Ezra woke up from his nap feeling hot and sticky. He whimpered as he felt a headache coming on and gently stood up. Deciding not to fully stand up to make his already pounding headache worst, he just stayed on his fours like he did when he was a kid.

He walked/ crawled into the living room where Kanan and Hera were sitting but stopped their talking when they saw the distressed Anthro. Kanan reached down and picked him up into his lap. Ezra straddled him and buried his face in the crock of his neck. Kanan gasped as he felt how hot he was and pulled Ezra away from his neck to put a hand to his brow.
"Force Ezra! Your burning a fever!" Hera swapped his hand for her hand and frowned. "Come on Love, let's get you to the Med Bay."
Kanan picked him up after he reburied his head in his neck and went to the Med Bay.

They saw Sabine and Zeb on the way and explained the situation which resulted in everyone going.
Hera stuck a thermometer in his mouth as he laid on the bed. He whimpered as the beeping sounded causing his headache to spike. Ezra figured his hearing was sensitive do to being sick and said softly, "Can you please stop that stick? My head is pounding." Hera nodded and quickly took a look at the number before turning it off.
But as she did, her eyes widened, "Um... your temperature is 115. How is that possible?" Ezra sighed and said softly again, "Great now we have to go to my planet." They looked at him like he was crazy.
Ezra slide off the bed into his hands and paws, crawling to the cockpit. They followed after him and watched him crawl into the pilots chair, typing in coordinates. Once the Ghost was is hyperspace, Ezra said, "We'll be there in about an hour. But for now I need to cool down." They followed him intrigued.
They watched him go to the kitchen and grab to bag up ice. He sighed and hauled it up into his arms as he stood for the first time. He winced as he felt his headache spike up again. He turned around to his crew and said, "I know you have questions and I will answer them after I get this to Med Bay." They nodded and Zeb pulled the ice from his arms.

They walked into the Med Bay and Ezra went to the tub and started the water. He grabbed the ice from Zeb and poured all the ice. He started taking off his shirt and then his shorts leaving him in boxers. He turned off the water and he sighed.
"This is going to suck." Zeb chuckled and said back, "Oh it will" Ezra chuckled back and slowed stepped in, quickly sitting down. He sighed shaking and said, "Ok now I'm ready for questions." Kanan quickly said, "Why are we going to your planet?" "When Anthro's get sick, it's a whole world of bad. Most of them eventually die if they don't get treatment." They looked towards each other worried, "Then what's on your planet that others don't have?" Hera asked. He smirked, "A state of the art Medical center designed to specifically take care of Anthros. Plus, all of it is free because most planets donate because of our species." They all furrowed their brows at that. Sabine asked, "What is so special about your species?" Ezra looked at her shocked, "You don't know?" They shook their heads, "Ok an Anthro's fur is one of the most prized item in all markets. It's so soft that people make clothes and sometimes poach us. Scientists also like to study behavior and anatomy which is what the the center provides." They nodded in understanding.
"What is the name of your planet?" Sabine asked curiously. "Anthrin." "How do you know so much about it?" Kanan questioned. "I was originally born there but moved to Lothal after I was born and then I got sick at five so we had to go back for about three months." They nodded but before they could ask anything else, Ezra started coughing. After he stopped and said he was fine, did Hera ask, "Can you tell us about your planet?" Ezra smiled, "Ok I'll tell you what I remember. I'll start with the people.
The parents who have kittens are very protective of their litters." "Wait litters?" Sabine questioned. "When female Anthros are pregnant, there is always multiple, never one." "Then were is your litter?" He looked thoughtful for a second before saying, "I was the first recorded child to have no litter. Ok on with the people. The mothers are so protective that if they don't meet the parents and then sniff you, you can't even talk to the kitten. And the kittens have to wear collars and leashes which the mother holds. My mother made me wear one when I was in the hospital.
Anyway, the culture is pretty cool. You could basically get milk and catnip anywhere. There are also stores but you'd probably call them pet stores where you get the collars and leashes. The clothing is also amazing. Most of the clothing is made up of our fur so it's so soft.
Well that's pretty much all I remember. Any more questions?" "Yeah, what's catnip?" Zeb asked. "It's this mixture of plants that drive Anthro's crazy because it smells good." They nodded but were interrupted by a beeping that caused Ezra to groan as it restarted his headache. Hera ran out to pilot the ship while Ezra got out of the tub shaking and he pat down his fur with the towel Kanan passed.
He quickly slipped his shirt and pants on and let Kanan pick him up. They all went to the cockpit and gasped at the beautiful planet. It was like Naboo but less trees and swamps and way more civilized. She quickly spotted a large building and said in awe, "Is that the Medical Center?" Ezra whimpered at her voice and coughed again but harder. He nodded and then sneezed a small sneeze. They smiled at the sneeze but frowned as they saw a shiver pass through him. Kanan said softly, "He's getting worse" Hera quickly landed the Ghost at the port connected to the Center and a team of Anthro doctors on call rushed to the ship. They opened the ramp and Kanan laid Ezra out on the stretcher they brought and followed them inside.
They all looked around in awe of the architecture but their focus quickly went to Ezra again. They pulled him into a room and they were told to wait outside while they checked him over.

