"I said I'm not feeling well. Leave me alone!"

"No! Everyone's downstairs. You will come down"

"For fuck's sake! Leave me alone!"

"Watch your mouth!"

"Jesus..." Walker said and banged the door.

"I'm not gonna tell it again," Jessica shouted when she heard Susan walking up the stairs.

"What's going on?"

"Nothing. Everything's fine"

"Is it really?"

Jessica gave her a look, "It is... what are you doing here?"

"I had to use the bathroom"

"Then go..."

"Jesus, Jess, relax"

"I can't!" Jessica shouted and left. Returning back to the kitchen. Susan looked at her as she was leaving and then looked at the closed door. She went closer and knocked softly, "Walker?" she whispered but no answer came from the other side until she opened the door, tentatively. "Walker?"

"What?" Walker said and turned to look at Susan.

"What happened?" Susan asked, closing the door behind.

"I only said I need a few minutes alone and she kept yelling and yelling as if I'm a little child"

Susan chuckled, "Well, in her eyes you'll always be her little boy, you know that," she said and took a seat on the bed next to him.

"There are times that I really can't stand her, she wants to control everything! Even my feelings"

"That's how she is, you've got to accept it."

"I didn't want to come here in the first place"

"And why did you?"

"Because I knew she wouldn't like it if I said no"

"That's true"

"See!" Walker said and sighed

"Walker, you know you can talk to me"

"I got nothing to say"

"I can see that you're not so good" Walker shrugged and looked around, "And your mother can see it..." Susan continued.

"It's just that... I miss him, Susan"

"I know..."

"We used to spend the holidays together and its hard... every year gets harder and harder"

"Well... Christmas can be depressing"

Walker chuckled, "True"

"But you have to understand that your mother is going through the same emotions. Its hard for her as well at least you've got each other"

"Well, she seems she's handling it pretty well..."

"Oh, no... she's not."

"She's not?"

"No..." Susan replied and shook her head. She opened her arms, "Come here..." she said and smiled. Walker looked down and fell into Susan's arms, feeling her hand stroking his hair.

"You haven't talked with her about all this yet?"

"Every time I try to she cuts me short"

"Maybe she's not ready yet"

"Maybe..."

"Whenever you feel like that I want you to talk to me. It's good to let it all out."

"Okay"

"Now, you still want your time? Your mother made roast beef..."

"You know... I think I'll stay here for a while"

"Alright, take your time" Susan replied and stood up, she stopped in front of the door when she heard Walker. "Susan?"

"Yes?"

"Thanks"

Susan smiled and left the room. She walked downstairs and found Jessica her kids, grandkids, and Jack sitting already on the table, eating. She took a seat next to her lover and filled her glass with wine. "Well thanks for waiting..." she said and looked at Jessica who sighed and puckered up her lips.

"Where's Walker?" Shura asked as she took a sip from her glass

"Upstairs, he's coming" Jessica replied with a smile and looked over at her grandkids. "Come on, eat"

"We're eating alright" Ilse replied with her mouth filled making Jack chuckle.

"Mom, you should try this..." Jack said to Susan while eating the beef.

"Mom's a great cook," Hannah said and looked at Jessica who was smiling.

"If only you were cooking so good" Jack laughed referring to Susan's cooking making Susan laugh.

"Shut up..." Susan said and hit his shoulder when all of a sudden Walker walked downstairs. Jessica looked at him, her anger was evident but yet she tried to hide it.

"Finally... come on Walker" Adah shouted when she saw him coming to their side. He took a seat next to her and smiled.

"Five... Four... Three... Two... One... Happy New Year!" Everyone shouted and started hugging each other. Susan finally went to Jessica's side and wrapped her hands around her waist, "Happy New Year" she said and placed a kiss on Jessica's lips, "Happy New Year" Jessica replied and smiled.

"Goodnight," Walker said and kissed Ilse's head while hugging Adah

"You're going to bed so soon?"

"Yeah... I'm tired" Walker replied and left. Jessica looked at him and closed her eyes, trying to calm her self. Finally, she walked into the kitchen and Susan followed her.

"Hey, hey, hey," Susan said while running to Jessica's side who was slamming the dirty plates into the dishwasher.

"What?!" Jessica said and glanced up to look at her lover.

"Calm down"

"What do you want, Susan?"

"I want you to calm down!"

"I can't! So go back inside"

"Fuck..." Susan whispered, "You're unbelievable" she continued and stormed out of the kitchen.

