Lucas sighed as he leaned back in the rocking chair. The barn was warm due to the fire they had lit. It was probably dangerous but he didn't care. It provided warmth as the winter season approaches. Was is difficult to keep warm and share the limited food with his roommates? Yes. Was it worth it? Maybe.

Lucas sighed as he looked at the ceiling, they probably need to find a new base soon. The ceiling looked at if it'd fall soon, paint chipped, wood old and seems to be cracking. They need to leave real soon if they want a full roof. The creaking and click of the barn door made Lucas look to his right. Leo and David are home.

"How was hunting?" David sighed as he walked over, his footsteps being the only noise aside from the fire and the creaking of Lucas's rocking chair.

"Terrible. The food resources are running terribly low. The only animal out we could even catch was a rabbit or two. The crops aren't doing s thing, they're dead."

Yeah, they definitely need to find a new base.

Lucas doesn't know how he ended up here but he did. They were all cuddling by the fire as Leo hummed a song. He's going to miss them.
