*BEFORE INFINITY WAR*

It was just like any other day in school. Ned, MJ and Peter would all hang out at lunch at their table. MJ would be listening to her music but would add the occasional comment or remark here and there, but mainly Peter and  Ned would be fully geeking out or just casually talking.

As Peter looked up from his lunch tray he saw MJ nodding her head as earphones dangled from her ears. That's when Peter wondered what kind of music she listened to, he had never genuinely thought about it. MJ didn't seem like the type of person to follow the trends or listen to pop so what did she listen to. Well there was only one way to find out.

"Hey MJ." Peter called out to get her attention which luckily it did and also Ned's. "I was wondering what kind of music you listen to?" he asked while also throwing a couple fries in his mouth.

She looked at him confused but then unplugged her earphones and handed both of them to him. He took them and attached them to his ears waiting for the lyrics and melody to sink into his eardrums. It was different than he imagined.

Unconsciously he started to nod his head to the unusual rhythm, he saw that MJ had started to grin at him and ate a bit more of her food as he started to get more enveloped into the tunes.

"Help-me-polarize, Help-me-polarize, help me down.."

Without realising it he had started to lightly sing along to some lyrics. MJ was grinning and starting to think she could maybe get him into her kind of music, he did look like he was enjoying it.

"My friends and I we got a lot of problems..."

Ned looked at the two confused and even though he could only slightly hear the lyrics and melody blare out of the earphones he knew this wasn't  his kind of stuff. On the contrary Peter seemed to be having a blast listening to the song.

"I wanted to be a better brother better son.."

As the song finished Peter unplugged his headphones and handed them back to MJ. He was now wearing a grin that was matching hers and they both knew that he wanted to hear more.

"Who was that?" Peter asked enthusiastically, he knew he was going to be listening to them a lot. He may have only heard one song but he was hooked.

"Twenty One Pilots. While your at it listen to some My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy or Panic! At the Disco. You could throw in some Muse, AC/DC, Metallica or Nirvana while you're at it. " MJ said smiling, and she got up, swung her cross back over her shoulder at the exact time the bell rang. "Ask me if you need any more."

"Will do." Peter replied still grinning and walked to lesson, Ned getting up to catch him and to ask what just happened.
