PART 4

The bell rung, and it's club time once more. I felt excited as ever, knowing that what I'll be presenting will be a total surprise for Nathaniel, and possibly for everyone as well. I also felt a little nervous and regretful. What if I'll make a total fool out of myself?

"So, ready for the club presentation?", A familiar voice popped up from behind me. I carried my backpack on my back and looked back to see my redheaded friend standing close to me.

I thought for a while before replying, "You know what? Yes. Yes I am ready. And I hope you are too", I gave him a smile.

He chuckled at my confidence, "Well in fact, I am ready. You won't believe what I drew"

"You won't believe what I drew as well", I replied, and with that, we both started walking towards the art room.

'I hope this works', I thought to myself, the feeling of regret starting to sink in, but it's not like I could change my drawing now. I had no choice but just trust myself in this.

We silently walked towards our destination. Meanwhile, I was thinking to myself what would happen, and wondering what my partner drew.

The groups before us started presenting their works, and I tried to pay attention. Throughout those minutes, I just sat there, wondering on what Nathaniel drew.

'Maybe he figured out what my favorite animal is? Or maybe he drew my friends. My family? Or maybe the school? Since it means something to me regardless of what I think about it.'

Then, it was their turn to present their work. Nathaniel decided to go first, and happily went through with his work. The crowd was astonished to his artistic skills and creativity, and so was Alix.

"And for my last day, I drew Alix doing some street art. On our first day of meeting each other, I remember her saying something about having passion for street art. Little did she know that I kept it in mind up until now", Nathaniel said to the audience, and turned to the pinkette, who was surprised to see his work.

"Wow... You remembered", is all what Alix could say, speechless at what her partner did.

"And what about you, Alix? What did you draw?", the instructor asked, signaling that it's time for her to present her works.

Alix nervously opened her sketchpad and slowly showed her works, now realizing that what she drew for the last day is totally embarrassing and would make her a laughing stock. But it's not like she could change it right there.

"And for my last day I-", she hesitated to flip the page, but she knew that she has to do so eventually, and so she did.

The crowd was surprised to see her work, and honestly so was Nathaniel. Alix's cheeks is glowing red in embarrassment. "I-I drew myself", she finally let out. "You see, when we first had a conversation, it didn't exactly end on a good end. We grew disgusted of each other. But because of this activity, we learned more about each other, and managed to accept each other. I wanted to surprise him for the last day, but couldn't think of anything. So I drew myself, regardless of what my partner thinks of me, but I am now in a part in his life".

BONUS

"So, you drew yourself, huh?", Nathaniel snickered, breaking the silence that has been roaming between the two. His words made Alix blush in embarrassment and turn away.

Alix bit her lips and scoffed. She crossed her arms, and looked down at the other side. "Shut up", she softly replied.