"What's going on inside?" Jack asked when he saw his mother drinking the whole glass in one single sip.

"Nothing. Nothing..." Susan said and shook her head.

"Look... Hannah is going out, I bet I can convince Shura and Walker to join us. The kids are already upstairs, so you'll have time to talk"

"We didn't fight"

"You didn't?"

"No..."

"Then why are you like this?"

"Jack, come on" Hannah shouted while wearing her coat.

"I've got to go"

"Go... everything's fine"

"You're sure? I can stay here"

"No, no, go have fun"

"Alright" Jack replied and picked up his coat, he looked at Shura, "You're not coming?"

"Of course I am..." she laughed and then turned to Susan, "Just wait a second," she said and walked into the kitchen to inform Jessica. Susan looked at them, smiling when finally Shura, Jack and Hannah left.

Susan picked up the glasses and walked back to Jessica who was still angry, she placed the glasses next to the sink, "Let me help you"

"I've got it..." Jessica said and started washing the glasses without even looking at her lover.

"Come on, I want to help"

"I said I got it!"

"What's gotten into you?"

"Nothing"

"Jess..."

"I'm alright. Period."

"Stop it! Stop!" Susan shouted and closed the water, she grabbed Jessica's shoulders and spun her around to face her.

"What the fuck are you doing?!"

"Tell me, why are you acting like this all of a sudden?!"

"Jesus, Susan, get off my back!"

"Talk to me!"

"I don't know what do you want me to say!"

Susan stepped back and looked at her, "I can't stand you when you're acting like this..." she said and walked out.

By the time Jessica finished, Susan was outside still drinking, Jessica stopped in front of her, "It's Walker... I don't know what to do with him"

"What do you mean?"

"He's not... he's not good and I don't know how to handle this"

"Well, if you tried to talk to him, ask him to tell you how he feels now everything would be different"

"Did you talk to him?"

"I did"

"And?"

"What?"

"What did he tell you?"

"Why don't you go upstairs and find out yourself"

Jessica sighed, "I'm sorry"

"For what?"

"For the way, I acted"

"Jess, go talk to your son"

Jessica nodded and walked slowly towards the stairs, she walked upstairs and stopped in front of Walker's room, "Walker?" Jessica whispered, trying not to make any noise that would wake her grandkids.

"What?" Walker shouted and with that Jessica walked inside, she closed the door and found her son lying on the bed, he rose up and took a sitting position.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you"

"I'm sorry too"

"You know... I remember your first Christmas... your father had to work and Shura stayed with her father. So I took you and your sister and we came here. Before midnight your father walked inside with one of his friends dressed as Santa. Your sister went crazy, running around him..." Jessica sat next to him and chuckled, "You were so tiny, you could fit into your father's palm..." she said and opened her palm.

"You miss him?"

Jessica looked at him and nodded, "I do..."

"I miss him too"

"I know you do... I didn't want to ruin your day"

"Mom, you didn't..."

"I want you to talk to me, Walker. Whatever it is... I want you to know that I'll always be here for you."

"Alright..."

"Look... I know the things I said about your dad weren't always nice but he was a great man and I loved him... I still do."

"Is just that every year gets harder... I miss him so much and I don't know if you feel the same way, I feel like you don't" 

"Walker I miss him more than you can imagine..."

"All I wanted from you was to talk to me, tell me how you feel"

"Well, you know now," Jessica said and smiled, she went closer and hugged her son, giving a kiss on his forehead. "I love you so much"

"Me too..."

"Your sisters went out with Jack, don't you want to go out with them?"

"I could go... yeah. You want me to leave the house?" Walker chuckled

"Not if you don't want to... why are you laughing?"

"If you want to stay alone with Susan you could tell me you know"

"Jesus... no, Ilse and Adah are here. I just thought you would want to go with them instead of staying here with us"

"You know I really like her"

"Susan?"

"Yeah... She really cares about you"

"I know... She cares about you too..."

Walker smiled, "I'll get ready and then call Hannah"

"My car keys are on the table next to the door"

"Thanks"

Jessica stood up and looked at her son, smiling. She walked out and saw her grandkids tiptoeing towards the stairs, "Now, where do you think you're going?"

They stopped and looked at each other, "We... um" Adah whispered

"We want our gifts"

"Well, you have to wait till morning. Now go back to bed..." Jessica said and looked at her grandkids walking back into their room. She chuckled and walked down back to her lover. Susan was standing in front of the fireplace, holding her glass filled with whiskey this time.

