(In this AU Hiroshi isn't part of the Equalist, Also Korra can control the Elements, she is connected to magic, she can control things, such as weapons, she can basically control anything, Also the Avatar is a demon but if it's host dies, it dies as well, it takes over when bad stuff happens)

Korra POV

The knight looked at herself in the mirror, she could see the tears threatening to spill

"No emotions" I tell myself over and over again

My hand gently traces over my scar

The memories that I tried to hide away

"Korra come here" my father yells and I continue to play with the water

"What's wrong papa" my nine year self says

"We need to go it isn't safe for you anymore"

A confused look goes into my innocent face

I follow my father to our home 

My mother puts a blindfold over my eyes

"Please understand sweetie" I hear my mothers voice say

"Korra, you are no longer a girl you are a boy, you won't tell anyone your first name, only be known by Avatar" I hear my dads voice say

"You are more powerful then you think, but for you own safety we are sending you away to become a knight, please never forget us" my mother says

I feel a sharp pain down my cheek onto my neck

I let out a scream of pain

I shake the memory away

I hear gentle footsteps pass my room and a knock

"Please Avatar I must speak with you"  I hear my princess's voice say through the door

I open the door obeying to her command

She rushes in and slams the door behind her

"I'm sorry for kissing you I couldn't help it" She says

Memories from earlier come back

"Sir.Avatar may I have this dance" The princess says standing up from the dinning  table

I simply bow in return and we began to move to the beat

"You dance well for a man" Asami says as our bodies grow closer

"I have my ways" I mumble with a slight smirk

"Come on let's get out of here" Asami says pulling me out into the vast hallways of the castle

"What are you doing princess" I say as my curiosity reaches my peak 

We stop to take a breath 

"You never show emotion why is that" Asami asks, I flinched slightly at the question, I never ever opened to anyone about my emotions, not even my squire 

"Well your one to talk princess, that cold glare of yours is scary" I tell her letting a ghost of a smirk form on my lips 

She pushes my shoulder in attempt to push me back but I don't move 

"Wow your strong" Asami mutters barely audible 

Asami moves closer to me, I could feel my cheeks getting warmer

Her lips soon meet mine, initially I kiss back the woman I love, but I pull away 

"I'm sorry, it's just, you don't know me, and it isn't right, I'm sorry" I tell her walking away to my quarters

(End of flashback) 

"Princess it wasn't your fault, I was the one who caused it to happen, I don't deserve to be your knight, I simply ask for your forgiveness" I tell her, I kneel down and bow my head to the heir the throne

"Rise sir Avatar, and tell me who you are truly and I won't tell anyone" Asami kneels down and lifts my chin "I promise" 

We both stand up and sit on the bed 

"Start from the beginning" Asami says as she stick her hand in my short hair 

I let out a light chuckle in response 

"Well, my name is Korra, I don't know my actual last name, and I'm a girl"

I get ready for the worst but instead My lady embraces me in hug 

She whispers into my ear "Thank you for telling who you are" 

We pull away, I take a deep breath to continue my story 

"At the age of nine, I was shipped away to become a knight, but before I was I got this nasty scar" 

Asami gently rubs her hand on my mark 

"How did my mighty knight earn this scar" 

"My parents" I say grimly 

"Why would they do that" 

"I know now, I'm more powerful than most people, It's a long story, hundreds of year ago there was a story about someone who could not be hurt, no wound could marr her, I have the same abilities as her, so I cannot be harmed, this scar was a way to protect me, Asami I love you but I cannot be with you for this reason, I would only be putting you in danger" I tell her 

But instead of talking her red lips meet mine

Before I knew it we were taking each other clothes off and lying in my bed and yeahhhhhh

"Wow" Is the only thing I can say 

I turn over revealing my back 

"Oh my goodness Korra what is on your back" Asami says 

"Oh that's the mark of the Avatar, it doesn't do anything" I explain to her

I let out a sigh

"What is it" Asami asks me with a confused look 

"Why did you fall for me" 

"Korra why would ask that" 

"Well first I'm a girl, and people don't like same sex relationships, second there are much better Princes and princesses for you My lady" 

She gives me a look, it was scary

"What, I'm not exactly romantic, come on let's get dressed" I tell her

We both get changed and tidied up 

We kiss one more time

"Take me to breakfast" Asami asks 

Once again I offer a simple nod 

We walk into the court and Asami sits with her ladies and I with the other men 

I tried hard to mask my smile, Asami is Amazing 

"Sir. Avatar, what makes you worthy to serve the crown" I hear a man near me say

"I heard he saved the kings life" Another says 

"Yeah and he emerged without a scratch" Another one says, he sounds drunk, but I assume it's to early to be drunk 

