Jessica was resting comfortably on her couch, with her glasses on and her eyes glued on her phone, sneakily watching some t.v. from time to time. It was around eight p.m. and as usual, her phone started buzzing.

"About time" Jessica chuckled while talking on the phone.

"Yep, are you tired of me, yet?" Susan joked from the other line making Jessica laugh and bit her lips.

"Not yet but I'm getting there" she replied, changing a bit her voice. She snuggled her knees.

"Oh, please let me know, I don't want to be a burden, Lange"

"How are you?"

"I'm alright, going through some scripts they sent me, nothing special. You?"

"You know, same, went out today, bought something for the living room, I'm starting to lose my mind in here"

"Why don't you come live with me then?"

"Honey, we agreed not to stay together from the very beginning and you know why"

"Am I gonna see you tonight?"

"No, I don't think so, I'm not really in a mood, I think I'm gonna go to bed straight after we hang up"

"You want me to come over?"

"Told you I'm not gonna be the best of companions for tonight but do as you wish"

"You know I don't mind"

"Well, if you feel like it but we're going to bed"

"Sure as hell we're going to bed"

"No, I didn't mean it that way, Sue" Jessica chuckled when all of a sudden she heard someone knocking on her door, "Who is it?"

"You expect anyone?"

"No, I don't think I do. Must be Hannah" she said and stood up, "I'll call you alright?"

"Yeah, sure"

Jessica walked by the door, "Who is it?" she yelled

"It's me"

A familiar voice from the other side made Jessica wonder, she opened the door slightly, "Sarah?" she finally said and opened wide the door, smiling, Sarah stood there with a huge smile on her face, looking at her, "I don't know if I should hug you, I mean, you got the virus?" she said and laughed

"Well, as far as I know, I think I don't" Sarah replied and opened up her arms. With that, Jessica fell into her arms and closed her eyes. They stood there for several minutes until Jessica took a step back, "Come on inside" she said and let her friend walk into her house.

"I'm terribly sorry for coming uninvited at this hour but the truth is I was just passing by, came to see one of my friends in the neighborhood, and" she stopped when Jessica chuckled and shook her hand, "Look at you, going on and on and on, it's okay Sarah, I wanted to see you, you did good, coming up here"

"So, aren't you gonna offer me a drink or something?" Sarah said and laughed, avoiding looking Jessica in the eyes.

"Oh, my... Of course, what do you want?" she asked and stood up

"Whatever you're having" she replied and smiled.

Jessica took her phone and disappeared into the kitchen. She immediately opened it and called Susan.

"Hello" Susan yelled, making Jessica smile.

"Hey, you weren't sleeping, right?"

"No, I was waiting for you, can I come see you?"

"Well..." Jessica whispered, she continued, "Hannah came to see me" she lied. Knowing that Susan would flip out if she's told her the truth.

"That's fine, just call me in the morning okay?"

"Of course, goodnight"

"I love you"

"I love you too" she replied whispering the whole time and placed the phone on the table, she sighed.

Jessica returned back inside holding two glasses with Vodka in them and sat across her friend, "So tell me, what's new with you?" she said and looked at her.

Two hours passed and both were on their third glass, laughing uncontrollably when all of a sudden Sarah stopped and looked at her friend something that didn't pass unnoticed from Jessica who while still laughing: "What?" she asked

"What the fuck are you doing?"

Jessica's expression suddenly changed, she looked at her confused, "What?"

"You heard me alright. What the fuck are you doing?" Sarah said again and took a sip

"I'm not following you, what is that mean?"

"I mean, what makes Susan so special? Walking around the city with her. There are photos of you two everywhere on the internet"

Jessica looked at her and chuckled, she crossed her arms, "I see, well, what made Holland so special to say that you love her at the Emmys?"

"We weren't together when that happened"

"And we're not together so what's your problem with me going out with Susan"

"Are you and Susan together?"

Jessica thought about it for a moment, when everything started both Jessica and Susan agreed that it was better to keep it low and tell it only to their families but now it seemed that she had no other choice but to say the truth.

"Are you?" Sarah asked again

"No, we're not" she replied eventually

"I'm not bitting that, Jess"

"Even if we are, what's your problem? We were never together and you're with Holland"

"We were never together because you didn't want us to be together, remember? I was begging you to go out with me, you made me delete photos of you on Instagram, you never wanted me to talk about you just because people would think that we had a thing. We were hiding from everyone and look at you know, walking around the city with your new girlfriend. So what's so special about her. What does she offer you that I couldn't?"

"So that's why you came here in the first place? To make a scene?"

"Answer me"

"You won't understand..." Jessica replied and lighted up her cigarette

"Try me"

Jessica sighed and blew the smoke to the side, "You think I don't love you but I do. I still do. I never stopped and never will. I care about you more than you could ever imagine. I cried because of you and I regret letting you go. But I wanted you in my life, as a friend. I need you. So I decided that it was better to cut it while I could" she said and looked at the ceiling, trying to hold back her tears, "You've got to understand my situation. I was breaking up with Sam and boy..." she stopped and bit her lips, she exhaled, "I loved him with all my heart. I didn't want to get into something serious and by the time I realized it I had already fallen for you so I stopped it as soon as possible." Finally, Jessica wiped her tears and took a drag from her cigarette. "If you ask me now, yeah, I sometimes wonder how different our lives would be if we were still together but you'd lose so great things because of me... one way or another I kinda helped you. You found Holland and me... I found Susan"

"But I would do anything for you"

"That's not love, Sarah. I can't give you what you want, I could never..."

"I wouldn't mind as long as I had you"

"What about Holland? You love her?"

"I'm crazy about her"

"See, you don't need me"

Sarah sighed and looked at her. Finally, she smiled, "I'm sorry, I just needed to let it out"

"No, you did the right thing. I still love you if that's what you wanna hear. And I still think about you."

"Me too"

"I know..."

With that Sarah stood up and walked in front of Jessica, she kneeled down and took hold of her hands, "I missed you lady Lange" she whispered and rested her head on Jessica's lap.

Jessica looked at her and closed her eyes, leaning back her head. She felt Sarah placing kisses on her thighs and moving her lips all the way up to her neck, "Please don't do this to me" Jessica whispered whilst having her eyes closed. "Fuck" Sarah whispered and chuckled, she looked down on Jessica's legs, "I..." she started and finally locked her eyes with Jessica's "I really, really, really want you." she added

"I can't do this to Susan, Sarah"

"I don't wanna do this to Holland as well but I just can't stop thinking of you. I need you so bad"

Jessica could see the lust in Sarah's eyes and maybe for the first time. The truth was that she needed her as bad as her Sarah but couldn't stop thinking about Susan.

"Do you" she stopped and cleared her throat "Do you remember the first time we had sex?"

"Why are you doing this?" Sarah said and laughed

Sarah started placing kisses above Jessica's t-shirt and when she finally reached her destination she removed her Jeans along with her panties and threw them on the floor. Sarah wasted no time and parted her friend's legs, she stood in front of Jessica's center. "Please, Sarah"
