Spider
Shindeku cus why not
In which, Midoriya has a mutation quirk making him similar to a spider. He does not go to UA.
Midoriya walked along the sidewalk with his head down, avoiding eye contact. He hated the attention he kept getting when he went in public, but if he got to see the UA Sports Festival in person, it was worth it. Honestly, nothing about him was all that eye catching, other than his bright green hair, and his four extra arms. Of course, they did alot of good when it came to multitasking, something that Midoriya had a bad habit of doing. However, they had a tendency to make him come off as creepy or weird, as he resembled a spider. Yeah, he had eight limbs, just like a spider, could make silk for webs out of his fingertips, and he even slept in his webs rather than a normal bed! And people didn't exactly like spiders..
He sighed, running a hand through his tangled hair, gripping his backpack straps with the rest of his hands.
Whatever, it didn't matter what other people thought of him! He wouldn't let that get in the way of his good day! After all, he had managed to get tickets to the first years sports festival!! A bright smile made it's way onto his face at the thought.
He was excited to see the newest heroes in training, especially Kacchan. Sure, Midoriya and him weren't on good terms, with Midoriya's freakish quirk, but he still wanted to watch!! After all, there was no way Bakugou wouldn't be the next number one hero, and Midoriya wanted to watch as it all fell into place.
He was also excited to write down analysis on all of the new quirks! He itched to reach into his backpack and fish out his most recent notebook, but that would wait till the Sports Festival.

As he watched the events take place, Midoriya babbled excitedly, his spare arms flailing around wildly as he wrote in his notebook.
By the end of the obstacle course, one specific kid peaked his interest. He was a purple haired kid, who had a bunch of other students carry him to the finish. He didn't rank high, but he had definitly passed to the next round. Midoriya didn't see him use a quirk once, which was surprising, but not disappointing. People were extremely relient on quirks anymore.
He was curious as to how the boy would get through the second round, which was a cavalry battle. After all, he was the only General Studies student there.
After the cavalry battle, everyone in his team dropped out, saying that they didn't remember what happened. "So the purple kid has some sort of mental quirk! That explains why I didn't see it! But what does it do...?" Midoriya mumbled. He could hear some people chuckling at him, but the spider-like boy didn't really care.
During the intervauls, Midoriya left to go to the bathroom, leaving his backpack in his seat.
When he got back, however, he saw that his backpack was covered in marker. Specifically, insulting words and comments. Midoriya looked downcast at the sight, but didn't say anything about it. It's not like he could do anything about it.
The purple haired boy (he now knew that the boy was Hitoshi Shinsou, thanks to Present Mic) got past the first two rounds of the tournament with ease, simply making his opponents leave the boandries. That ended when Todoroki just encased him in ice, though.
Afterwards, Midoriya decided he wanted to talk to Shinsou, and sought him out at the gate. He saw a puff of purple hair, and ran towards it, two of his arms waving mid air while the other four gripped his backpack straps. "Hey, Shinsou-san!! Wait up!!" He called up, cupping a pair of his hands around his mouth.
The crowd parted around the spider-like boy, and he saw Shinsou turn towards him. "Oh great..." Shinsou groaned. Midoriya ran up to him, grinning like a maniac. "Uhm, hi!! I uh, I saw you in the Sports Festival, it was really amazing!! I've never seen a General Studies student do so good in the Sports Festival!! What's your quirk? I think it's some sort of mental quirk since it made the other people on your team forget what happened, but I'm not sure. Oh! And you were able to make your opponents walk out of bounds just like that!!! It was so cool!!!"
Shinsou stepped backwards, "calm down, you're going too fast"
"Oh, sorry... I have a habit of rambling" Midoriya said, scratching his head sheepishly.
"Uh, it's fine.." Shinsou muttered awkwardly. There was a light pink dusting his cheeks, which Midoriya easily noticed, "Hey, are you okay? Your face looks a little red.. Wait, am I embarassing you? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to.."
"No, no, your fine... It's just that people don't normally compliment me like that.." Shinsou said. Midoriya frowned "Huh, well, I think that you're amazing!!"
Shinsou's eyes trailed over to the writing on his backpack, and he asked, "what's with your backpack? There's writing all over it..."
Midoriya's arms dropped, and he sighed, "nothing, really.. People don't like me much cus of my quirk. I'm like a spider, and people don't really like spiders.. Hey, what is your quirk, anyway?" Now it was Shinsou's turn to sigh, "my quirk is called brainwashing. I can control anyone who answers my questions.. it's.. considered a villain's quirk"
That's not right! He has an amazing quirk, perfect for a hero!!
Midoriya lifted one of his arms out, "well, Shinsou-san.. My name is Midoriya Izuku, let's be friends."

Midoriya and Shinsou had been hanging out alot after that day, and had grown closer to each other quickly.
They were currently chatting to each other at a cafe, Midoriya rambling on about heroes. His eyes sparkled as he spoke, and he had a wide grin on his face. His many arms waved around wildly, making gestures matching what he said.
It was pretty cute, in Shinsou's opinion.
Shinsou felt his face heat up at the thought, and covered it up with his hands. Midoriya stopped talking, "Toshi-kun? Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah.... you're just so cute.." Shinsou responded, not fully thinking about what he had said until after it already came out. His blushing only intensified, and Midoriya's face turned red as well. "Y-you think I'm c-cute?!"
"W-Well, I-I think your pretty c-cute too...." Midoriya mumbled.
The rest of the afternoon was quiet, as neither one of them was sure how to continue the conversation. However, when they were leaving, Midoriya said, "u-uhm, hey Toshi... D-do you th-think we c-could... d-date..?"
"Yeah, I'd like that.."
