He stayed in the asylum for 5 years. In those five years he was treated with experimental medication and was always put in solitary confinement. Supposedly the medication was the cause of his Dark purple eyes and pale face. But his hell ended when a man known as the Mad Hatter freed him from his imprisonment. Now he roams free.
