Roman was sitting next to Logan's and his shared fireplace. He currently had tears running down his face. He started to sing.

"I saved every letter you wrote to me"

He remembered when he first met Logan, oh how charming he was! The thing is, he didn't know how Logan was never satisfied. When he was introduced to Roman, he didn't know what would happen later in his life. He never saw how his brother, Remus, was also in love with Logan. He was so Helpless...

"From the moment I read them" Roman continued, "I knew you were mine,,, You said you were mine~.." Roman was still in tears. He was sitting next to the fire, he wanted comfort more than anything.

"I thought you were mine," He said heartbroken.

~~New Setting~~

Roman and Logan were arguing, "Do you know what Remus said when we saw your first letter arrive?!" Roman exclaimed, all the while Logan shook his head.

"He said, 'be careful with that one, love'" Roman took a deep breath, and continued repeating what Remus said to him, " 'He will do what it takes to survive' "

"You and your words flooded my senses, Your sentences left me defenseless. You built me palaces out of paragraphs, you built cathedrals!" Roman said, reminiscing the past.

~~Back to the first setting~~

"I'm re-reading the letters you wrote to me" Roman mumbled, tearfully. "I'm searching and scanning for answers in every line" He continued mumbling, trying to search for some kind of sign that Logan actually loved him. And when Logan(you) was(were) his(Mine), The world seemed to burn for Roman....

Burn...

~~New Setting~~

Logan and Roman were fighting, Roman found out about the affair. It broke his heart. "You published the letters she wrote you!, You told the whole world, how you brought this girl into our bed!" Roman said, whilst tears ran down his face. He couldn't believe Logan could do this to him. He thought he was loyal. "In clearing your name... You have ruined our lives!" Roman shouted at Logan. Trying to make him understand the heartbreak and emotion he is feeling just through his broken words and crying. Of course, the ever emotionally stunted nerd Logan is, he didn't know Roman was hurting, he thought Roman would get over it. It wasn't that simple though, it could take days, weeks, months, or even years to get over it. Sometimes, they don't simply 'get over it'.

Roman started to head for the door, seeing if Logan would call him to stop. But no, he let him continue. Roman halted his steps, and began speaking, "Do you know what Remus said when he read what you'd done?" Roman asked, looking over his shoulder to see Logan's answer. All he got in return is a simple shake of the head, indicating that, no, Logan doesn't know what Remus said after Logan published those letters of his affair.

Roman just 'tsked', "He said, you've married an Icarus. He has flown too close to the sun' "

Logan's eyes widened, he didn't know Remus said that about him. And he certainly thought he wasn't an Icarus.

Roman suddenly turned around, face full of a new fury and passion. "You and your words, obsessed with your legacy," Roman said, starting to stalk towards Logan, with tears in his eyes.

"Your sentences border on senseless" Logan was starting to back up from the furious Roman. "And you are paranoid in every paragraph" Logan was coming to an end, he was going to hit the wall, he was going to be cornered by Roman.

Roman was about a foot away, getting closer with every stride. "How they perceive you" Roman was now faced to face with Logan, Logan can see the bloodshot eyes, the tear tracks, and the dull eyes Roman bears.

"You," Roman said, jabbing Logan's chest. "You," again, "you!" And again, before collapsing into Logan's chest, heaving for breath. What Logan failed to notice that Roman was crying heavily every time he was jabbing Logan. Logan wrapped his arms around Roman, trying to calm him.

~~Back to the First Setting~~

Roman was still sitting by the fire, now with letters in his hand, planning on burning them, "I'm erasing myself from the narrative," Roman was staring, and re-reading the letters, he then started to lift the letter and put it next to the fire. "Let future historians wonder how Roman" He brought the letter right over the fire, but far enough to not light on fire. He had both his hands on it. "Reacted!" He said, ripping the note apart. "When you broke his heart," He said, truly heartbroken. "You have torn it all apart," He said, whilst tearing the other notes.

"I'm watching it burn," Roman said, seeing the fire woosh and grow from the torn letters he threw in.

"Watching it burn," He said, watching in satisfaction as the letters burnt to a crisp. He kept burning the letters, accidentally burning himself once or twice. He then sat there, watched the fire with satisfaction while saying, "The world has no right to my heart. The world has no place in our bed. They don't get to know what I said."

Of course, he was crying, but he was also happy. "I'm burning the memories, Burning the letters that might have redeemed you!" He knows that the future historians would wonder what he wrote, he also knows that these letters might've redeemed Logan. That is why he burned them, he didn't want Logan to be redeemed, he doesn't deserve to be. He also burned the letters out of emotional turmoil, he might regret it later, he might not, you may not know.

~~New Setting~~

Logan and Roman were fighting for the second time that day. "You forfeit all rights to my heart!" Roman yelled, he was furious, he didn't want to see Logan anymore, but he wanted his children to have another adult figure.

Roman doesn't want to share the same bed as Logan. He hurt him, terribly. "You forfeit the place in our bed, you'll sleep in your office instead"

"With only the memories of when you were mine" Roman knows Logan would remember their happiest memories, and that Logan would now know what he did and what he would be missing.

Roman pointed to the door, indicating that Logan has to get out of the bedroom. Logan didn't put up a fight, he simply turned around and walked to the door.

Roman said one last thing that made Logan suck in a sharp breath.

"I hope that you burn..."
