Saiko's POV:

Ugh.
Another stupid day in this stupid school.
Why do I even go there.
Right.........cause if him.
That stupid pink haired boy, stupid Saiki.
Well he isn't stupid he is average just....ugh.
I told my parents I wanted to go there for that girl Teruhashi, but that was totally fake.
Sure she is pretty and stuff, but I don't like her personality.

I had entered the class, Kuboyasu looked at me with dagger eyes.
Nendo and Kaido were fighting like little 3 year olds.
Teruhashi, the boys crowded over Teruhashi.
And then we had Saiki.
He was just sitting at his desk peacefully, reading a book.
Ah.
He is so cute.
His pink hair, his green glasses, his weird antennas, everything a bout him was adorable.

Saiki's POV:

Are you done thinking about me.
Why do you always think I am cute.
I got it, you have a crush on me.
NOW STOP STARING AT ME.
SERIOUSLY YOU REMIND ME OF MY BROTHER SO BADLY.
THIS IS GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATING.
I mean, I know Saiko has a crush on me.
1. I can hear his thoughts.
2. He makes it totally obvious.
At least for me. Cause the other kids haven't noticed yet.

I see him walking towards me 'I'm going to say hi to him. If I act well maybe he will fall in love with me' He thinks.
"Hi Saiki!" He tells me 'now fall for me' He thinks.
Did anyone tell him that love just doesn't work like that.
Thankfully Kuboyasu spots him talking to me and says "HEY! LEAVE SAIKI ALONE!" As he rushes over to us.
Saiko who doens't want to go home bruised calmly walks away.
"That jerk. He didn't tell you anything bad did he?!" Kuboyasu asks me worried. I shake my head 'no' as a response. 
"Good. If not I will break his skull." He says as he walks away.
I mean I wouldn't mind falling in love with Saiko. He is nice when he wants to, he seems pretty loyal, and he likes coffee jelly.

I continue reading quietly, but that quiet had to be ruined by Nendo.
He came over, no, he came STOMPING over. Took a chair and sat in front of me.
"BUDDY! Wanna go eat ramen with Kaido and me after school! We got nothing to do!" He yells at me, not in a mean way though. As much as Nendo is an idiot, he isn't mean. I nod 'yes' I mean why not, I could spend time with them.

Saiko's POV:

Ugh. Why does Saiki have to spend time with them.
Why not me?!
You know what. Who cares if Nendo already invited him. I'll go invite him and he won't be able to say no.

I walk up to them in a hurry and tell Saiki "Hey! Saiki! Wanna go to a cafe after school with me."
He points to Nendo saying that he is already going with him.
But I know his weak spot.
"They have delicious coffee jelly over there." I tell him with a smirk.
Saiki was about to accept my offer yet Nendo had to but in and say. "Sure! We will come with you."
Wait what?
I didn't ask them to come with me. I only asked Saiki.
Yet if I say that then my crush will be totally obvious.
"Wait. I am not going." Kaido tells us
"Oh! Why not?" Nendo replies
"Cause, I have to......um.......I HAVE TO STOP BLACK REUNION!" He tells us and scurries away.
Except that Nendo holds him back.
"Then I will come with you cause you might die." He tells him neutraly. The heck are they talking about anyway?
"Why would I die." The blue haired boy says as he tries to run away
"Cause you are weak." Nendo says and just tightens his grip on the little boy.
Guess Saiki will come with me alone then.
"Saiki. Meet me outside of school after class. Don't be late!?" I tell him. He just nods. Why does he only nod? Can't he be more expressive?

Later after class

Saiki should be here any minute now. Why won't he hurry up?
I am starting to worry. He is 10 minutes late!
I mean come on!
He should have been here earlier.
He gets to go somewhere with me.
Isn't that something anyone would dream of?!

Saiki's POV:

Yare yare. Impatient huh? If you are too impatient than this won't work out between us.
I walk up to him, and he starts asking me a thousand time "Why were you late?"
He wants me to answer. Ok. I will tell him. I will tell him the truth.
"Kuboyasu lectured me on why I shouldn't hang out with you." I tell him neutrally.
'Oh that b******! Why would he do that?!' Saiko thinks.
I ma going to put my germanium ring on, do 't wanna hear his thoughts thank you.
"Well anyways now that you are here let's go!" He tells me and gestures to follow him.

We walk for about 5 minutes, chatting and stuff. Till we arrive to a cafe. A small and basic one actually.
Weird?
First Saiko walked here and didn't ask his driver to drive us here.
Second Saiko chose a small cafe and not a huge grande cafe.
Not that I am complaining.
Once we enter I notice that we are the only ones here.
Weird? Saiko told me that this place was very popular and that everyone loves the coffee jelly here.
He noticed I was questioned and told me "I rented the cafe for only the two of us. I know you like small things so I didn't reserved a grande cafe, yet I like privacy so I reserved for on,y the two of us."
Oh now I get it.
Yeah that resembles Saiko a lot.

A waiter gestures towards a table near the back and Saiko and me head over there.
We sit down and Oder what we want.
Saiko asks for a cheese cake and I ask for some coffee jelly.
What were you guys expecting?
While we wait for the order I notice that Saiko seems nervous.
I was wearing my germanium ring so I couldn't hear his thought.
Which I must say was pretty frustrating.
So to break the ice I ask him "Whats wrong?"
He didn't seem to be thinking that I would have asked that question and just says "Nothing...absolutely nothing."
Suspicious.
"Well actually there is something." He admits.
Ah finally.
"Why do you hang out so much with Nendo!? Why not me?" He says slightly frustrated.
Oh. That was what was annoying him so much.
I reply him that "it's because he is my friend."
I mean at first I was kinda forced but then I got used to Nendo and he became my friend.
"Why?" I ask him
"Well, I was wondering. Well. Do you wanna go out with me!" He desperately says
That escalated quickly
"Well let's think. You can be nice when you want to, you seem not like the type that would cheat, you are pretty cool. I guess I could give it a try." I tell him as an answer
"So it's yes?" He asks
"Ok." I tell him.
He has a smile of victory on his face.
"Just try not to get too jealous okay?" I ask him, kinda warn him
He smiles even more and says "ok."