They all slide up and sit next to me

"So is it true did you save the king" they ask me 

I nod 

"Well, how did you do it" Another asks

"That is for the king to share, not me" I say dismissing them and taking a gulp of beer 

"Come on" A young one asks 

"I'm not going to disobey the king" 

I smile to myself, I wonder how long until the crown finds out about My princess dating her knight, who is also a girl 

I hear a crash and my eyes immediately look at Asami 

"Protect the crown" I hear a guard say 

I spring up from my chair and pull out my sword and put Asami behind me 

I see some equalist charging at us

I fight them off, the bodies fall to te ground 

I check Asami, I see a panicked look in her eyes 

I hug her to calm her down 

I look around, some more men were fighting

More bodies lying on the ground 

I saw mako finishing off another Equalist 

He looks at me, I nod, I had the princess 

"King Sato and Princess Sato please follow me" I Say to the monarch 

We run out and then into Asami chambers 

I lock the door and close the window 

"You will be safe until the crisis is over" I tell them I slip out the door closing it behind me 

I see more equalist charge, I bring my blade through one of there sides 

Pull it out and then knocking another to the ground 

"Get the knight first and then deal with the crown" One of the men says 

My mind starts to race, it was me against ten Equalist 

They all charge at me

I block most of the attacks 

But one got me in the side and somehow sent electricity up my body 

I let out a grunt in pain, my body falls to the ground 

"Well done" one says 

No ones pov 

The knight slowly rose up, her sword was out of reach so she stood up and got ready for a fight 

Her fist were infront of her face 

An Equalist shot some electricity at her, knocking her down again 

A sudden gust of wind pushed all the Equalist a few feet back 

Korra stood up, her eyes were glowing, her hand stuck out and her blade returned to her hand 

Quickly she made her way through each man, until each body was lying on the ground dead

Her eyes to there normal blue

She let out a gasp and sat down, trying to catch up on her breath 

She didn't even realise the blood she was losing 

She slowly stood back up and opened the door 

Her eyes scanned the room and she saw the king hugging his daughter 

Korra POV 

"It's safe your majesty I have eliminated the threat" I tell them king, doing my best to not sound like I'm dying 

"Well done sir. Avatar, go get healed we can continue later" the kings says 

He leaves his daughter and makes his way through the dead bodies

I walk to Asami and lock the door behind me 

She hugs me immediately 

Some of my blood stains her dress 

"Oh goodness I'm so sorry" I tell her pulling away 

My head starts to feel light 

"Korra, you need to go get healed" 

"Can you do it, oh wow things are blurry" I tell collapsing on her bed 

Before I knew it I blacked out

My eyes slowly fuller open, I shoot up, causing an aching pain to go up my side 

"Woo, slow down" I hear a beautiful voice say

My vision clears up and I see Asami beautiful green eyes 

"Your safe, but you have a lot of explaining to do" Asami says looking at me 

I offer a confused look 

"Oh you really don't know" Asami says 

"Um, i remember defeat all the men and then I came in and passing out" 

My lady lets  out a sigh 

"You talked when you passed out" 

"What, what did I say" 

"Patience, your tattoo also glowed, and your eyes as well" 

Memories flood back to my mind

I let a grunt, I'm so stupid, the Avatar took control, I vowed never let that again 

"Please don't tell anyone, the Avatar took over my body, it's a demon, I must have healed myself" 

"Yeah you did, but you said some sort of spell, and you said it was weak to love someone" Asami says I could see the tears in her eyes 

"Oh no Asami that wasn't me, that was the Avatar, ignore her, this is the real me, I promise" I say hugging her 

I cup her face and kiss her 

"Let's go fix this mess" I tell her, I pull on my armour and she puts on a new dress

I bite my lip as I watch her perfect body 

"Pervert" Asami says smiling 

"Hey your mine, wait, will you be my girlfriend" I ask her 

"Of course stupid" 

We walk into the court, I place my hand on my blade handle 

"Ah sir. Avatar, glad to see your ok, thank you for saving us" 

Asami sits beside her father 

I kneel down before him 

"We need to thank you once again, so as your price, I give you Permission to court my daughter" He finishes

People let out gasp, my face was covered in shock and then into a smile 

"Of course if my daughter agrees" He says 

I stand up but get immediately pushed back, Asami lips on mine

"I'll take that as a yes" I hear the king say 

I didn't care anymore, Asami was mine
