Alex Rider : The New Student
When a new classmate called Julius appears in Alex's class, he can't help but be suspicious. Who wouldn't be when the boy looks exactly like him?
(A/N: I know that I've been doing a lot of Alex Rider one shots, please tell me if you don't like them)
"Hello, class, today we have a new student. Please say hello to - Julius Grief," Mr. Donovan announced. Alex's eyes narrowed. He couldn't help it, it seemed the surname Grief set him off. His last mission had been Ark Angel, but he still couldn't help the cautiousness when he heard the name. And when the boy came in, people immediately started chatting about 'how much he looks like druggie' and (the girls and a few boys) 'how cute he looks'.
Alex turned to Tom and whispered urgently, "Tom, I've got to quickly do something. I won't kill anyone, alright? I've just got to - chat, to our new classmate."
Tom nodded and Alex held up his hand. "Sir? Could I please talk to Julius outside, please. I know him and I'd like to tell him what the rules are and such," he lied flawlessly. Mr. Donovan nodded and Alex left the room, Julius following him.
As soon as the door shut, Alex turned to the replica of himself. "So, Julius, how are things? How's your 'father'?" Alex asked harshly, knowing that the man Julius considered as his father was dead.
"Better, now he's about to be avenged!" Julius cried and launched himself onto Alex. Alex dodged out of the way and banged him onto the lockers.
"Tell me," he breathed out. "Why you're here," he demanded. Julius shook his head and Alex banged him against the lockers again, harsher than the last time. Julius flinched, but showed no other signs.
"Tell me," Alex grounded out.
"No. And I don't really think that you want to -" Julius interrupted himself, by opening the door an inch, so that the students inside would be able to hear. He wanted this new bit of information to wander around the school like flies. Alex didn't notice, too busy with trying to work out why Julius was here, at his school. "Blow up the school building, now, do you?" Julius continued where he left off. He shut the door with a bang and Alex realised what had been revealed.
"You're going to pay for that," Alex whispered in his ear and pushed him against the wall. Julius kicked him and Alex fell back, his clone falling onto him. Alex flipped them both around so he was on top of Julius and said, "You going to leave?"
Julius shook his head. "Not until I do what I have to do."
Alex punched him, Julius dodged, Julius snuck in a hit and Alex recoiled.
"You little-" Alex began, but decided not to curse in case there was somebody listening.
"So, you gonna admit the truth?" Julius hissed, having snuck up behind Alex and slam him into the lockers, holding him there. And he was much stronger than the other boy.
"What truth? The one that isn't a truth at all? Or are you just saying that to make yourself seem cooler," Alex snarled, trying his best to struggle out of his grip. "Man, they made you too strong."
"Actually, they didn't make me nearly as strong as they were meaning to," Julius remarked.
"Well, that must be a disappointment," Alex said sarcastically. "Can we finish this and carry on with our day? I have a sandwich for lunch and I'd rather not miss it.
"Besides, reinforcements are going to be here in three, two, one..."
True to his weird, MI6 burst into the corridor and Alex said, "Grief. The sixteenth. You know what to do." With that, he turned around and walked back into his classroom, ready for the onslaught of questions that could only come from a group of teenagers.
That took forever. Hope you enjoyed. Peace out!
