Aradhya Purohit's POV

"So I'll start" Dinesh said, his eyes glowing with an wicked plan. Uh oh.........

"Hmm.... So whom should I give this dare of mine?" Dinesh said smirking a evil smirk.

"Anurag!"

"Aradhya!"

Me and Anurag chorused. Seeing our reaction Dinesh's smirk widened. "I have a great idea!" He said, "how about I give you both a same dare?" he continued wiggling his eyebrows.

"OH HELL NO!" We both again chorused. I looked at Anurag and gave him a disgusted look, and in return he stick his tongue out at me. 

"Oh so it's fix! You both are going to sneak in the seniors' tent, and apply toothpaste on their faces." Dinesh stated.With.A.Smirk! God how much I want to wipe that smirk up.

"What if-" Anurag started but was cut off by Dinesh, "Oh no if you refuse this, I will eat all your chocolates and will conduct the same dare on you guys" he said, already knowing Anurag's obvious question.

"Alright" we both again chorus-ly grumbled in our mouth. I looked around to others for some support, that they will oppose him and save me. But no! They have to pat his back. Traitors!

"So what are you guys waiting for? Go! Go! Go!" Saying this Dinesh nearly kicked us out of the tent, "here!" Shri said handing us the toothpaste.

Me and Anurag looked at eachother then sighed a long sigh and made our way towards the seniors' tent.

"God how many times I have to tell you to stay quiet?! Just try not to get us kick out of this camp!" Anurag whisper yelled at me. "Oh yeah and you are being as quiet as a cat right?" I accused.

We are in the seniors' tent right now, and we are trying to stay quiet and apply toothpaste on their faces. Keyword trying.

I applied the paste on one of the seniors face. Hands shaking, me sweating. Anurag was doing the same to other senior.

We both were concentrated on the work in our hand when we heard a growl. We quickly became alert and started searching for the source of the voice.

Looking here and there. I caught a shadow moving in the corner of the entrance of the tent. It moved again, I gestured Anurag to look at the shadow.

The shadow growled again. I panicked and clutched Anurag's hand into mine in a tight grip. He gave my hand a reassuring squeeze and gestured me to the opposite direction of that shadow.

There was a another exit there! I silently thank the God. As we were making our way towards the exit, I heard some movement outside. Guess it's the wind I thought.

We made it safely out of the tent, but suddenly we heard the same growl. I looked at my left and saw a very pissed dog. Wait! DOG?? Oh my god! "ANURAG RUN!" I yelled and clutched his hand and ran away faster than light.

But I guess the dog's speed was also faster than light. Because he was right behind us.

Down to earth

Keep falling when I know it hurts

Going faster than a million miles an hour-

Wait! Why am I singing infinity in my mind right now?? I think I have lost it completely.

I was so lost in the song that I didn't pay any attention to where I was running off to. So when Anurag shook me I came to my senses.

Two things happened at the same time. One positive and one negative. The positive thing is, the dog is not chasing us anymore! And the negative thing is we are lost.

"My guesses are you don't know where we are and we are totally lost." The annoying Homo sapien opened his mouth.

"Wow! I didn't knew that you actually use your brain! That's a first!" I exclaimed. He threw me a glare and his eyes started roaming at the surroundings.

I also took this chance to glance at it. And what I saw stole my breathe away.

I was standing right in the middle of nature's beauty. In front of me was a dense forest, so dense it will be hard to see clearly even during daytime.

Below me was a dark green grass, which was shining in the moonlight because of the moisture on it.

Above me was the endless sky filled with stars, planets, asteroids, galaxies and many unknown wonders.

In the middle of the sky was the proudly shining Moon. The moon was looking more beautiful today.

The clouds were looking like the lazy travellers. Travelling on a slow pace, enjoying the trip.

A distinct sound of a waterfall was audible in the stillness of the night. The sound was like a soothing music to my ears, I can get lost in that sound.

A cool, mild breeze was there, blowing onto my face, bringing calmness to me. Crickets were chirping here and there, but it wasn't chaotic. The leaves of tree were swaying on their own rythm.

Suddenly my eyes fell on Anurag's figure. Because of darkness I wasn't able to notice the details but it was enough light for me to observe his face.

He was looking so beautiful. The moonlight was highlighting his sharp features. His dark brown eyes were shining brightly, flashing more whenever he looked slightly upwards. His face was the masking calmness and his eyes held a certain ease in them which made me feel relax and safe.

"I know I am handsome, you don't need to make it more obvious by staring at me and drooling." Anurag's voice snapped me out of my thoughts and my hand went quickly to my face, checking if I was really drooling or not. Of course I wasn't!

"Oh gosh! How can a person be so full of themselves?!" I said "I wasn't staring at you, I was observing the tree behind you!" Yeah lame me. Anurag just snickered at my lame answer.

"Do you have any idea how are we going back?" He asked sitting under a tree and closing his eyes. I copied him, just kept my eyes open.

"Oh don't worry! It's not the first time that I'm lost" I shrugged and said, "they will come here searching for us." I continued. "And what if they don't come?" He opened his gutter of mouth. "Well Mr. they aren't heartless like you so they will come." I gave him a fake sweet smile.

He just hummed in response and kept staring ahead. "Why aren't you panicking?" I asked, genuinely curious. "Maybe it's because I am enjoying here?" I looked at him weirdly and left it there.

There was a silence for few minutes. But then I decided to break it. "Hey! Let's dance!" I said excitedly. "Ok I know that you have a loose connection up there in your head, but it was this bad I didn't knew" he said.

"Oh shut up chaman and come on let's dance" I said. "Well but there is no music and why do you want to dance right now!?" He asked. "We have our mobile phones and I am just killing the time, we have a whole night ahead for god's sake!"

He shook his head, cursed under his breathe and got up. I happily clapped and took my phone out and played some random song.

He looked at me and raised his eyebrow "Now what dance are we gonna do?" He asked, "oh ballet! What else!" I said sarcastically. His eyes widened and he said, "Wha- are you serious?!" I rolled my eyes and said, "of course not you idiot! I don't even know how to do that!"

I continued, "listen just loose up a little bit and do whatever you want to do! Like the dance you do when no one watching you!". "Eh, you see I have never danced like that" he said.

I looked at him and blinked and blinked and blinked. "Okay! No problem! You can follow my lead then" I said shrugging. He visibly relaxed and gave me an 'Ok'

The song was unknown to me but it was good to dance. So I started dancing according to the rythm and song. From the corner of my eye I saw Anurag trying to follow me. Keyword again trying.

I face plamed and took his hands in mine and started jumping around. Soon he also joined in. We both were laughing so hard. We were still holding our hands. He was turning around and me being me stumbled when I was halfway through the turn.

"Woah- o-oops!" I stumbled into his chest and his arms came around me. Steading me. My back was touching his chest and I looked up grinning at him and said, "Thanks a lot Ragu!"

He raised his eyebrow at my new nickname for him and just smiled at me in return. We danced for some more time then we got out of breathe and collapsed on the grassy land.

I looked at him grinning, only to find him already smiling at me. "It was fun, wasn't it?" I asked and he nodded his head. We both were out of breathe now.

We started chatting after that. Gazing at the stary sky I got to know more about Anurag.

It was cold out here now. So I snuggled up into Anurag, he didn't protest also. He was also cold I guess. Anurag was telling me some story when my eyelids started dropping and I didn't knew when I fell asleep in his arms. But before I completely fall into the slumber I felt his arms tightening around me.
