Same characters as the previous story :)

The world was in the middle of a massive solar storm which had been affecting the Kent's powers. Clark and Natalie were experiencing power fluctuations because its the sun that gives them their powers and at the moment the sun was being disturbed.

Natalie was flying around the planet at the time of one of these fluctuations, when it hit she plummeted to earth.

"DAD!"

There was no response from Clark, his hearing was being effected by the storm.

"DAD, HELP ME!" Shouted Natalie as she fell to earth.

Clark still could not hear Natalie.

Natalie collided with the ocean off the coast of Cuba. A few hours later she washed up on the coast of an island which looked uninhabited.

"COUGH COUGH" Spluttered Natalie as she ejected the water from her lungs. She dragged herself up and into the shade provided by the trees.

"Dad can you hear me?" asked Natalie into the wind. She used her super hearing to listen for a response, but none came.

"Jordan can you hear me?"

Natalie heard a faint voice, Jordan could hear her.

"JORDAN!" shouted Natalie

"Natalie?"

Hours ago at the Kent farm

"Clark there's a solar storm about to hit the planet" shouted Lois from the porch.

Clark was holding up the tractor so he could fix something underneath. He put it down when he heard his wife.

"Where's Natalie and Jordan?" he asked as he walked into the house with Lois.

"Jordan's in his room and so is Natalie"

"Boys, Natalie come down here please!" shouted Lois up the stairs.

Seconds later the boys came downstairs, but Natalie was not with them.

"Where's Nat?" asked Clark

The boys looked at each other, Natalie had asked them not to tell Lois and Clark she was leaving.

"Boys, this is serious, where is she?"

"She went flying" admitted Jordan

"Dude!" said Johnathan

"They said it was serious"

"When did she leave?" asked Lois who looked silently mad

"About two hours ago, she said she needed some space"

"Can you hear her?" Lois asked Clark

"No the storms starting to effect me"

"Storm?" questioned Johnathan

"The solar storm, the sun is what gives us our powers"

"What if Nat was effected while she was flying?" asked Lois

Jordan didn't hear what his mom said, he was listening to something else, Natalie.

"I can hear her"

"Natalie?"

Jordan nodded

"Is she okay?" asked Lois

"Nat you good?"

'Honestly no, I'm marooned on an island, I fell while flying'

"She's on an island, se fell when she was flying"

"Natalie stay put I'll come get you" said Clark

Clark left the house and took off, well that's what he intended to do, he didn't even leave the ground. Clark sighed and went back into the house.

"I can't fly"

'Fantastic, what am I supposed to do in the meantime?'

"Nat's asking what she should do" said Jordan

"Any chance she can fly?" asked John

'Don't you think I've tried dumbass'

Jordan laughed at her comment

"What she say?" asked John

"She said 'Don't you think I've tried dumbass'"

"I'm calling my dad, maybe he can help" said Lois

"Natalie stay put we'll figure something out" said Clark

'Its not like I'm going anywhere dad'

"She said 'Okay'"

'No I didn't, you are not a reliable translator J'

Natalie Pov

"So I'm Marooned on an island, alone, with nothing to do....fantastic and now I'm talking to myself"

Natalie got up and started to collect sticks and leaves so she could make a shelter as she saw a storm looming on the horizon. She hoped her father or her grandfather would get to her before it reached her.

An hour later Natalie had a reasonably strong shelter and a small fire going, she was currently tying one of her shoe laces to the end of a stick and using her heat vision to slightly melt her earing, she attached it to the other end of the shoe lace and now she had a functioning fishing rod. She removed her shoes and socks and rolled up the bottom of her jeans and walked into the water, she saw the fish scatter as she got close to them.

She caught about three fish before she returned to her fire. She attempted to use her heat vision to cook her fish but the storm stopped her. So she found a flat rock and put her fish on top.

About 30 minutes later Natalie was eating her fish while watching the sun set.

"Natalie?"

"J?"

"You okay, moms asking?"

"The suns setting, but overall I'm pretty good"

"Dad says to be careful the solar storms getting bad"

"Solar storm? Is that what messing with my powers?"

"Yeah, dad's experiencing it too"

"Doesn't seem like you are"

"I am just not as much as you and dad"

"I'm going to get some sleep, say goodnight to Mom and Dad for me will ya?"

"I will, night Nat"

"Night J"

The next morning Natalie woke up and remembered she was marooned on an island.

"Natalie?"

"Dad?"

"Oh thank god, are you okay?"

"Yeah I thought you couldn't hear me?"

"The storm passed last night, I'm coming to get you"

"'bout time"

Seconds later Natalie saw her dad flying towards her.

"DOWN HERE DAD!"

Clark landed on the beach, Natalie ran up to Clark and hugged him.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I've never been so glad to see you"

Clark chuckled "Lets go home"

"Happily, how mad is mom?"

"Out of ten...six"

"I'm screwed"

Clark and Nat took off, about a minute later the landed outside the house. Lois ran up to her daughter and hugged her.

"I'm sorry mom"

"I know, I'm just glad your okay"

"She's more than that, she created a shelter and even caught fish" explained Clark, clearly beaming with pride.

"You did?" asked Lois

"Yeah" said Natalie sheepishly 

"I'm proud of you and the next time you need space just tell us before you fly off, okay?" said Lois

"I will, promise"
