I walk out of my third period class and over to my locker to exchange some books. Scott's waiting at my locker for me. "Hey.." he looks up at me and he breaks out into a wide smile. "What brings you to my locker?" i ask, He shrugs. "Just wanted to see you."

I smile but it's fades as I hear Montgomery and Luke whistling at us. "You two have fun last night?" Montgomery smirks. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Scott has the same expression. "How would they know about last night?" i question Scott, he shakes his head. "I-I don't know."

I scoff. "Did you tell them about last night?"

He looks at me in disbelief. "No! Of course not!"

I narrow my eyes at him before I open my locker. A picture flies out. Scott picks it up. His face expression changes immediately and his jaw clenches. "What?" i wonder out loud, He shakes his head. I snatch the picture from his hand. It was a picture from last night... it was of Scott hovering over me with his shirt off, kissing me. I slam my locker door shut and I walk until I find Tyler. I slap him like I did to Bryce. "What the fuck Tyler?!" i shout, He grabs his face in pain. "What?"

I huff and I show him the picture. "You were fucking stalking us?!"

He furrows his eyebrows in confusion. "I didn't take those Rae. I swear."

"Bullshit. Then who did? Who else has a reputation of being a stalker?"

He shakes his head. "I swear to god, Rae!" He puts his arms up in defense. A familiar hand then grabs a hold of my hand. "Come on." Scott pulls me next to him. "Awe, look who's being a protective boyfriend." Montgomery says in a baby voice causing Scott to lose his temper, leaving my side and his fist punching Montgomery's face. I curse under my breath. Scott pushes Montgomery to the ground, punching him repeatedly. Montgomery then gets a hold of the collar of Scott's shirt and he pulls Scott down next to him and gets on top of him. "Get him Monty!" Luke cheers his best friend on. I tug at my hair trying to think of what to do. But Montgomery is now kicking Scott in the stomach. Montgomery then kicks his nose and I hear a god-awful crack. "Monty! Stop it! Monty get the fuck off of him!" i plead, He doesn't budge. The whole school just circles around us. "Monty stop! He's gonna pass out! Please!" i plead once more, Montgomery moves his hands to Scott's neck and I practically scream. "Monty!"

Scott tries to remove his hands from his neck but he doesn't budge. "Okay man, that's enough!" Luke tries to pull him off when Zach takes matter and helps. They manage to pull him off. And coincidentally that's when Mr Porter and Principal Bolan come out, I rush down to Scott. hes not responding. "Scott! Scott please! Please wake up!" I hold his frail face in my hands and tears stream down my face. Mr porter comes down to where we are. "Everyone get to class!"

I run my fingers through Scott's hair. "I can't lose you too." I whisper with my raspy voice. I then hear sirens. A group of paramedics come in with a gurney. "Ma'am please stand over there." one asks, I stand up slowly and I watch them pull Scott's body on the gurney and they roll him out of the building. Mr Porter comes up to me and rests a hand on my shoulder. "Come with me."

We walk to the front office and I just sob. "Zachary Dempsey and Montgomery De La Cruz please come down to the front office." Mr Porter says over the intercom. They do. I glare at Montgomery and Mr Porter tells Zach something before he walks over to me. Zach puts a hand around my arm and pulls me up. He pulls me into a side hug and he walks me out to the car. He opens the car door for me, makes sure I'm in properly and then he goes to the other side to get in and we drive somewhere.

- at the hospital -

We arrive and walk in. I'm a bit calmer now. We walk to the front desk. "Hi. Uhm we're here for Scott Reed.. I'm his friend and she's his— girlfriend." I furrow my eyebrows at him. He doesn't acknowledge it. "You can have a seat in the waiting room." She points us to the waiting room. Zach nods. I see Mr and Mrs Reed sitting there. Mrs Reed stands up and gives me a hug. "He's strong.. he'll get through this." I sniffle. "He's gonna be okay.." I nod. She pulls away from the hug. Her hand still on my arm. "You okay sweetie? You look pale.. come— have a seat." We sit down. "I-I'm sorry.. I tried to get him off.." My voice is still raspy. She nods. "I know.."

The doctor comes out. "Mr and Mrs Reed?" They nod. "You can come on back." I check the time and it was now lunch. I see Jessica, Alex and Clay walk through the doors. I stand up and I hug Jessica. "He's gonna be okay, Rae." I let out a quiet sob again. "I can't lose him Jess." She rubs small circles on my back. "I know.."

It was now 1 o'clock. Zach was taking a nap and the others left. The doctor and Mr and Mrs Reed come out. Mrs Reed sniffled and I stood up immediately. "I-is he o-okay?" I walk closer. "Are you his girlfriend?" I lie, "y-yes." He nods. "Come with me please." Each step I take I get a flashback from when I was going down this hall figuring out if Jeff was gonna be okay. We make it to his door. I sigh as the doctor opens it. I walk in and I see Scott, laying there, a black eye, a bandage thing over his nose, hair messy, but yet he still managed to look perfect. "Scott.. you have another visitor." I wipe my tears. "Are you finally gonna let me see Rae?" I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. His eyes meets mine. A smile grows on his face that i copy. He opens his arms for me to give him a hug. I go and I sit on the bed and I run my fingers through his hair. His soft, dirty blonde hair. "I was asking for you." I giggle. "You scared the shit out of me." His smile fades. "I'm sorry." He says softly. "You get in a lot of fights for me." He shrugs. "and I'd get into a thousand more." his smile widens. "Yet you don't win any of them." He scoffs. "Shut up." He laughs, causing me to laugh.
