I'm Not Leaving You(Rola/Doctor Who)
This is dedicated to my friend, TARDIS(don't ask) and I'm going to call her Lola for this.
And for y'all Rory and Amy shippers, just pretend Amy doesn't exist for this one, okay?
-
Lola ran faster her lungs burning for air. She whipped around the corner, her braid hitting the building. She saw the TARDIS. She was safe.
Until someone grabbed her ankle. Lola's head slammed against the ground, and the world spiraled away.
-Time Skip-
Lola groaned and woke up. Her head hurt and the room was spinning. She felt her forehead gingerly and touched a bandage. Whoever captured her wanted her alive.
Lola blinked and the room came into focus.
She was in a prison cell.
Then the door's lock clicked. Lola searched for a weapon and grabbed a small metal pipe.
Big enough to maybe hurt a little.
The door opened and Lola threw the pipe.
"Ow!" The intruder hissed. "Lola! It's Rory!"
"Rory?" Lola muttered. Rory ran to her and squeezed her in a tight hug.
"I thought I lost you..." he breathed. Lola hugged him back.
"Rory, it's okay. I'm okay," she whispered.
Rory helped her up.
"Let's go," he said quietly.
Lola let Rory lead her through halls and doorways, until she saw a door begin to close on it's own.
"Rory...I'm sorry," Lola whispered. She pushed him through the door as the lock clicked shut.
A small window, like a porthole was the only way to see through the metal. Rory placed his hands on either side of this opening and stared through.
"No! Lola!" He shouted.
"I'm sorry," Lola repeated. "Just go, Rory." Tears began to slip down her cheeks.
"No," Rory said, his voice breaking. "I'm not leaving you."
"You have to!" Lola said fiercely.
"I can't!" Rory shouted, his voice becoming desperate.
"Why not?" Lola snapped.
"Because I love you, Lola Pond!"
Lola stepped back.
"Rory?"
"Yes?"
"If this glass wasn't here I would kiss you."
Lola placed a hand on the glass.
"I will find you," she promised, before running away from the door.
Rory pounded on the metal.
"Lola!"
-2 Days Later-
Rory held the picture tightly, his tears dripping in the glass.
"No," he whispered. "You can't do this to me, Lola. You promised me!"
An officer of the facility had informed them a body had been found, and had been taken in for examining.
It was Lola.
Rory felt all his memories of her flooded back.
All the times she saved him. All they times she called him idiot and then kissed him on the cheek. All the times he had wished he had just told her how much he loved her.
And now he would never get to.
Because Lola was dead.
Rory didn't even look up when the door opened.
"Good away, Doctor," he snapped.
"Is that anyway to great me?"
Rory looked up, his eyes confirming what he had heard.
"Lola..." He whispered. "But..."
Lola smiled.
"Ever heard of false information, Blondie?" Lola teased.
Rory hugged her so tightly Lola felt like she couldn't breathe.
"You scared me so much! I thought..." Rory gulped. "I thought you were dead!"
Lola hugged him back.
"I'm not leaving you, Rory Williams."
"You better not, Lola Sarah Pond. Or I'll have to..."
"Kiss me?" Lola smiled.
Rory pulled back.
"Maybe," he whispered.
And he did.
