Prompt: Could you do a stereo kicks one shot where Reece feels left out of the band since all the attention going to Charlie so Recce starts to distance himself from them but the boys notice and make him feel better

When the boys of Stereo Kicks boys were on tour they would constantly check on Charlie because they knew how emotional and young he was. While they were constantly looking after Charlie they forgot about the slightly older northerner. Being on x factor tour, the boys didn't have much time to do anything in general, but with all of there free time focused on Charlie, Reece started feeling left out and started to distance himself from the rest of them band. Charlie of course immediately noticed his best friend being isolated by the boys and tried to constantly spend time with him, like having sleepovers when they were home or making sure that they were paired together for promos since they were too young to share a hotel room alone. Charlie's attempts didn't always work though when the boys were shooting their cover of Blank Space, Charlie was being coddled so much by the boys that he didn't notice that it was hurting Reece's feelings.

"Let's try that with Charlie having half of the 2nd verse" Tom said, taking initiative for the band.

Charlie smiled, knowing that he was in a big band and that it was near impossible for him to have a solo without the other boys harmonizing. Reece however frowned, he thought that it sounded fine the first 10 times they recorded it with him harmonizing with Charlie during the verse. It wasn't him being bitter though, Reece was just frustrated that they had been filming for over 3 hours and that the boys haven't talked to him once other then criticizing his guitar playing.

"Come on Reece get it together" Barclay said, as he messed up the guitar cords.

"Sorry" Reece mumbled looking down as the boys talked among themselves.

Reece knew that even though it was 'recording time' that it would take a long time for the guys to focus again. So Reece took his chance and put his guitar against his chair before sneaking up stairs into his and Charlie's room. He groaned and jumped face down into is bed, he just wanted the day to be over so he could rant to someone without fear that that the boys would overhear. Instead he texted his mom for a few minutes explaining what was happening before she had to leave to go to work, then switched his phone on silent and closed his eyes keeping his screen on. He was asleep before he could see the concerned texts from Charlie.

After a while Charlie couldn't believe that none of the boys had noticed that Reece left, "Um guys where's Reece" he asked trying to see if any of the boys would prove his observations wrong.

"Ur-" Casey paused, "His guitar is here?"

"Reece, bud where are you" Tom called out, "I'm gonna find him," He then adds before rushing up the stairs, knowing that he would most likely be somewhere up there.

Reece had fallen asleep, and was lying face down on his bed. Maybe he's sick Tom thinks, walking towards the younger boy to feel his forehead. Tom then saw Reece's phone, he tried not to read the text messages that were displayed on the screen because that was an invasion of privacy, but then he saw a few text messages between Reece and his mom. The messages that had caught Tom's eye, broke his heart. He made a sad face and patted the boys leg before walking back downstairs, Tom needed to make a plan.

The 7 boys were all huddled sitting on the Charlie's bed or on the ground in front of Reece. He was still asleep and all the boys wanted to make it up to him, even by doing something as small as going out for ice cream. Jake had made a plan, they were going to all going out for ice cream that day and then for the next week they would all hangout with him in alternating pair. Although this sounded extremely forced, it wasn't all of the boys wanted to make up for the lack of attention they had been giving Reece, after all he was their 'little brother'.

When Reece woke up the first thing he noticed was that there were 7 other people in the room. Then he noticed his own anxiety was growing, he was scared because he knew that he was probably be getting a telling off for leaving the middle of work, but he felt it melt away in surprise when he felt two arms wrap around his body, Barclay had engulfed the smaller boy in a massive hug, apologizing for snapping at him earlier, explaining that he had been stressed out.

Reece looked over to Charlie confused while the younger boy gave him a shrug. Half nodding at Charlie, Reece asked, "Why are you all in our room it's kinda tiny"

"We're gonna get ice cream," Chris smiled looking at his friends who including him were all squished into a room meant for one person.

"We were waiting for you" James added, making his voice soft to signal that they wanted to be there, not to say that he had kept them waiting.

Reece nodded again and stood up straitening his clothes and shaking out his hair. He followed all the boys down the stairs and into the car, noticing that they let him sit shotgun, despite him being one of the smallest ones in the group. Then he smiled because even if it was a tiny jester it showed that the boys still cared about him. He took his phone out and texted him mom
