Another prank by the infamous Pranks Devil! What will the prank be this time?...

Fred's POV:
George, Ginny, Harry and I smirked. We had created the very best prank in all of prank history! The Doorknob Trap! So, you might not get what this trap is, so I guess I have to tell you. Great, another round of explaining. It really doesn't help my mind, not at all!

The Doorknob Trap (as George so 'creatively' named it) is a prank where you rub powder onto a doorknob. Once someone tries to open the door, their hands will get powder onto themselves and something will happen to them.

For example, when Sirius tried to open the door, pink powder got onto his hands. The pink powder means that you turn into the animal you are either most likely to be, or your animagus. Sirius turned into a dog (not surprise there, seriously, you should see him at dinner) and spent the rest of that morning running about the house, causing trouble. That was probably one of my favourite things that happened that day. The pink powder only lasts for, if you take when it's morning, the entire morning, when it's afternoon, the entire afternoon, evening, the entire evening, night time, the entire night, you get it.

Remus tried to open a different door and yellow powder got onto his hands. The yellow powder makes you look how you feel, so if Remus was happy, he'd most likely turn into a gigantic costume of the sun, probably shining beams around the place. Instead, he felt humour, after all, seeing Sirius run around as a dog was probably funny, so he turned into a clown. The rest of the day, his clothes kept changing whenever his moods changed. Which was quite a lot, it was full moon a few days ago. The yellow powder lasts a full day or a full night, depends when you take it.

Moody (being extremely cautious) tried to open the front door. Yes, somehow we (Ginny, George, Harry and I, in case you forgot) managed to place a prank on the front door. We knew that Moody was going to come through that door, so we did the least effective one there. The blue powder got onto his hands and his ears started growing larger, his feet going smaller, his arms going smaller, body and head going smaller as well. His ears were round and he had a tail. You guessed what he is yet? Well, I'll tell you anyway. He turned into a mouse! The blue powder only lasts about an hour or two (lucky Moody was in the house when he started changing, the Muggles definitely would have suspected something).

Tonks opened the door to the dining room and got green powder on her hands. No, the green powder doesn't make you feel ill, that's just - plain! And way to expected. No, the green powder makes you clumsier! Bad one for Tonks to get, she was clumsy enough without having the powder that makes you even clumsier. Mum refused to let her help with dinner tonight. The green powder lasts a full twenty four hours (why did Tonks have to get that one).

It was Ginny's turn next! We couldn't get caught too early, now, could we? Ginny, reluctantly, I have to say, volunteered to open a door and get powder on her hands. We just hoped that she didn't get the gold powder. That one makes it so that you always read a book! I don't know why Harry wanted us to put that one on a doorknob leading to the girls room - maybe he was hoping that Hermione would get it? It wouldn't really make a difference anyway, she reads a book the entire time. She opened a door and got purple powder on her hands. What did that do again...? Oh yeah, it makes you feel more creative! She spent the next ten minutes painting, half an hour making clay models and twenty minutes sculpturing her food! The purple powder lasts an hour as well, so she didn't have the worst luck.

Hermione opened the door to the girls room and did, indeed, get the gold powder on her hands. She immediately went to the library (she told Harry that she had more of a craving for books than usual) and stacked up on books. She came back to the dining room and read each of the books, one by one. Once she had finished them, she went back to the library and grabbed about ten more, brought them back to her room and finished them in about an hour! Wow, that girl can read fast! The gold powder lasts three to five hours, depending on how much you like reading. Hermione managed to get the full five hours, she likes reading and studying so much!

Mum's turn. She opened an door and got brown powder on her hands. That one makes you do whatever you love to do immediately. She went to the kitchen and started cooking lunch, dinner and breakfast (the breakfast was for tomorrow). Harry smiled and offered to help her, which she politely refused, saying that she would rather do it by herself. Harry stared at me and stated that it was 'most likely his go next' and I nodded. The brown powder lasts for as long as you take to do your favourite thing. For Hermione, it would probably never end!

Harry frowned and opened a door. That one was the emerald powder. Different to the green one, as it was emerald and not green. Heh, the green was dark and emerald was lighter, so we just left it to that. The emerald powder makes you act more childish, so we had to (by that, I mean Sirius, Remus and Mum had to) look after Harry for awhile. He actually acted rather cute, wanting teddies and hugs, never staying too far away from Sirius. It seems that Sirius was his 'safe place'. The emerald powder lasts for a week, so we had a busy six and a half days left!

Dad opened a door next. He got bronze powder on his hands. Of course, the colours that him and Mum got had to be similar! That's actually rather strange... Oh well. The bronze powder makes you act extra helpful to anyone who passes your way. He helped Sirius with Harry, helped Hermione take some books from the library to her room, helped Remus help Sirius with Harry, help Moody by taking him to the kitchen to get some food. He did a lot of helping that day. The bronze powder lasts for either forty-eight hours or twenty-four hours, depending how nice a person you were. I'm guessing Dad will get the full forty-eight hours, he's too nice for his own good!

My turn! I took a deep breath and grasped the door handle at the same moment as George did. Seems like even when facing pranks, we can't do it apart. It was the black powder. It made you swap personalities with whoever holds the doorknob as well. It was rather nice, actually, holding the door with George, because our personalities are practically the same, so we weren't too different. The black powder lasts for eight hours, no idea why it's that specific number.

Next it was Charlie's turn. He held the handle that had the white powder on. That is made you act like the animal that you loved the most. How does Charlie keep getting ones he's okay with? He has extremely good luck, either that or he can see into the future and knows when he can be a dragon. The white powder lasts a day at most, so Charlie'll have another full day to see what it's like to be a dragon. Or at least act like one, the powder doesn't turn you into a dragon, it just makes you act like one.

Now it was Ron's turn. He held the doorknob that had the red powder on. That one was made out of a truth potion, it made you blurt out your deepest, darkest secrets, whether you wanted to or not (not that anyone would want to). He said that he stole my pranking supplies a month ago! Finally, I found the culprit! You, Ron, have been caught red-handed! See what I did there? Erm, perhaps no more puns? Okay.

Now it was Bill's turn. He opened the door that had the navy powder on it. That made you act like a dead person, I think. By that, he looked up and said, "I am now - a dead person! I will finally know what it will be like to be a mummy in the tombs!" or some crazy, random nonsense like that. The navy powder lasts about an hour, so he'll have plenty of time to experience what it'll be like to be 'a mummy in the tombs'.

Okay, time to plan our next prank! See you again when the prank commences...

Okay, a bit of a weird ending, but how was that? IT'S SOO LOOONGGGG!!!! It's rather hard trying to remember loads of colours and THEN describing the thing they did! I usually do most of these stories at night as well. I HATE insomnia... Annnyyyywayyyy..
