For this chapter, I'm going to use POV's. And yes I suck at doing them so please leave it in the comments or give some ideas. And thanks kalyanahalford Hope you enjoy!

Ezra's POV
From the moment I woke I knew I was ill. My stomach wouldn't stop churning, I felt like I was thrown in a volcano over night, and felt like the world was spinning. 'I should tell The crew I'm sick... No they probably have other things to deal with. I've delt with sickness before'. I got up to go to breakfast even though I wasn't going to keep anything down so they don't get suspicious.
When I got to the kitchen, I sat down and put my throbbing head down. "Hello sleeping beauty, hungry?" Hera asked me. Just the mention of food made me want to throw up. I shook my head, not trusting my voice. Sabine spoke next "Ezra's turning down food? Well that's a first". "Well just be ready for practice today." Kanan said. I nodded and stood up. I grabbed the wall for support and made my way back to my room. 'I hope this passes in a day or two.'

The crew's POV (minus Ezra)
Once Ezra was out of the room, The crew shared worried glances. Sabine was the first to break the silence, "Was it just me or did Ezra seem off?" "He did seem pale and sweaty but he would tell us if he was sick wouldn't he?" Said the Jedi. Hera looked to Kanan with a worried face, "Kanan please look out for him. If he is sick, send him to his room with fever reducers." He nodded and walked out of the kitchen to get the sick child up for training.

Kanan's POV
I walked to Ezra's room, worried if he was actually sick. 'Why didn't he tell us?'
I walked in to find the teen on his bed, asleep. I smiled and walked up to him. I saw some sweat on his forehead but decided to think about it later.
I shook his shoulder and watched as he cracked his eyes open. "Come on, we have training." Ezra sighed and stood up. I noticed he had bags under his eyes and wobbled when he stood up also. 'I think he might actually be sick. Let's find out at practice'

Once we were outside, I told him we were doing light saber fighting. He sighed and activated his. I thought he liked light saber training.
I continued to instruct how to block and dodge but he seemed to be distracted. "Ezra, stop. What is bothering you? You aren't focused and seem distracted." He was about to answer, when he started to sway on his feet. Oh no. His eyes rolled back and legs gave out underneath him. I caught him before his head hit the ground, pulled out my comm and said " Hera get the Med Bay ready. Ezra just passed out." "Copy that". I picked him up bridal style and started walking to the Med Bay.
When I picked up Ezra, I noticed out hot he was. I could feel the heat through my clothes because he was so hot.
I walked into the Med Bay to find Hera already ready for him. I laid him down on the bed and Hera approached him. Once she touched him, I could tell she felt the warmth too. "Help me take his shirt off." I walked up to the passed out kid and sat him up. Hera and I were finally able to remove the sweaty shirt and I'm just now noticing how ripped Ezra is. He has a six pack and his arms were huge! I ignored that for now touched his stomach with Hera. She looked at me worried and ran off but came back with a thermometer.
She stuck it in his mouth and walked over to a counter that had a bowel of water with a rag. She ringed out the rag and walked back and put it on his forehead.
The thermometer started beeping and Hera took it out. I saw her eyes widened and thought 'Is it that bad?'

Hera's POV
"106, he should be dead" I said.
His temperature is way to high! I looked at the worried Kanan and an idea came to me.
"Kanan I need your help" He nodded at me and I sighed. 'I was hoping to never use this on one of us'. "I need you, Sabine, and Zeb to get the bags of ice out of kitchen and bring them in here." He looked at me confused before I saw it click in his eyes. He nodded and ran out. I looked at the sweating child. 'Please get better Ezra. We still need you.'

Zeb's POV
Me and Sabine were in the kitchen talking about what happened to Ezra but we didn't want to get in the way of 'Mother Hen' Hera.
Kanan came running in and looked at us. "I need your help. Get the bags of ice out of the freezer and get them to the Med Bay."Sabine and I nodded and grabbed the bags from the freezer.
We ran into the Meb Bay to find Hera filling a tub with water and Ezra who is sweating like crazy with no shirt.
Man, that kid is ripped!

Hera's POV
Finally, their here! I finished filling up the tub with water now all I need is ice. I told them to come dump the ice while Zeb gets the kid. 'I hope Zeb can keep him down'. I started dumping ice when Zeb asked "What's his temperature?" I look at him "106" I hear Sabine gasp, "He should be dead!" "I know! This should help bring his temperature down." I replied.
Zeb came over with the pale Ezra in his arms, bridal style, and looked to me. "Zeb, when you put him in the water he will wake up. Sabine and Kanan, I need you to hold him down. This ice bath should help his temperature but if not, we have another set of problems. Zeb come on over and remember to hold him tight. He should pass out again after a few minutes." I said to them all. They all grab chairs that were around the room and surround the tub. Let's hope this works works.