While waiting, they saw a store down the hallway and decided to check it out as it was one of the things Ezra talked about.
They entered to find rows of collars leashes and clothes at the back. Hera went to the the leashes and toys while Kanan went to one of the nametag machines and started making one. Sabine and Zeb went to the clothing to checkout the softness like Ezra requested. After touching one shirt, they immediately wanted all of them.

They spent 30 minutes getting things for themselves and also some for Ezra. Kanan got Ezra a name tag that says,
                        'Ezra Bridger
        Please return to Kanan Jarrus'
It hung on a silver chain and Hera got a leash that was as bright as her green skin and squeaky toy ship that looks exactly like the Ghost. The 'kids' got two shirts each which was surprising that they had Zeb's size and also an outfit for Ezra which was a stripped sleeveless hoodie with kaki shorts.
They quickly paid for everything and went back to the hallway to wait for news.

They waited outside for 30 minutes before a blonde Anthro that they recognized from before stepped outside. "Where's his litter? I'm surprised their not here." Was the first thing he said. Kanan decided to say, "He doesn't have one. That's Ezra Bridger." The doctor looked at him shocked and said, "The Ezra Bridger?!? I should of recognized the fur color but anyway, he didn't look so good when he came in. He has cold and heat flashes, headaches, coughing, sneezing, and his hearing is sensitive." Suddenly, they could all hear retching. "And now vomiting." The crew looked towards each other worriedly. The doctor continued, "We need to run more tests before we know for sure what the problem is but we will try our best." The crew nodded and Hera said "Can we see him?" He nodded and opened the door. They walked into the large room to see a now pale and sweaty Ezra. Hera went up to him and ran a hand through his hair. She smiled as she heard his light purring start but frowned as the doctor came back in. Ezra gently sat up and looked into the doctors sky blue eyes, "Get Dr. Almo, only she can help." And his eyes rolled back as he passed out.
The doctors eyes widened as the name came out of his mouth and he reached for his comm and said "Code navy, Dr. Almo. Code navy, Dr. Almo."
They waited in silence till a black Anthro stepped into the room.
"I see it's almost time." She said. "What is almost time?" Kanan asked.
"I'll tell you outside and Dr., don't put any meds in, he has to be awake."

Once they were outside, the doctor immediately started explaining, "There was once a prophecy foretold that an Anthro will mutate or change into our natural forms. The prophecy also said that the kitten will have no litter like Ezra. I knew he was the chosen one when I delivered him."
The crews mouth dropped as they heard Ezra was the chosen one but all were quickly interrupted again as a roar sounded through the air. The doctors eyes grew wide, "The change has started." They all ran inside to see Ezra tossing and turning while hollowing.
The doctor yelled, "Turn the lights off. Hurry!" Zeb quickly did so as he was closest and they were plunged into darkness.
After a few minutes of whimpers and loud roars, it all stopped.
The doctor sighed and said gently "You may turn the lights back on."
As they did they gasped as they looked at the new animal sitting on the bed.

