The Old Woman (Horror)

As a child, I lived in the calm town of Gunreul. It was a small town in Japan, barely on any new google map.

My family had a medium sized house with a big, beautiful garden that was surrounded by tall oak trees. Most of the garden was the basic Japanese peace garden, in the corner was a small white rose patch. Complicated evil banishing charms hung from the trees apart from the small corner with the rose patch.

I had a dog, a small Bulldog and German Shepard mix called Dashy. He was a lovely dog, his life coming to a sad end one day.

One day, I was with Dashy in the garden. We played a simple game of chase, Dashy chasing me.

Happy memories were made in the first half of the day, the next half. Was hell.

Dashy began growling suddenly, half way through our simple game. His eyes were trained to the corner with the patch, his teeth bared in a horrid snarl that made him look terrifiying.

"What is wro-?" I cut myself off, following the gaze of my beloved dog.

There was a woman. She was impossibly tall, almost twenty foot. I remembered my grandfather once told me about Hachishakusama, a Japanese version of Slenderman. The woman was two feet taller.

The woman wore a yellow sun dress, flat yellow shoes that led up to black tights that disapeared under the sun dress. A yellow sun hat sat on the woman's black waist length hair, showing off her almost grey skin. Her eyes were a black hole of hell, her lips dyed red.

She stood in the rose patch, just out of reach of the evil banishing charms reach.

"May I come in?" She asked, her voice so deep it was like a off tune piano that barely ever worked.

I tried to think. What do I do? Do I let her in?

No.

Grandfather always said that the most horrible demons asked for permission to enter the site of a banishing charm, which always led to death of the person that let them in.

"N-No." I stuttered, my shaking like a leaf in a storm.

The woman's face turned into a horrible snarl.

"Brat." She spat. "Let me in!" She shrieked, her longs spider like arms slamming down onto an invisible barrier.

Dashy began to howl, his head tipped back.

The woman flinched, her eyes narrowed in anger.

"Pathetic mutt!" She howled, her fists banging harder on the barrier.

I was terrified. My small little heart beating like a drum.

The woman disapeared once Dashy made a run for her.

Years later, Dashy passed away.

I was in the garden one day.

A snarl ripped through the air, just like Dashy's when that woman appeared. I whipped around to the rose patch.

My heart stopped.

My eyes widened.

A dark grin was on the woman's face.

"Little mutt is gone," She cooed.

I gulped, my hands begining to shake.

No.

She could not be here.

Dashy got rid of her, for sure!

"Now your mine."

The woman leaped for me.
