Evan had woken up. He looked around the hospital room confused. He noticed an unfamiliar boy standing by the door with teary eyes. His was jaw dropped seeing Evan awake. His eyes were wide and teary. He ran to hold Evan close.  He missed the boy so much. The moment he heard what happened he burst into tears. "Who is this?" 
… 

His heart broke. Has Evan forgotten about him? And possibly their friendship? No…that can't be right! "It's Gregory. You remember me right? I-I'm your best friend!" He smiled to cover up the pain he felt at Evan's words. Evan stays silent. "You forgot about me..." Gregory sat down next to his friend still holding Evan. Evan was still confused as this boy held him rocking him back and forth like you would with a child. Gregory slid Evan's sleeve up revealing a bracelet. He slid his own up as well. He points at the bracelet on his wrist. "Evan and.." He points at Evan's bracelet. "Gregory. Do you see now? You remember right?" Evan looks down at the bracelet. "You're my friend?" Evan looked at Gregory in disbelief before giggling and hugging Gregory even though he doesn't know him well. Gregory smiles. "Yeah I'm your friend."