They all watched as he jumped down from the bed to stretch and shake out his mane. He trotted over the Hera and Kanan after to start rubbing against their legs. They smiled and petted his back and mane causing the effect of purring making Hera smile even wider that her favorite reaction was still in affect.
The Doctor called Ezra back over to the bed making him jump up onto it. He sat obediently and listened to Dr. Almo as she said, "Ok Ezra, imagine yourself as yourself from before. But once you do this you will be extremely tried." The cat nodded and they watched as the fur slowly grow inwards and his legs grow longer and straighter.

After he was done, his navy eyes rolled back and he fell onto the pillow. "You may take him home now but if he changes again please beware of his nails and teeth." They nodded and Kanan picked up the light kid.

On the Ghost, they placed Ezra in Kanan's room to wait for him to awake.
After an hour of waiting, he finally came out in his normal clothes. He sat down and looked at them in the eyes as they all were seated on the couch, "Wasn't that an experience?!?" They chuckled at the first thing he said but Kanan said, "You mind if we ask you a couple questions?" Ezra shook his head, "Nope" Kanan nodded, "Did you know about the prophecy?" Ezra nodded again, "Every Anthro knows about it. That's why they have a code at the Center about it."
Sabine suddenly asked, "Oh yeah we got some clothes for you." She out the bag from under the table and passed it to him. He smiled as he received the bag but Hera said, "We also got you something. We know about how the young wear collars and leashes so we got you one."
Kanan pulled it out of his pocket and Ezra grabbed the oval tag. He easily slipped it over his head where it hung in the middle of his chest and then got passed a blue collar with a bell which he explained, "This goes on the tail. Hey, this reminds me of the one I owned when I was little." They watched as he flicked his tail to in front of him and slide it on.

After everything was done and Ezra had changed in his clothes did Zeb ask, "Can you change into your other form?" Ezra nodded and went outside the door for a second to strip his clothes, not wanting to ruin them.
He trotted in a minute later and they could see the silver chain around his neck still. He sat down in front of them.
'Kanan, can you hear me?' Kanan jumped at the sudden voice and said back through the bond, 'Yes' 'I have something to show The crew.'
Kanan said to the others, "He apparently has something to show us." They nodded and watched as Ezra's claws grew from his enormous paws and they slowly grew brighter. Once they were a bright blue like Kanan's light saber, did he open his mouth and show how the same thing happened with his canine teeth. They stared at the bright blue cat and Kanan said in awe, "Are those what I think they are?" The cat nodded respectively. "Are what?" Zeb asked roughly. "His claws and teeth are now like light sabers, they slice through anything." They looked at the cat and Sabine said, "Wait I want to test this. Ok Ezra slice through this." She threw a yogan off the table and expectingly Ezra slice it with a simple paw swipe.
Ezra's paws suddenly lost their glow and he went and left the room to return a second later back in clothes.

"Did you know you could do that?" Kanan asked suspiciously. Ezra smiled and nodded. "Yeah it was foretold on the prophecy. Didn't Dr. Almo tell you anything." They nodded and said "Just not that" Ezra nodded. "Oh wait I got a toy from the store." Hera said suddenly and she pulled out the Ghost toy. He gasped and said "Please tell me it squeaks." She smirked and nodded. He took it and quickly grew his teeth and bit into it. They all chuckled at his childish actions and jumped when he suddenly said, "Wait I want to show you something." He jumped over the table and before he could run out the door, Hera yelled, "No jumping over tables, Ezra Bridger!"

He came back a minute later with a small squeak toy but it looked exactly like the phantom. They smiled as they saw it and he said, "I got this when I was on my planet and now I have a matching pair."

They talked till dinner which was nice for Ezra since they just got a fresh batch of milk and meat. After everyone said goodnight and everything, Ezra went to Heras room deciding to sleep in there. Once he hopped into her bed she smiled and draped her arm across him to pull him closer. They both fell asleep smiling that night from an exhausting day.