The crew's POV
Zeb slowly lower Ezra into the water but once Ezra touch that water, he woke up instantly with a gasp. He started thrashing around trying to get out and was soaking The crew and floor. He grabbed on the sides of the tub and he started chanting "Too cold, too cold!"
After a good 3 minutes of fighting, he slowly started to stop thrashing and was fighting to keep his eyes. "Go to sleep, Love" He stopped fighting and slowly closed his eyes. His breathing evened out and The crew let out a breath they didn't know they were holding. Hera took his hands off the side where he was still holding and put it in water and Ezra gasped in his sleep.
Sabine was the first to ask the ask the question everyone wanted to know, "How long does he have to stay in the ice bath?"
"15 minutes but he should be unconscious the entire time though and Kanan can you go get a pair of sweats from your room?" He nodded and went to get them. Zeb started to roll his shoulders and neck, "Man, that kid is strong" "Yeah, when me and Kanan took his shirt off we were surprised as you." Hera said. She got up and went to get the heart monitor and IV bag she set up before Kanan brought Ezra in.
She went and attached the monitor and was about to do the IV when Ezra peeled his eyes up "Pl-please, n-no ne-needles" he stuttered out through his blue lips. "I'm sorry but I need to. Just go back to sleep and it'll be over soon." He nodded his head making his navy blue hair dance in the water and Sabine couldn't help but run her hand through it. He melted at the touch and tried to relax.
Once Hera saw his heart rate even out along with his breath, she put the IV in. Ezra whimpered in sleep but went back to shivering. Kanan came in with the sweats, put them on the counter, and to sit with the others. He looked at everyone, then at the shaking teen, and then back at them. Ezra whimpered again and Kanan ,this time, ran his hand through his hair. He stopped whimpering and relax at the contact. Kanan continued to do that while they were talking, "What Sabine said about being dead, was that true?" Zeb asked 'Mother' Hera. "Yes, any temperature above 105 is fatal. I'm surprised he lasted that long." They then all heard a weak chuckle, "Th-thanks." Ezra said while still shivering. He peeled open his eyes and everyone smiled. Zeb rolled his eyes, "Still sarcastic as always" Ezra ignored the the comment and said "H-how much l-longer d-do I have t-to stay i-in here?" Everyone looked to Hera and she said "8 more minutes but it would pass... Never mind." Everyone looked back at the kid and saw he passed out again.

The 8 minutes passed quickly and Ezra didn't wake up again much to everyone's surprise. Hera looked Zeb, "Go ahead and lift him out. You can put him back onto the bed" Zeb nodded and reached into the icy cold water and lifted out the blue boy. He laid him down on the bed and Hera already had the thermometer ready. She stuck it in his moutwh and waited for it to beeped like the rest of us. Once it started to beeped, she pulled it out and looked at the screen. "God Ezra stubborn as always"

Hera's POV
"105, I need y'all to leave for a minute so I can get Ezra into the sweats then I'll need you get some things." They nodded and walked out. After a few minutes, I was able to get Ezra into the sweats and called the rest in. When they saw Ezra in the big sweats, they couldn't help but chuckle. He was swimming in them but I need to get his temperature down and then laugh. "Ok Sabine go get the cold saline, Kanan and Zeb go get the ice packs." They all nodded and ran off to get the things I asked for. I leaned down over Ezra and kissed his forehead. "Get well soon, son." I whispered in his hair. "I'll try mum." He whispered back to me. I was beyond shocked but smiled anyways. They all came back with the items I asked for and I started to direct them. "Ok start putting those on him and Sabine come help me with the saline." She came over and we changed the IV bag and looked to find Ezra surrounded by ice packs. "Let's hope this works." Kanan said. I nodded and said "Let's go get something to eat. We'll come back in 30 minutes to check on him." They nodded and walked out to go to the kitchen.

Ezra's POV
Once I woke up, I realized I was surrounded by ice packs. And an IV. 'Might want to leave that in. I don't want Hera mad, especially when she's in Mother Hen Mode. But I want my blanket. I'll just bring it.' I reached up and grabbed the bag off its hook and hopped off the ice packed bed. I wobbled for a minute feeling dizzy but I waved it off.
I went into the hall and suddenly realized I have no shirt and I'm in someone else's pants. 'Too bad, there comfortable'. I made it to my cabin and grabbed my blanket and Loth cat plushie.
I made it back to the Med Bay without falling or stumbling surprisingly but I still feel like I was melting in a volcano. I hook my IV back up and laid down on the ice packs on my side. I cuddled with my blanket and stuff animal and slowly dosed back off into an icy sleep.

Kanan's POV
Once we finished eating and talking, we made it back to the Med Bay. And when we walked in we were surprised. Ezra had his blanket and Loth cat. None of us got those from his room. Hera huffed, "He could have asked, at least he kept his IV in" We all laughed at Hera's madness. Sabine walked over to one of the chairs with her cup of water she brought from the kitchen but slipped on some the water on the floor but before she hit the ground she stopped in mid air. They all looked at me but I put my hands up and shook my head. We all looked to Ezra to see him with his arm out towards Sabine. He lifted her on to her feet and put the water back into her cup. But what he did next surprised even me. He motioned he's hand upward and all the water on the floor lifted up into the air and back into the tub. We looked back at him to see him drop his hand and mumble, "clumsy people". We just stood there frozen until Hera started to move to the counter. She then moved to Ezra and put the thermometer in his mouth. I then realized Ezra was passed out. I smiled and said "he's unconscious."
The thermometer started beeping and Hera looked at it. She smiled so it's a good sign. Thank the Galaxy.

Hera's POV
"102, that's a big improvement. His temperature should be normal in a few days hopefully." Kanan sighed so I knew he was happy.
I went to the other side of his bed and put the ice packs against his back. I also made sure he's vitals were good and his IV was good too. I looked to the others and said "Let's let him rest." They nodded and walked out along with me.

A few days later
I was giving Ezra a checkup to make sure he was good and looked like everything was fine. But then I wanted to say something to him. I grabbed his arms, looked him in the eyes, and said "Ezra I need to you to know we will be here for you. You don't need to be alone anymore" He smiled at my words. What he said next warmed my heart to the point of melting. "I know mum, and I the same." I pulled him into my arms for a hug.
After I cleared him, he went to catch up with the rest of The crew and left me to my thoughts.
'Man, how can such a wonderful and amazing kid, have such an awful past.'
Out of nowhere, Ezra peeked his head back in the Med Bay and said to me "Sometimes you go through rough times, but if you make it though, you'll get something amazing in return." He smiled and finally left for good and left there to pondered his words.
'He's wise beyond his years.'