"Susan?"

"Hmm..." Susan opened her eyes and turned to look at Jessica.

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"For everything," Jessica said while walking to her side. She took her pack of cigarettes from the table and lighted up one. Susan looked at her, smiling. "How are you?"

"I'm good..." she smiled

"You really pushed my buttons, woman"

Jessica chuckled, "Sorry," she said, blowing the smoke to the side. She turned around when Walker walked downstairs, "I'm out"

"Have fun"

"You too," Walker said and left the house.

"So I assume you two talked"

"We did"

"See, it wasn't so bad... he's feeling the same as you do Jess"

Jessica smiled and took a sip from Susan's glass. Susan looked at her and leaned her head on Jessica's shoulder. She closed her eyes. "I could stay here forever"

"You say that every time we're far away from home"

"I only say it when we're together far away from home..."

"Is that so?"

"Hmm..." Susan replied and wrapped her arms around Jessica's waist, pulling her closer to her body. "It was wonderful tonight. And the food was delicious although I didn't eat much"

Jessica chuckled and tilted her head to the side, "Now is the part where I ask you if you want me to make you something to eat and you say I'd..."

Susan chuckled and cut her short "I'd rather eat something else... yeah"

"I know you, Ms. Sarandon" Jessica said while laughing.

"So what are we gonna do about it?"

"Well, I've got something in mind"

"Yeah?"

Jessica smirked and nodded while raising her eyebrow.

"Tell me..."

"How about I'll show you..."

"I like that better"

"Gimme five minutes and then come in my room"

"What will happen if I'm late?"

"Oh... you won't"

"No, I won't," Susan said and kissed her lover, running her free hand up and down Jessica's back until the younger woman stopped and stepped back. "Five minutes," she said and walked away. Susan chuckled and took a sip from her glass.

"Jess?" Susan whispered when she entered her room and locked the door. The bathroom's door was closed, she looked at Jessica's pack on top of the nightstand and took a seat on the bed's edge.

"I'm coming..."

"What's taking you so... " Susan stopped when Jessica opened the door and closed the lights. The only light they had was coming from outside, she stood in front of the door and smirked. "Wow..." Susan continued "You are..." she said while shaking her head.

"Beautiful?"

"More than beautiful," she said, her eyes glued on Jessica's perfect figure. Jessica blew the smoke to the side and with her free hand she took a hold of the black negligee's edge and lift it in order to fix her, same color, garters. "You're breath-taking..."

Jessica glanced up and let the negligee fall right before her knees. "I remembered how much you wanted to buy these for me"

"And you bought it yourself?"

"Not really..."

"No?"

"I already had the garters..." Jessica said and walked slowly to Susan's side. "Could you wear this for like... always?" Susan chuckled.

"With the kids in the house, I don't know, Sue..." Jessica put out the cigarette and smirked.

"Oh... then I guess we have to kick the kids out of the house..." Susan said making Jessica chuckle. The younger woman parted her legs and sat on top of her lover, wrapping her arms around Susan's neck.

"I guess..." Jessica whispered, feeling Susan's fingertips stroking her arms. She bitted her lips and tilted her head to the side.

"God..." Susan closed her eyes and started placing kisses all over her cleavage. "You're driving me crazy" Susan said between her kisses. Hearing Jessica purring like a kitten. "Am I...?"

"I was watching you tonight, the way you talked, the way you looked at me and God... all I was thinking of was this moment"

Jessica took hold of Susan's hands and placed them on her back, she lifted herself and pulled her into a deep kiss, making her lover moan. Without separating their lips Susan crawled on the bed's center with Jessica still on top of her. Finally, she broke the kiss and looked at Jessica, she stroked her cheek and chuckled, "I missed this... it's been so long..."

"It's not easy with the kids here"

"You still have to be quite tho, the girls are sleeping"

"Honey, stop talking," Jessica said and locked her lips with Susan's once again. She pushed her on the bed with her back and started unbuttoning her shirt when all of a sudden Susan roll them over with her being on top.

Susan placed her leg between Jessica's legs and parted them. "You know I don't like someone ordering me..." Susan said and attacked Jessica's neck. Her hands found the hem of Jessica's negligee and she lifted it up, stroking her thighs. She looked down and took a minute before she undid the suspenders. Jessica arched her back, feeling Susan's hands getting closer to her center.

