Enemies to lovers/ ''What ther people say" BY DEMI LOVATO AND SAM FISCHER.
The first story in the series - is inspired by the song "WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY" BY DEMI LOVATO AND SAM FISCHER.
"You used to be the most selfish and self-esteem person I ever knew. What happened to my friend" the boy she wanted to see the least looked at her with his emerald green.
"Yeah that's true I USED TO, dear...FRIEND!" how dare he call her that after all he did, after the hell he made her go through. They have never been friends, neither have had a normal conversation ever.
"Now I can't recognize you anymore! Why did you stop believing in yourself?'' he got closer to Blade and tried to lift her shaky hand, but instead, she push him away.
"Because now I care more about what other people say" she sighed, biting her lower lip in an attempt to not think about the tears willing to roll off her tanned face.
Everyone was considering her of being the most stonehearted person, while in reality, she was the most breakable one. She had never let someone see how vulnerable she was, and would never do especially not in a situation like this. Not in front of someone like Ian Fox.
"But this isn't you, the person who I knew. Who you were, would never say that they didn't deserve something " he clasped the girl's shoulder.
''Maybe now I don't deserve the life I have, not even more.'' Blade let her head touch the stone wall behind her. The cold wind was touching her hot, now blushed face and almost red from holding the tears eyes.
"Everyone was telling me that my only trade was to be egocentric, especially you. You were constantly telling me to change myself. For what... only to start hearing that I changed myself too much..." the only thing stopping her from bursting into crying right now was the rage building inside her.
"You used to laugh at the others changing themselves in something they aren't only because of what others were thinking about them. You said that you would never become like them for absolutely nothing. " Ian tried to reassure the girl, brushing with one hand his curly hair out of his face. He had run after Blade the second, he saw her reaction.
"Then that's the biggest lie I have ever said'' Blade said with a now shaky voice, the tears were going to start sprinkling off her eyes in a moment.
''But the worst is that I believed you, and I would never be able to forgive you ''She tried to collect herself one more time, but this time unsuccessfully when she started sobbing. Though it was almost unhearable, this was the first time she had let herself cry in the last, maybe, 12 years.
''It wasn't that important Blade, you are just being angry at me and overreacting because...'' he made a little pause thinking. '' Actually, I don't even understand why. I just posted a tik tok with you''
''Just a video!?!'' Her eyes and mouth opened wide in shock at the heard ''Do you even hear what you are saying?'' She hide her face with her hands, causing her voice to become a little muffled. ''You filmed me without my consent, but what is more important is that-'' She started, but Ian interrupted her with a louder and more defensive voice.
''What?'' He straightened his back and tilted his neck a little to the left ''That there you are show emotions, that you are not a fucking machine?'' his voice was starting to be harsher so he paused in an attempt to calm himself and then continued ''Blade you are a human and every human has feelings! Why are you so ashamed of yours ?''
"Are you stupid of course I'm not... but..." Blade was making pauses not because she was thinking, she just didn't want to say anything.
"But you are afraid that once others find out how easy it is to break you down, they would use it against you." Ian saw that she was struggling and used the chance "Stop being scared of your feelings, admit it once and forever"
''Okay,...'' Blade breathed a heavy breath looking at the platform black boots with chains. ''I-I'm scared.. what other people say and especially... what they think about me." this wasn't easy for her to admit, the biggest and probably the only fear that she had and wanted no one to ever find out, but what she just did? She told her biggest secret not to someone, but to Ian Fox... her biggest ENEMY.
"You don't need to, do you know why?" He asked her, lightly touching her forearm with his left hand.
''No," she looked at him through her thick, wet lashes. "Why?" she asked.
"Because now I'm here and will always be to protect what's mine!'' He put his hand under her chin, looking straight into her eyes. ''to protect ...you."
"Get out of me, I'm not yours and will never be" She yelled, bringing her hands to his chest and pushing him with all her strength. He just laughed.
"Oh baby,'' He mocked her, but in a friendly way, because of how shaken she had been for the last 45 minutes, he didn't want to make her even sadder ''and again you are scared of your feelings. You don't need to be terrified to confess that you actually, love me... a lot!" he told her with a boyish smirk.
"Me and you?" she started laughing, to hide what she really felt. "Thank you for making me laugh. Now I will appreciate some time with myself, so please leave me alone."
"I won't until you admit it," Ian said confidently, he knew that she has feelings for him, he had them too. Everyone was able to see the sparks between them, still, Blade, wasn't that confident that he had other feelings for her, besides hate.
"Are you high or on something? Blade asked him in an attempt to confuse him, so she could have left.
"I'm taught not to lie to pretty guys " the words had slipped out her mouth without her even realizing until she saw him looking at her with an open mouth "Shit'' she murmured.
"Oh, thank you, now you see -" Ian has been getting closer to Blake again.
"No Ian! I don't love you, I hate you. I hate you from the deepn-"
He smacked his lips on hers. Blade being hesitated for a moment, but then relaxed at his lips. His soft, thick, and slightly plumb lips felt so good and made her almost puddle at his hands now wrapped around her waist moving one hand on her lower back.
Ian slightly pulled away, just to look at her eyes and say "What were you saying...oh, yeah are you sure you didn't mean... 'love you from the deepness of my heart''', then getting back to their sweet moment.
