The story of how Thea and Percy met.

"Hey hey watch it, newbie here" said Grover who was almost riddled with arrows along with Percy.

They made their way down to the beach where Chiron was talking to a girl slightly older than Percy, she had Black hair that became blue half way down and her hair looked like it was on fire.

"I DON'T CARE CHIRON!"

"Percy"

The girl turned round to see Percy standing there, her eyes were glowing a light blue, after a few seconds they stopped glowing and her hair no longer looked like it was on fire.

"Welcome"

"I didn't mean to interrupt"

"Nothing to interrupt, we're finished" said the girl who walked past Percy, hitting his shoulder with hers.

"She was..."

"Thea, daughter of Hades. She has a short temper, follow me"

Chiron and Percy walked down to the waters edge where there was a cabin, they walked inside and Percy figured out who his god parent was.

They heard the dinner bell chime and they made their way to dinner. Percy sat down with Grover at the Poseidon table, Percy noticed Thea sitting alone so he decided to ask Grover about her.

"What's her deal?"

"Thea, she is not someone you wanna mess with, believe me"

"Chiron said she was the daughter of Hades, doesn't that make us cousin's?"

"Huh...I guess it does"

"You got something to say to me Water boy?" said Thea who had stuck her knife into the table in the space between Percy's fingers.

"No, nothing"

"Well then keep your gossip to yourself" she said as she left. She made her way back to her cabin which was situated away from the others, she didn't want to be near them, she didn't even want to be at the camp, she wanted to be back in the underworld with her father and step-mother.

She entered her cabin and started punching the punching bag she had hung from the ceiling. It was her way of relieving her stress and anger.

KNOCK KNOCK

"WHAT!" she shouted as she opened her door.

"I saw you storm out at dinner, so I brought you this" said Annabeth who was holding a plate of various meats and fruits.

"Thanks I guess" said Thea as she took the plate and shut the door in Annabeth's face.

"He's your cousin, you can't run from your family forever" said Annabeth from the other side of the door.

Thea knew she was right, he may not be the family she wanted in the moment, but he was still family. She took a deep breath and left her cabin. She made her way down to the water, she sat on a rock and started skipping stones on the water.

"Hey"

"Hi"

Percy sat next to her and was silently trying to figure out what to say to her.

"So you and I are cousins Huh?"

"It would seem so"

"Where you from?" he asked

"L.A, you?"

"New York"

" I've always wanted to see New York"

"Maybe I could show you one day"

"Really?"

"Sure"

"Why are you being nice to me? I've been a bitch to you"

"I see that's just the mask you wear, you not really a bad person, you just don't want to be seen as weak"

"Observant...for a guy"

"Thanks...and besides we're cousins, I've never had a cousin before"

"I have...Thalia, daughter of Zeus"

"I didn't know Zeus had a daughter"

"Yep...but she died, the day Annabeth and I arrived here, Zeus made her into a tree which powers the forcefield that protects us from outside threats"

"I'm sorry, I wish I could have met her"

"That's why I didn't want to know you, I didn't want to lose another cousin"

"I understand that"

Thea and Percy became fast friends and Thea began to change, she came to be very popular at the camp. It seems all she needed was to open her heart to her family, which was everywhere, everyone at the camp its related to each other in some way. The biggest family ever.
