Kiss Me
[ the tweet above gave me inspiration to write this one shot. :)) ]
Truth be told, both of the boys were in pain. They absolutely hated not being able to hold one another's hand and express their love in the public eye all because their 'bosses' said so. Management said that two gay guys in a world famous boyband would kill their reputation, especially if the two guys are together.
In all honestly, everyone knew that their reputation wouldn't be killed, especially due to the amount of supporters Louis and Harry had. Sometimes, when they were alone, they would lay back on the bed of the band's tour bus, cuddled up on one of the bunks and scrolling through Twitter, reading and looking at different tweets and edits.
But as soon as their tour manager would enter the room, the two would be split up.
They couldn't simply sit next to each other, or have a casual conversation like they used to. Modest had claimed that during the first few years of their career, Louis and Harry were very.. out, with their feelings for each other. Once all of the 'Larry' posts were made and assumptions were given, Modest wanted to put a stop to it all.
So that's what they did.
The four boys were currently getting ready, Louis fumbling with the tie of his tux and grumbling under his breath. He hated ties.
Harry, standing in front of the mirror on the opposite wall of the mirror Louis was looking in, smiled gently to himself as he watched the love of his life struggling. He finished off his own tie, walking over to Louis and up behind him.
Louis looked up through the mirror at Harry when feeling his presence, giving him a shy smile. "Help, please." He spoke.
Harry turned the older around, shaking his head in amusement and undoing what Louis had attempted to succeed with the tie. He started over, letting the tie hug loosely around Louis' neck so he wouldn't choke, smoothing it down with the palms of his hands. "Should really learn how to fix a tie, love."
Louis huffed. "Haz, you know that I utterly hate wearing ties. The only reason I am right now is because Lou told us we all needed to wear them to the movie premiere tonight. Make us boys look more formal."
The shorter had a little pout formed on his lips, Harry leaning down to kiss it away. His plan worked, a small smile replacing the pout while the two's lips moved against one another's perfectly. Just like they always had.
Harry sighed when pulling away, keeping his eyes shut and his face just several inches away from his boyfriend's. His eyes opened, seeing Louis' still shut whilst Harry lifted his hand up and let his thumb graze over his cheek gently, the pad of his finger feeling the scruff that was beginning to form.
"So beautiful." Harry whispered, and smiled and dimply grin when Louis' cheeks darkened.
"I love you, dork."
"And I love you, LouBear."
Louis groaned, pulling away reluctantly from Harry's gentle touch. "My mum always used to call me that years ago. Emphasis on the words; years ago."
"It's cute." Harry laughed, looking over and seeing Lou enter the room. She smiled at the sight of both of the boys. "You boys look great! Liam and Niall are all ready. Liam and Louis, you two will be going in a separate car and Niall and Harry will go in another."
She gave them a sympathetic look, but knew it was a part of her job or else she'd get fired if not following orders the way they were assigned. Harry sighed, glancing over at Louis before back at Lou. "Are we not allowed to sit next to each other in the theater, as well?"
Lou frowned and nodded. "Modest's orders, not mine."
"Got it." Harry muttered, shrugging on the suit jacket he had to wear. Next was the sleek black boots, pushing his heel into them.
The three walked out of the dressing room together, out to the front of the building where their car was waiting. Screams of teenage girls, and maybe some even boys, were heard vividly, their bodyguards waiting just at the entrance. Liam and Niall were waiting towards the front as well, pairing up with their friend that'd be taking the same car as them.
Liam and Louis headed out first, Louis shading his eyes with his sunglasses while there was a path made, fans surrounding the area. Bodyguards held back a few of the girls while Liam and Louis signed a few autographs and took a few pictures before hopping into the car. Behind that car, was another waiting for Niall and Harry.
Once the first black car pulled off, the second one took it's place. Niall and Harry headed out, repeating the same process as the other two had just done. Harry took a few extra pictures with more fans, one of his bodyguards having to tell him they needed to leave or they'd be late.
Harry gave a final wave to the fans before heading into the car, leaning back in his seat while the car finally pulled off and headed towards the theater.
"How are you feeling?" Niall asked, having a small frown etched on his face. He knew Harry hated the fact that Modest closeted him and Louis, but there wasn't much of a choice.
"I'm alright. I guess I should be used to it by now." Harry murmured, his hands folded in his lap as he looked down at them. Harry knew for a fact that Niall was one of their biggest supporters.
The two cars soon pulled up to the fancy movie theater, where a ton of other celebrities came to watch the premiere of The Hungers Games, Mockingjay. Even the cast themselves were here.
The four boys headed down the red carpet, once again more fans crowded around, but a velvet rope was stopping them from further entry. More autographs were signed and pictures were taken, the boyband heading inside of the building and away from the screams.
"So hectic." Liam laughed, but he still loved it nonetheless.
The theater room was slightly crowded, other celebrities and cast members of the movie finding their seats. The cast was all sat together towards the front, talking about the new film they worked so hard on.
Harry was walking while searching for a seat where the four would sit, bumping directly into someone. He turned his head, letting out a quick, "I'm so sorry!"
Taylor Lautner looked up from his phone, letting out an apology at the same time Harry had.
The two smiled sheepishly, letting out a laugh. "Holy shit- One Direction in the flesh. This is definitely a milestone in my life." Taylor laughed, looking over at each of the boys who offered him a smile. "I didn't expect you guys to be here."
"Yeah, the cast directors of the movie invited us," Harry informed with a smile, seeing a few commercials run through on the big screen. "What about you? I thought another Twilight movie was in the process of being made?"
Taylor shook his head, letting out a chuckle. "No, the last movie came out last November. I'm good friends with Jennifer."
"Oh," Harry blushed. It wasn't like he was a 'twihard' or whatever. "Oops."
"Yeah." He smiled, before seeing the opening credits of the movie start flashing on the screen. "Might wanna go find my seat then."
The two exchanged their goodbyes, before heading up the aisle where their seats were located. In front of one of the aisles, was a small velvet rope, and a sign hanging on it reading, "One Direction".
Liam unclipped the rope, stepping down the lane and taking a seat in the fifth one over. The others went in single file, their manager behind them making sure to remind the boys, specifically Louis and Harry, "You can't sit together."
Harry wanted to give a snappy remark, but stayed silent as he sat between Niall and Liam, Louis sitting on Liam's other side.
Then the movie began, and Harry just wished he could be holding Louis' hand while sharing a bucket of popcorn and soda that their manager brought to each of them.
Well over two hours was too long for Harry to go without any contact from Louis. And while everyone was filing out of the theater, tossing their empty bags of popcorn into the trash, Harry pulled Louis to the side. Paparazzi were well in camera view, waiting for each of the celebrities to come out of the theater, but Harry hadn't thought much of it.
"Kiss me," He blurted out, his hands placed on Louis' waist as he held his boyfriend close.
Louis looked shocked, looking up at Harry with wide eyes. "We're in public.. and people are-"
"I-I don't care.. just please. Kiss me." No matter how hard he tried, Louis couldn't resist the pleading look. He bite his lip, before releasing it and lifting his hands up to cup Harry's face, standing up on his toes and pressing his lips to the other's.
It was a picture perfect moment; literally. Paparazzi were stunned for a moment, and even people surrounding them, but as soon as the guys with big cameras snapped out of the state of shock, tons of pictures were taken.
The flashes made the boys break apart, Louis glancing around and turning back to Harry. "We're in so much trouble," He smiled sheepishly, though he was quite frightened with what was to come once these photos were released in millions of articles and all over Twitter.
"So worth it." Harry breathed, before surging forward and pressing his lips against Louis' again.
They've got nothing to lose now.
