A meeting. That's merely what it was. How come all of Ash's meeting don't end up well?

A surprise meeting is what Ash called it in the end. It was not a fortunate meeting, nor a happy meeting, but it was a meeting nonetheless. A meeting that included: fighting (with Pokemon); trying and failing to kidnap Pikachu; trying and failing to kidnap Ash; attacking Ash's friends to make him give up and blasting off again.

It was a surprise meeting. It was a meeting that surprised the three of them. Well, four, if you included Pikachu. A meeting that hadn't been planned, but had actually been a coincidence. For once.

The other three who the four had met were just as surprised as them. It was truly an accident that they met. An actual accident. Strange, accidents and coincidences hardly ever happen to one Ash Ketchum.

This is how this meeting began...

Ash, Pikachu, Misty and Brock were simply walking along the road to get to Viridian City, they were going to collect something, but got stopped in their tracks when they heard familiar bickering.

"No! It doesn't go there, James! It goes over there!" a feminine voice exclaimed loudly. The foursome glanced at one another, they recognised that voice.

"But Jessie! The manual is so confusing!" a manly voice whined at the other.

"Team Rocket," Ash whispered, a grim look on his face. Misty and Brock nodded, knowing that it was bad news if Team Rocket were near. They all snuck up to Team Rocket, so they could see what they were doing easier.

It seemed as though they were trying to fix their vehicle. Though Ash didn't really get what it was...

It could have been a truck, but it could have also been an aeroplane, or a bus, or a rocket, or a car. Or perhaps a hot air balloon, the Meowth one. Yeah, that was most likely it, though it seemed it bit - well - destroyed, right now.

Ash walked up to Team Rocket and said, as normally as he could, "What's wrong the balloon, then?"

To say that Jessie, James and Meowth were shocked would be an understatement. They were openly gaping at the four that just so happened to see them.

"What are you doing here, twerp?" Jessie asked suspiciously. Ash rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Brock, Misty and I were-" before he could finish his sentence, Pikachu purposely electrocuted him. "Oh, sorry, Pikachu. Brock, Misty, Pikachu and I were going to Viridian City to give something to someone, but heard you complaining about your - thingy. What is that?"

Jessie glared at him, "Why do you want to know?"

Ash sighed, "Answering a question with a question, wow. Guess we'll just continue on our way, bye!"

Jessie and James nodded at one another and lunged toward Pikachu, who electrocuted them. They then switched tactics and tried to jump on Ash, to stop him from moving. Luckily, Ash had anticipated this move and ran out of the way.

While that was happening, Brock and Misty somehow managed to fix the hot air balloon and were trying to get Jessie, James and Meowth so get into it so that they would 'somehow' blast off.

Jessie and James saw Brock and Misty and started running towards them, trying to get Ash to give up by attacking his friends. Brock foresaw this move, however, so he just grabbed Misty and dodged out of the way. Jessie and James took Meowth into their hot air balloon that they had fallen into, then went into the air. Pikachu used one final lightning bolt and Team Rocket 'blasted off again'.

Ash looked at Brock and Misty, with Pikachu on his shoulder and said, quite normally, "Well, let's just go to Viridian then, shall we?"

Uhh, I don't know what to say. Here you go! Weird. Yep. I'm not sure whether Viridian City is in the first season of Pokemon or not, just the first city that came into my head. Bye!
