is just part one of Luke's tour
Cesaro: what's part two?
Liv: well he is in Japan now
Cesaro: oohh, I guess we'll see if he is livestreaming via satellite
Liv: yeah, so do we have anything tonight?
Cesaro: well, the two of us are going to the ring because Vince, Laurinaitis and Prichard have a plan
Liv: well we can count on each other
Cesaro: yes
The two solidified their alliance with a fist bump.
(Meanwhile with Luke)
The coldhearted, rebellious Nomad was driving around Tokyo until he drove up the Tokyo Dome where New Japan is holding a live event. The Nomad hopes to confront the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Jay White, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay or the one guy who is on his list, Minoru Suzuki.
Luke got through security checkpoint and entered the Dome with his Intercontinental title on his shoulders. The NJPW young lions led Luke to the backstage interview area with the background showing the New Japan logo with their sponsors. The camera was set and connected to a computer so WWE can see it too.
(Back with Liv)
The show started and the three headed corporate dragon made their entrance while the live audience booed them. They got in the ring and Vince got on the mic.
Vince: alright alright alright, all of you people shut up so we can get to business
The people still kept on with the boos.
Vince: we are here to announce a blockbuster main event, but first I want to have a civil conversation with my TLC opponent Luke Ardiente, so Luke please get out here now
Luke's theme played, but there was no sign of the Intercontinental Champion, making Vince and his executive allies confused. The music stopped playing and Vince was starting to get irritated. The Chairman of the Board tried again.
Vince: Luke, get out here now and don't disrespect me
The Nomad's theme played again, but again there was no sign until Vince heard Luke's voice.
Luke: hey Vince! Vince up here!
McMahon was shocked to see Luke on the Titantron, but he was more shocked to see the background behind him.
Luke: you may wonder where I am, and you can tell because of your look on your face. That's right Vince, I'm here in Tokyo on New Japan Pro-Wrestling
The crowd reacted with oohhs while the Nomad smirked.
Vince: what the hell you think you're doing making appearances for other companies, you're supposed to stick to the WWE!
Luke smirked as he knew he got inside the CEO's head.
Luke: two words Vince... Forbidden Door. And your grapefruits must hurt because you see the Intercontinental Championship with your company logo together with the lion of NJPW in the same room, huh?
Vince was now getting agitated.
Vince: you better get your ass straight on a plane and on a direct flight back here and you better not go out to that company's ring
Luke shook his head while he was still smirking.
Luke: nah, I think the Japanese crowd deserves to see a WWE Superstar inside a New Japan ring. I'll see you soon, McMahon
Luke waved his fingers goodbye with a smirk and left the New Japan interview area while Vince was shouting.
Vince: Luke you better not! Luke! Luke!
The Titantron went black and the CEO was livid and too angry to even announce the main event. McMahon exited the ring and power walked to the back while Laurinaitis and Prichard followed him.
(Back in Japan)
Luke smirked and knew he got inside Vince's head; he then saw on his phone, courtesy of the WWE app, tonight's SmackDown main event featured the two TLC match participants as Cesaro and Liv will team up in a huge mixed tag team main event against their opponents, Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns.
Luke: whoa, hell of a preview for TLC
Then the Nomad turned to see on a TV, the main event for the event, a one on one match between Jon Moxley and Lance Archer.
Luke: oh Mox is here too
(In the ring)
Moxley and Archer were trading shots, but Archer kicked Mox in the gut and looks to end it with the Blackout, but the former Dean Ambrose got out of it and nailed the Murderhawk Monster with the Death Rider also known as the Paradigm Shift and the Dirty Deeds.
However, as Mox went for the cover, the ever familiar ominous violin tune played.

Moxley turned around to see the leader of Suzuki-gun making his way down the ramp with his creepy grin on his face.
Moxley smirked and stuck his tongue out while he begged for Suzuki to bring it, however Mox was ambushed from behind by Archer.
Suzuki got in the ring and joined in the beat down.
(In the back)
Luke: that is my cue
The Nomad grabbed his Intercontinental title and walked to the ring.
(Back in the ring)
Archer and Suzuki continued their beat down, but they were stopped as the two Suzuki-gun members heard the entrance music of the Nomad.
Suzuki ordered Archer to keep beating down Moxley as Death himself stuck out his tongue and taunted Luke as he walked out to a roaring applause from the Japanese crowd.
Luke looked around the Tokyo Dome while he raised his WWE Intercontinental title; then he turned and stared down at Death himself, Minoru Suzuki. The Nomad walked down the ramp and got in the ring and dared stepped up to Suzuki-gun leader, showing no fear on his face.
Luke and Suzuki continued their stare down until it was stopped by Archer, who attempted for a right hand punch, but the Nomad ducked it and took down the Murderhawk Monster with a big German suplex.
Suzuki could only grin and nod, also showing no intimidation on the Nomad. The two men then trash talked each other and then started to trade shots while Moxley took care of Archer on the outside.
Suzuki and Luke continued to trade forearm shots until they stopped and Suzuki laughed and stuck his tongue out. Death nodded in approval and fired with a slap to Luke's face in which the Nomad laughed it off.
Luke: that's what you want, huh?
Luke responded with a slap of his own to Suzuki's face, while the Nomad taunted him.
The two traded a few more shots until Luke got Suzuki up and took Death down with the Super Polymerization. The Nomad sat up, turned to Suzuki and smirked.
Luke saw Moxley threw Archer back in the ring and the Nomad got him in the fireman's carry position for another Super Polymerization.
The Nomad and Mox gave each other a respectable nod before the exited the ring. Meanwhile, Suzuki was laying flat on his back and then camera zoomed in to see him laughing
The Japanese announcers commented that Suzuki liked the tussle with the WWE star.
Suzuki stumbled out of the ring and walked on his own power and hits one of the New Japan young lions.
(In the back)
Luke packed up his stuff and checked on his phone to see the final moments between the huge mixed tag team match on SmackDown.
(Liv Morgan & Cesaro vs. Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns)
(Final moments)
Reigns attempted for a Superman Punch, but Cesaro countered with a European uppercut, making the Universal Champion stumble to the corner where Becky tagged herself in.
Liv ran in and tackled Becky down for mounted punches. Meanwhile, on the outside, Cesaro neutralized the Usos with uppercuts and send them over the barricade. Back in the ring, Liv fazed Becky with the step up enziguri and looks to end it with the ObLIVion, but the SmackDown Women's Champion held on to the ropes and hits the Manhandle Slam.
Becks held on to the ropes and attempted for the pinfall, but Cesaro got the referee's attention and pointed out that Becky held on to the ropes, causing the referee to point out the illegal tactic and break the count much to the chagrin of Big Time Becks.
Becky was arguing with the referee, but that proved to be a big mistake as Liv rolled up the SmackDown Women's Champion for a pin, but the champ kicked out, however, Liv took down Becky with the ObLIVion for the momentum pinfall count for her and Cesaro.
(In Japan)
Luke cheered and clapped as he saw the result of the match.
Luke: Vinnie Mac, whatever you, the Balyena and Clown Shoes had in plan ultimately failed
The Nomad smirked as he grabbed his bags and left the Tokyo Dome for the airport to get on a direct flight back to America.