Susan didn't bother to roll down the stockings and went straight to remove her panties, pulling it down and eventually throwing it to the side. She fell from the bed and kneeled right in front of Jessica's core. "Wait..." Jessica said and looked at her lover.

"What is it?" Susan asked confused.

"Did you lock?"

"Of course..." Susan chuckled and pushed Jessica's center closer to her face, "We wouldn't want someone to interrupt us now, would we?" she continued, her face just a few inches far from her lover's core. Jessica chuckled and moaned when she felt Susan's tongue lapping up her wetness.

"Fuck..." she exhaled and dug her fingers into Susan's soft locks, pulling her closer.

Susan kept sucking and nibbling Jessica's throbbing center, feeling her own center dripping by hearing Jessica's throaty moans and when she was sure that Jessica was wet enough she started teasing her with her fingers, making her lover lose her patience.

Jessica let lose of Susan's locks and reached for her own breasts, rotating them slowly. "Ahh... Faster" Jessica shouted and immediately she heard Susan, "Keep it down, Jess," she said and increased the pace her fingers worked, her tongue went back on Jessica's clit. She knew that Jessica was close so she stopped and took out her fingers.

"Jess, you have to keep it down"

"I will, please don't stop"

Susan smirked and pushed her fingers back inside, more forcefully, she thrusted them faster than before until a loud moan escaped from Jessica's lips and then silence. She felt her walls getting tight around her fingers and removed them, placing her mouth to where her fingers were in order to taste her lover one final time. "Fuck... Susan" Jessica said out of breath and rose from the bed to meet her lover's mouth. She gave her a peck on the lips and took a hold of Susan's face when Susan opened wide her mouth.

Only then Jessica realized that Susan's free hand was still between her own legs. "Ahh... Jess" Susan gasped when she pushed her fingers into her slit and kept thrusting them inside. Jessica immediately fell in front of her lover and started nibbling her skin. "Don't stop, honey" she whispered.

Meanwhile downstairs the door opened and Shura walked inside along with Jack, Hannah, and Walker, laughing. "Keep it down," Shura said to them, not wanting for her kids to wake up now.

"God... I miss New York" Jack said making Walker chuckle

"Why?" Hannah asked.

"The bar was empty for Christ Sakes! I don't know why you insisted on staying!"

"It wasn't so bad..." Walker said while taking off his coat.

"Well, you're gonna love it here, it just takes time to get used to it" Shura replied while walking upstairs.

"We're leaving in two days and I don't think I'll ever get used to it..."

"So soon?" Hannah asked and they all followed Shura upstairs.

"Yeah..." Jack said and they stopped when they heard Susan chuckling.

"They're not sleeping..." Walker said and smiled until they heard Susan's chuckle turning into a deep throaty moan. His eyes widened.

"Jesus... Jess!" Susan shouted and then silence.

"Cover your ears and try to sleep," Shura said and walked into her kids' room accompanied by her sister.

"Easy for you to say, our room's next to them!" Jack whispered and walked into the room with Walker.

Jack was the last one to wake up, he walked downstairs and into the kitchen, finding everyone inside, eating breakfast. Everyone except Ilse, Adah, and Hannah who were outside.

"Well, good morning there," Susan said and smiled when she saw her son taking a seat next to Walker. "Coffee?" Jessica asked and passed him a mug.

"Yes, please," Jack said and smiled.

Jessica poured some coffee into his mug and accidentally spilled some on Susan's clothes "Fuck... sorry"

"Jesus, Jess!" Susan shouted making everyone laugh except Jessica. The two women stopped and looked at the kids, laughing. "What's so funny about it?"

"Nothing..." Walker said, trying to hide his laughter

"Talk" Jessica commanded.

"Well, I remember hearing the exact same sentence last night," Jack said while laughing.

"Oh, yeah, I remember it too..." Shura continued and took a sip from her coffee.

Jessica looked at them and then turned to Susan. She puckered up her lips and chuckled while leaning on the counter. Susan's eyes widened.

"Oh come on don't feel ashame"

"Yeah... Jesus, Jess..." Walker said making everyone laugh.

"Shut up," Susan said and started laughing as well.

"What are you talking about?" Hannah asked walking into the kitchen.

"Nothing"

"What happened?" Hannah said referring to Susan's clothes

"Oh, mom spilled coffee on her clothes..."

"Oh..." Hannah said and sat next to her brother, "Jesus... Jess!" she continued making everyone laugh again.
